Tommy wasn’t convicted of a crime — contempt of court is a civil offence. As a civil prisoner, he has many more rights. A politically angry prison governor can’t just punish him because she dislikes him. She’s done this before, by the way. When Julian Assange was in prison there, she tried to stop him from even getting married. And she banned Reporters Without Borders from even visiting Assange to see if he was OK. She’s used to bullying prisoners. It’s only been a couple of days and she is adding extra punishments to Tommy’s sentence. Well, not if we have anything to say about it. We’ve got to fight back. Even the judge who sentenced Tommy to prison said how dangerous a prison setting is for Tommy. Before Tommy went to prison, he asked me to look after legal matters like this, and now that he sees what it’s like on the inside, he has approved the plan to hire specialist prison lawyers to challenge this out-of-control governor. By any standards and regardless of personal opinions about the man...what's happening to Tommy Robinson is wrong - illegal and brings the British Legal System into disrepute... shades of what happened to Julian Assange - blatant corruption within legal circles and abuse of power....

In this phone call he describes his days in solidary confinement and how it is widely accepted that this kind of brutal treatment is designed to break people - break them so bad they become very psychologically damaged ....in other words it's a form of torture... and he shouldn't even be there because he's in for a civil offence...

The imprisonment of Stephen Yaxley Lennon AKA Tommy Robinson is based on a massive coverup, the judge in sentencing Tommy stated that his publishing of the details concerning the gagging order on that Syrian migrant boy's headmaster constituted a contempt of court. However, the court order to begin with was highly questionable, the Syrian boy happened to be obnoxious and aggressive, bullying several people - girls- and so the media narrative that he had been 'waterboarded' from racist motives collapsed, deeply embarrassing for the official story, and calling into question the veracity of the whole case. What should have happened if the U.K were a genuinely just country, one that values the truth, was that this case should have been dismissed, and all charges of racism dropped. Tommy has repeatedly embarrassed and exposed the official government position.
I am not claiming Tommy Robinson is an Angel, but his sentence was excessive, and unjust.
The Reform party has sought to distance itself from TR - the matter is complex and I am sure most are aware of the spurious 'EDL' link, while relevant in the early part of the 2000's - since 2010 at least no such official organisation has existed.
I think it is deeply hypocritical of Nigel Farage Et Al to renounce TR, and refer like the American Democrats with Trump, to 'convictions' - the vast bulk of these convictions were invalid, and constructed from technicalities and letter-of-the-law type applications. It is refreshing to see Elon Musk offer a powerful view, this is obviously setting the bees off in the hive!

Nigel Farage distanced himself from UKIP after Gerard Batten (the then UKIP Leader) openly courted Tommy Robinson, whose followers were largely right wing and more than a bit rowdy. But Tommy Robinson's following is growing, however, following the government's lack of action over the grooming gangs. In a recent video on YT Nigel Farage referred to the grooming gangs and what they've actually done, which is so dreadful he recommended that people shouldn't watch. The grooming gang reporting first appeared in the late 1990's and the Conservative party had ample time to do something about it but they too have pushed it under the carpet, some say because people in the public eye are involved.

I'm listening to jaybee's Tommy Robinson telephone call and can feel his angst. Fingers crossed that the growing public interest will have a positive effect, although it didn't do much for Julian Assange.

It's going to be up to Tommy Robinson himself (again) to be the more Statesman like figure and smooth out the growing divide between Reform UK and those who 'follow' him.... he said recently that his supporters should stick with Reform UK - and he understood that because of the demonization of himself politicians felt like they had to keep their distance (words to that effect...) ....

It was strange that Nigel Farage advised against reading reports about the abuse... you would think it would be the other way round - that the facts should be exposed to get to the bottom of the whole dreadful business...
I still support Nigel and Reform UK but it was naïve (or disingenuous) of Nigel to dismiss what's happening by saying it was contempt of court that got him put in prison - as if that made it ok...Assange was persecuted for false rape allegations as a forerunner to his incarceration in Belmarsh Prison and he was tortured with solitary confinement as well... Trump has been dragged through the courts a few times over nothing as well... and they are even saying now that he will be sentenced before he takes up office over the stupid 'hush money' thing...

This is all divide and rule at it's 'finest' and I think we have to be careful not to fall into any traps regarding that...

TR has been so demonized that the Establishment must hope whatever he says will be dismissed as nutty 'far right wing' racist agitation..... and what he said about his new documentary and some leading labour politicians possibly (allegedly) being involved in child exploitation ... well... you can see why 'they' are desperate to demonize him and at the same time use divide and rule when it comes to trying to curtail the rise of Reform UK... Nigel is probably playing a bit of a numbers game when it comes to TR because I heard somewhere that he was working with the figure of 11% of people showing positive support for TR.... which leaves (allegedly) 89% who don't....

A Reform UK Think Tank has probably decided that the Party stands to lose more support by showing sympathy for TR... than throwing him under the bus...and because of the demonization they are probably right!

Race relations is a delicate business but 2 tier policing, covering up stuff and imprisoning law abiding people for 'saying things' isn't going to help... in the long run...

Tommy has commented on Nigel Farage's latest remarks - from prison - and even though he (TR) speaks strongly he is still..STILL measured in his response.... obviously he is very upset about it all as well he might be especially, as he says, he is in no position to defend himself - everyone is particularly upset about the false accusations of violence against women...and Nigel may have to make a public apology about that at some point in the not too distant future...

It's a good job Reform UK has a long time before facing the electorate again because this episode is damaging - Farage and Tice need to put this right somehow and stop doubling down on the whole thing - (IMO)

The propaganda machine against both Farage and Robinson must be giddy with delight but also wary of taking sides with either one of them... doing a balancing act where they endeavour to make the Uni~Party and the Globalist Establishmnet the winners of all this.... it is my opinion that all those who want to see the Uni~Party stripped of it's dominance have also got to do a balancing act with this ... keep calm and carry on....

Farage is a skilful politician but after the Christmas break seems to be veering in a direction (re TR) that is not helpful - the saying.....'when you're in a hole, stop digging...' comes to mind - there is no evidence for it but my intuition tells me that Farage may be pretty pissed off with this latest row (involving not just TR but Elon Musk as well)... and might be tempted to step down.... let's see how this plays out...

Jordan Peterson's change of body language at 1:43 was surprising - wondering if he had any input with Elon Musk - but Mohammed Hijab says openly that he's taking five different people to court in the UK alone for defamation, one of whom is Tommy Robinson, plus other cases in Europe and other parts of the world. He goes on to say this demonstrates the strength of the Muslim community.

Tommy Robinson was sentenced to 18 months in October 2024. As it's common to give early release for good behaviour (and reports say he's been in solitary confinement [for his own safety] all this time) he could be eligible for release in April 2025. Let's hope so.
