Default Elon Musk Saves Stranded Astronauts

I was surprised to discover that we don't have an Elon thread (or maybe we do and I've just missed it all this time). This particular story is certainly worthy of the News/Current events section, just not sure which subsection it should go into...

Anyway, the brilliant Musk has added to his remarkable resume by saving the 2 astronauts that were left in space thoughtlessly (or perhaps as part of a demented political strategy) by Biden and his retarded minions for 9 months. They will be returning to earth on Tuesday.

Of course this will go dramatically underreported because God forbid either Trump or Musk get any credit for anything in the MSM...

Short 2 minute video here, includes a message from the astronauts thanking Trump and Musk, which I'd bet my mother's life never makes it onto CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS or any other such disgraceful media outlet run by woke subnormals.

Today on my favourite radio station's 5 minute news broadcast they actually reported this, it's mostly a rock music station with a rather cool vibe, but the news they broadcast is strictly of the (leftist) 'mainstream' type.

It's weird but when I think of an analogous representation for Elon I think of Batman.
Only here is the weird thing.
    Elon is cooler than Batman.
Elon is working with the president using detective work to find and out the biggest enemies of the human race.
Then he nonchalantly builds a rocket and rescues some astronauts.
Batman only deals with street thugs and organized local crime .
Elon deals with global orchestrators of organized crimes.
    Dude is a bad a$$

Sorry, I could not resist adding this here

Federal Judge Orders Astronauts Be Returned To Space Station

Quote U.S. — A district judge has issued a ruling saying Trump lacked the Constitutional authority to pick up two astronauts who have been stranded at the International Space Station for several months.

SpaceX has been ordered to return the astronauts immediately.

"I will not stand by while Donald Trump abuses his power like a dictator," said Judge Earl Flanders in his ruling. "Trump has no authority to pick up these astronauts, and I can say that because I'm a federal judge, and no one is allowed to argue with me, and everyone has to do what I say."
(Full Babylon Bee parody article in link above). It is hard to tell fact from parody these days......

But HUGE fan of Elon Musk here, and yes, he should definitely have his own thread - I could not find a distinct one either - scattered topics as he plays so many roles in so many fields.

I don't think people (at least on the left) have really taken the time to understand the impact that Musk is having on our world. As of today, he is comparable to Nikola Tesla or Henry Ford. Considering that he has another twenty-plus years to live, especially in an AI world, he could easily surpass the likes of Thomas Jefferson or Lenardo da Vinci. He truly is a force of nature and we should celebrate his successes and watch him grow after his failures. Even casual observers of Elon Musk can easily see that he is not motivated by wealth, nor does he harbour any desire to harm mankind.

The idea of hating people should not even enter our collective psyche. The thought of hating someone who is so obviously extraordinary for political reasons simply small-minded. The idea of cheering for the failure of Elon Musk is heart-wrenching and painful to witness. Threatening his life and the lives of his family members and destroying his auto dealerships while he is rescuing American astronauts from space and attempting to save the USA from financial ruin is incomprehensible. It is almost as if the Musk haters have had their minds captured by and external force and they can no longer decipher right from wrong.

The thought of an entire group of people bound together through focused hate for one very incredible human can best be described as a mental illness or more precisely evil. When it is all said and done the Musk haters will not be leaving our world a better place for mankind.

The astronauts aren't safe until they're safely back on Earth again. Getting back safely is half the challenge.

Precisely my thoughts. The hate this great man generates is simply inconceivable to me. His courage and goodness are so plainly self-evident that I have to agree with your mental illness/evil assertion. The media are doing a number on him, but I consider that a manifestation of a deeper evil. And that deeper evil is encouraging mental illness in some and exacerbating it where it already exists. That's how it seems to me.

My thoughts also, as reentry accidents are always a risk, but I also deeply hope the mission is well-defended against Musk-hatred within the dark forces/deep-state who might try something to tarnish today's results.

Elon had hell in his childhood too. He was bullied and beaten up at the expensive all white school he went to (so much for privilege!) - he was almost beaten to death at one stage by a pack of boys.

I think there is something in the base human consciousness which is so warped in the pack. If kids or people sense a large aura, a gifted person or genius, or even someone different - they go into attack mode and want to kill it. They always attack someone who is of good intentions. They do not try to understand it. They want it extinguished.

Animals on the other hand select the strongest and most able to be the leaders of their pack. (Which is why animals are way smarter than humans in general).

A large chunk of humans seem to gang up and HATE on anyone who is there to genuinely help and improve things. It would be a whole other thread to understand that. Wetiko virus.

My view is that when people or packs hate too much, gang up in a blind hatred, there is something in that person that makes those people feel bad about themselves - makes them feel small and inadequate and inferior in comparison, so they have to kill it or trash it.

