Trump is not trying to start a trade war, he is trying to create a better trade balance and bring more industry and manufacturing back to the United States.

If Trump would just stop acting like a buffoon and talking in such an arrogant way about what he's doing, many wouldn't even be paying much attention to it or talking about it.

But he is who he is and it is what it is.....and TES rules the day (Trump Emotional Syndrome).

The same goes for the ridiculous call for Canada to be the 51st State. As the UK and EU pound their chests and march towards WW3 with Russia, perhaps Trump is trying to get Canada to separate themselves more so from the UK/EU than he is trying to get them to be the 51st state???? To be more in line with the US rather than the insane globalists of the UK/EU?????? In my opinion Trump is trying to save Canada more than trying to destroy Canada, especially due to it being a US border country.

In my opinion we are closer to WW3 right now than we were, say a year ago. The insane psychopath globalists see war as their only way to maintaining power and relevance. Trump is trying to stop this or at the very least distancing the US from being involved in such a catastrophic war in hopes of preventing it from happening. Without the backing of the US, the UK and EU are basically toothless in such an assault against Russia, Trump knows this.

The times we are in it's wiser to think with a critical mind rather than an erratic emotional mind.........
Bon.... another blind forum member! open your eyes! you American have imposed on the whole world your war, you are rich because of taking from others and topling rightfully elected governments to do so, and the rest of the world was unfair to you!!!

F ck, you have never travel and talked to the rest of the 7 billions people that are not Americans.

This is a war, a trade war is a war. Trump is lying through his teeth, his whole mouth, daily. You will bite your fingers when Russia will take over most of the world or when you will receive bad news for your country, playing once again victim of the world.

Don't you know the DARVO method of pervert narcissists? Deny, argue, reverse victim and offender. This is precisely what he is doing.

Gosh, how can you tell Canada is with the EU. Trump is pushing us to be, thanks to Putin's influence most probably. We were your best and strongest allies and are now **** upon. Trump is not trying to stop ww3, he is pusing to have it. He is constantly threatening the world, changing his mind, threatening again,

You are soooooo blind that it is desperating. We have no choice, the rest of the world, but unite against you guys. And more when I see US population soooooooo uneducated, so closed minded to any fact that does not drive with their brainwashed paradigm.

The facts: USA is broke and will do anything to get the wealth and resources of other countries. Why broke? because of corruption and mismanagement, and it is still going on with the present administration.
I'll give you points for provocation and passion, Flash. But these ad hominem rants you sometimes go on (throwing in allusions to Putin for good measure) do get the best of you. I would characterize only a very few members here on the forum who are blinded and uneducated, but those you have called out are most definitely not among them.

Looking past all that to give your views their due, I find some of your claims persistently lack follow through and support and leave me wanting:

What evidence do you have Trump is lying through his teeth, and specifically about what? I'm eager to consider. We all do understand Donald Trump has a grandiose communication style and often exaggerates, sometimes with hyperbole and a very broad brush, but this is hardly unique in politics. Contrarily, relative to every POTUS in my lifetime, Trump is by far the most genuine. In fact, to a fault. His very authenticity, i.e., he doesn't "hide" some of his personality shortcomings with polish and sheen (what you see and hear is what you get) is likely the very reason you and others despise him so and associate so many misnomers and falsehoods to his Man-of-the-Street demeanor.

We've already hashed out the fentanyl issue -- so we don't need to go there. Let's agree the Fentanyl issue is but a small part of the trade dispute. Specifically, given your many posts and views about the issue, why do you feel is it okay for Canada to levy 250% - 300% tariffs and duties on American farmers exporting dairy products into Canada without expecting reciprocal measures on Canadian exports to balance and level the playing field? Likewise with livestock, crops, and other natural resources? What justification do you give the Crown for subsidizing the stumpage fee on the Canadian lumber harvest exported to the United States, effectively squeezing out the domestic lumber industry in the United States, without expecting similar measures by the government of the United States? You escalate the trade dispute by bandying about terms like "war" -- which is my view is not only reckless, but incorrect -- I wouldn't go so far to say the Crown's stumpage subsidy on lumber, or on other tariffs imposed, is a "war" specially against the U.S., but it is most certainly a war against free markets.

I find many who are so passionate about these issues really do not have a solid grasp on the economic issues that underlie what is happening here. We can debate the virtues of free markets vs. socialism vs. communism all day long and forever until we all agree on Nirvana. But as I've said before (and will reiterate again) regardless of your ideological position on these issues, the United States is presently undergoing a radical breakaway from the globalist/crony socialist order with which it was previously entwined, and it is moving back to a system more resemblant of free markets and nationalist interests. Or simply (reducing that to the sixth-grade reading level the general population understands), MAGA. You may disagree with that, and many do. But that's what's happening here. None should be surprised that in the process of this breakaway, imposing a fair market trading system onto its globalist neighbors & trading partners by leveling the playing field is going to ruffle some feathers and will likely be a rocky transition.

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Ends FDA Loophole Allowing Big Food to Sneak Harmful Chemicals Into U.S. Food Supply -- Video

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: “In the final months of the election, President Trump repeatedly called for removing toxins from our food supply. He added his voice to the millions of MAHA moms who were touting the Make America Healthy Again agenda.

The first step is radical transparency because, right now, not even the U.S. government knows what’s in our food. In 1958, the government created a designation called Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) so that common ingredients like salt and baking soda could be exempt from testing.

But today, it isn’t just salt and baking soda. Food companies and cooperative regulators have expanded the GRAS exemption, allowing these companies to decide for themselves whether a substance is generally recognized as safe. No FDA approval is needed.

European nations, on the other hand, require that a chemical be proven safe before it becomes a food ingredient. In our country, the GRAS standard means that every chemical is presumed safe until proven dangerous. That proof might not come until millions of Americans are suffering from chronic disease. This mass experiment on the American population with GRAS has, in short, been a catastrophe.

We now have around 10,000 chemicals in our food. Europe has only 400.

For example, titanium dioxide—potentially linked to DNA damage and cancer—is banned in the EU, but it’s in our children’s food. Potassium bromate, a suspected carcinogen, is banned in Europe and Japan. You guessed it—it’s in our children’s bread.

Food dyes such as Red Dye 40 and Yellow 5 and 6 come with warning labels in Europe. They’re linked to behavioral issues in children. But in the U.S., they are generally recognized as safe.

We can’t really blame the food companies. They’re just doing what we’ve allowed them to get away with in a system that has taken on a life of its own. We all agree now that it’s time to change the system—and that’s exactly what we’re going to do.

Today, I am directing the FDA Commissioner to start the process of changing the rules to eliminate the self-affirming GRAS pathway for new ingredients. I am also directing the FDA and NIH to ramp up post-market assessments of GRAS chemicals currently in our food so that we can rapidly identify the compounds making Americans sick and so that consumers and regulators can make informed decisions.

This issue isn’t going away. Moms aren’t going to go back to wanting chemicals in our food that are banned in other developed countries. Even the industry knows that we have to change.

So, I promise you, I am going to work with all parties—the companies, the moms, and the scientists—to make American food the healthiest in the world, just as it was when I was a child.”

The Division of Homeland Security in the Trump Administration demands that Columbia University comply with numerous demands, including putting their Middle East studies program into a receivership program for five years, suspending students for several years for participating in protests and revoking their diplomas. The Trump Administration is clearly trying to end the First Amendment to the U.S. constitution and bypassing the principle of Due Process.

I haven't found any other media coverage of this subject except this video by Glenn Greenwald. He starts at about 12:50 on the video and at 39:30 interviews Alex Abdo, who is the Litigation Director at the First Amendment institute at Columbia University.

Thanks Kryztian for posting the above video from Glenn Greenwald. i had not read yet or heard it explained clearly as in this video.
This is indeed alarming, and i cant comprehend the lack of logic to sacrifice the most essential freedom for protecting the obvious dirty lies about the genocide & the horrible Zionist's aggression against Palestinians. This will backfire big time! All hell will break lose and this prohibition wont work ofcourse , this is very sad and not even Israel will benefit from this.