I myself feel grateful to simply be on this planet at the same time as Elon Musk to observe this INCREDIBLE genius who JUST wants to make the world a better place. FFS. Sorry. But it is there throughout human history. Going back to Socrates, and a long litany of incredible people who have been hung, drawn and quartered for simply having a magnificent gift and wanting to share it with the world.

Sounds more like a PR stunt . It´s not like Musk did it for free . Average cost to launch for Space-X is around 20 million and they charge 60-70 million or more for it. So they got payd nicely and it made them look good.
Im not an Musk hater but i certainly dont trust the guy . Seems more like a frontman for certain powerful gang that want to turn this world into technocracy nightmare which would be easily ruled and controlled by them .
Turning earth into a giant microwave oven with his starlink , putting wires into humans brains (Neuralink) , electric cars that can be remotely controlled or turned off ....
Without DARPA and US military he would not be where he is .

With DOGE they seem to be culling the herd , getting rid of deadweight and useless idiots who have done the damage/their jobs and are no longer needed. A.I can replace them ....
Plenty of sketchy thing about Musk that makes him look very suspicious.

What would he have to do for you to trust him? How many more astronauts' lives would he have to save? How many more times would he have to offer Starlink for free to areas ravaged by natural disasters? How many more unpaid hours would he have to sacrifice for the country? How many more death threats would he have to endure as a result of it? How much more destruction to his property would have to happen? How many more contributions to sustainable energy would he have to offer you? How many more times would he have to rescue free speech? How many more millions of dollars would he have to donate to charity?

    Serious questions.

Here's a livestream, with full running SpaceX/NASA commentary, which started 20 minutes ago. (They haven't crashed yet!) Splashdown is scheduled for 5:57 pm US Eastern Time, just under an hour from now.

And while some of the humans were running around burning Teslas today, some dolphins appeared to welcome the astronauts back.

Being skeptical is not the same as being hateful.
Skeptics have good reasons for their skepticism, and history has certainly proven that over and over again.
Particularly now when the Globalists' poisonous webs are so widespread, and we don't learn the truth about so many of their heinous acts until it is too late to do anything about it.
They have become very expert at hiding their secrets.

I understand that Musk is a galvanizing character and it is perfectly OK to approach him with a degree of skepticism but at this juncture, he has established a long-term track record. His behavior and mission in life have not wavered. He is a human being who needs to be in a constant state of motion, he feels he is here for a purpose and he is on a mission to fulfill that purpose which is to make the future better for humanity. Whether we like it or not he has already put the world on the same road he is travelling. From where I sit that road includes, grand space exploration, Twitter or X (free speech), cleaner cars, wireless communication, open source AI, Neuralink, and his sleeper company the Boring Company which may eventually compete with the major airlines providing clean fast transportation. On top of all of that, he is trying to stop massive fraud, waste and corruption in the American government.

Please don't misunderstand what I am about to say but both Musk and Trump were not blessed with even mediocre social skills. At times they both seem to be their own worst enemy, but they were blessed with good hearts that want to do the right thing for humanity. They have also been blessed with the ability to bring evil out into the open and expose it to the truth. It is exceptionally rare to see this happen but right now around the world evil is on full display.

Trump and Musk are targets of evil and I do fear for their safety.

Well said. I'm in agreement with you there.

I'm perfectly okay with some skepticism, but I see quite a bit of cynicism out there masquerading as skepticism when it comes to Musk. For a certain type of person, there is nothing Musk can do that would ever satisfy them. It's the same affliction we see with Trump.

I think we have a moral obligation to get behind our great genius' and offer our support. Not our blind worship, but our support. Musk has shown himself to be sincere, honest, and largely selfless across multiple domains now, over time, and I think the reasonable person has to look at what he's done and said so far and offer him the benefit of the doubt. I don't think it's particularly noble or wise to cling to skepticism when someone of Musk's caliber is demonstrating over and over again that he has humanity's best interests at heart. To pick at this or that thing, or to offer some abstract fear of world domination thru A.I. or something isn't useful at this time in history. There's just too much at stake.

And the bottom line is - would all this hatred of Elon Musk - which was NOT there before - be directed to him if he had not taken on DOGE to do a decades long overdue audit of where American taxpayers money was going all this time? And uncovered what he has so far?

I always looks at WHEN the Hate campaign started, and for what reason. It was DOGE that sent the paid propagandists and their brainwashed minions over the edge.

Huge difference between valid critical thinking - Elon is not perfect, he has flaws like all of us - and hatred.

All I see is B*lls of Titanium - courage and integrity. Which has increased my respect for him exponentially, along with his brilliant mind and genius. But do I worship and follow everything he says? No. Then I would be no different than the paid and the brainwashed.

I have some concerns about his long term agenda too. But right now, for someone to stick their head in the very pits of hell and expose all those "on the take" - WOW. I know of very few people that would be prepared to do that and take all the demonic fury now being levied at him.