The main thing to remember is that Biden and that faction literally are pretty much intentionally doing everything wrong and harmful. So, as all of us 'blind' people have pointed out, we are glad to see Mr. T doing at least 50% positive and far far more honesty and transparency. Again we are comparing to the usual 90% lies.

Not to mention, I'm very confident it doesn't matter if he isn't purely good. He is waking up more than ever and shaking the scam system really hard. If that is the cabal's plan, I laugh at them. Awakening the masses with all kinds of revelations and just rattling everything, is what I want. I'd love for the awakening to be easy, but since the covid scandal wasn't even enough, I guess we need a harder shaking or at least a series of similar degree shakings.

The post on the canadian tariffs are apparently partly true, unless grok is wrong. Can anyone verify. Perhaps they are exaggerating to justify putting so many tariffs on canada. But really , they are going to do it to rebuild the American metal industries and what not, and/or put the heat on Canada to make them aligned with MAGA for the NA Union and crush their woke stupidity.

MAHA and Health Freedom are going to get a serious haircut

I’ve seen enough evidence. I’ve listened to the torch bearers of the Movement. I’m making the call.

By the time MAHA reaches its ultimate degree of influence, it will have lost of most of its hair in the process. And it will deliver very little.

Its whole basis has to change. Radically.

People can continue dreaming if they want to. They can continue to make a personal investment of faith in Robert Kennedy if they want to. But the intelligent thing to do is: separate personal faith and admiration for the man from what he will actually accomplish, given his approach to solving issues.

He shows no signs of knocking down walls. He’s not the extreme disruptor he needs to be.

Make no mistake about it, the entrenched medical/pharmaceutical establishment can only be toppled from its throne by massive popular revolt.

How that happens…this is what I’ve been writing and speaking about. Listen to my recent podcast here.

Very smart lawyers, who are dedicated to Health Freedom and who have worked cases with Kennedy, are thrilled by his confirmation as head of Health and Human Services. They’re clueless.

The deep ongoing crimes of the medical cartel aren’t going to be solved in the courts. Or on Capitol Hill. Or through reform at the FDA, CDC, and NIH.

MAHA, on its present course, will achieve some results at those federal agencies. But not enough. Celebrations will be delusional.

More honest information on the consequences and effects of public health measures, heard by more who themselves or their children are being drastically harmed, sometimes highlighted by a court case, sometimes told through a main stream news media that has become a weaker, less omnipotent purveyor of the "main stream narrative", and sometimes from their personal doctors who feel less legally at risk when speaking the truth ... these are needed to fully energized the necessary public outrage.

The law, the legislation, the regulation, the medical "standards of care", the news reporting, the "government stats", ... all need to be attacked.

Exactly right. Call it exaggerating, hyperbole, whatever. The "tariff claims" widely touted as lies by legacy media (and others) are indeed true, but only after American dairy farmers exceed their quotas. The Trump administration's rhetoric conveying the restricted markets to the public (and which the legacy media ignores)--let's call it communication flourish--is something the general public understands well at the sixth-grade level. But the real issue is nuances and loopholes in the trade agreement at the collegiate level that effectively deny the US fair market access under USMCA, and which restrict US exporters from ever coming anywhere near their quotas. This is widely acknowledged and something even the Biden administration took issue with. But at the end of the day, the more-friendly (globalist/socialist) Biden administration looked past these loopholes and condoned Canada’s supply-management system that sets prices and controls on production and imports, stifling competition--namely exports from the United States.

What the Trump Administration is doing by calling out Canada on this, via his various communication flourishes, is informing his sixth-grade class that Canada is unfairly undermining--even breaking--their obligations under the USMCA trade agreement, and through executive action, announcing a leveling of the playing field. Or simply, putting our globalist friends in the North on notice that the modus operandi of this US administration is to rebuild American industry, effectively "putting the heat on" to align their nation into a MAGA-friendly North American Union.

51st Staters: Canadians Who Want To Be Part of the US Are Swearing Allegiance to America (VIDEO)

Because the US is tired of subsidizing the Canadian economy while also guaranteeing their security, President Donald J. Trump has floated the shockingly unexpected idea of annexing Canada as ‘the 51st state’.

The idea fell like a bomb in the great white north, and in a first poll, more than 10% of the population is already behind it.

In some Canadian provinces like Alberta, the idea is gaining ground. Bison farmer Don Casselman worries that Canada is doomed and, if Alberta is to save itself, it must break away and become a US state.

After all, with just 63,000 military troops to defend over 10 million km2, it is powerless against incursions by Russia or China.

    The Telegraph reported:

“The answer, to Mr Casselman, was obvious. ‘I want President Trump to come and visit us’, he said, referring to the bison ranch-turned-separatist hub that stretched out over the fields into the distance. Perhaps a plan could be hashed out with Danielle Smith, Alberta’s conservative premier, for the absorption of Alberta into the United States. ‘I want my children to understand what it means to be free’.”

Initially, most people imagined that Trump’s idea was nothing but a good old-fashioned troll, but ‘Governor’ Trudeau soon learnt to take the ‘threat’ seriously.

The secessionist provinces like Alberta and Saskatchewan make up almost exactly 10 per cent of the country that was polled to be favorable to the 51st state idea.

If these provinces make a concerted effort to leave, it could ‘unravel the basis of the Canadian state.’.

“’I’m thinking of moving with my family to the US’, sighed Chris Hunter, a 40-year-old oil worker, over a pint of beer at the [Edmonton] bar. […] While Mr. Hunter was not an active supporter of secession, he said he would reconsider his decision to leave Alberta if Mr. Trump took over. ‘He’s a businessman’, Mr. Hunter said, ‘and so am I’.”

“Over a lunch of hot dogs, the separatists shared the beliefs that had steeled them to face public derision. Some mentioned vaccine mandates imposed by the federal government, others the harsh treatment of the 2022 ‘Freedom Convoy’ trucker protest, which snaked from Alberta to the capital.”

Albertan citizen James Goransrud talked about the imposition of a carbon tax: “It’s taxation without representation, and historically that’s a problem, right?”

Others complain that Alberta is ‘better at killing patients than treating them’, following the and wide popularization legalization of ‘assisted suicide’ (a.k.a. euthanasia).

“’All we’re doing is saying we want this, yeah, we accept President Trump’s offer’, [oil worker Peter] Downing said, while 18-wheeler trucks roared past on the snow-fringed highway outside the window. ‘We want lower taxes. And we want to never pay another dime to Ottawa through ‘equalization.” […] Moreover, if Mr Trump took power, ‘Drill, Baby, Drill’ would remove the shackles from Alberta’s oil industry.”

In response to Trumancash #735 post above, it needs to be said again: the Trump regime is doing a psyop on Canadians, by making a number of false claims, with the hope that social media will just run with it. That may be partly happening, but there's the strong possibility that much of the pro-Trump chatter is generated and distributed by AI bots. The Trump regime has shown itself to be sleazy enough for doing something like this.

In reality, Canada is not subsidized by the USA, never has been. The USA hasn't been protecting Canada militarily, on the contrary. The USA has made the world a more dangerous place with it numerous regime change operations that resulted in building up much hatred against it. USA has used Canada's airspace for military operations that potentially make Canada a target from some foreign power retaliating against USA. Once again, Trump's tariffs are nonsensical. They'll just end up harming ordinary citizens the most.

Looks more like the Trump regime's main intention is to keep on with chaotic announcements and flip-flops. It all appears to be an increasingly desperate attempt at maintaining global perception of the USA as the one and only superpower, that gets to create the rules and smash down anybody who objects. Just all show to remain in the limelight. If that's working at all, it's only with the gullible. Most folks with critical thinking skills see that it's all theatre, that soon will burn itself out. It's inevitable.

Perhaps the chaos is not all theatre that will soon burn itself out.

Perhaps it's a necessary stage in weakening and fracturing the control grid that has gripped humanity for millenia.

Which it is depends on the real intent and capacity of the chaos provokers.
