The Real Story of the Epstein files. Epstein was roaming free and being a criminal until new attention was brought to his case. This was due to me, via my media company (Cerno Films) suing to unseal files. Later the Miami Herald joined the cause, and to be honest, if they hadn't, my work would most likely have been in vain, as corrupt federal judges could have slow rolled me. Much harder to do that to the Herald.

Last week there was much drama and gnashing of teeth by people who, last I checked, never did anything other than engagement farm off of others' serious legal work. The initial batch of the Epstein files were unsealed via a procedural move my lawyer Marc Randazza thought up. It was expensive as hell and Marco was generous with cutting me slack. Even so, EXPENSIVE.

This backstory matters, because if you were not there at the time, you don't really understand the timeline of events.

We were able to unseal CIVIL files in a lawsuit involving Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein. We were not able to unseal the CRIMINAL files, those were held God knows where.

Once it became obvious that the civil files would be unsealed, Jeffrey Epstein was arrested.

On July 3, 2019, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals issued its ruling siding with us.

Jeffrey Epstein was arrested on July 9, 2019.

We documented the case contemptuously. There's no "hindsight" bias. You can check the dates of the posts belows.

No one has a better understanding of the Epstein case than I do. Not that this should be some contest. Others have really said some nasty stuff.

Ask to see their posts and videos from 2019. Ask to see how much work they put in to get the files unsealed. You'll find out that there wasn't much of anything done by the people yelling at me.

The criminal case against Jeffrey Epstein was a containment operation.

Epstein had to be charged for something. DOJ and especially SNDY policy is to go to the throat. They overcharge people. You push maximum allegations for maximum leverage.

Epstein was charged for comparatively low-level conduct. I'm not downplaying it, so don't try to spin that into something it's not. Read the indictment, which I'll link to it below. SNDY did the bare minimum necessary, which goes against their usual standard operating procedure of going for the neck.

Epstein was NOT CHARGED for taking people like Reid Hoffman and Bill Gates to his island. He wasn't charged for running an international sex trafficking ring. He was charged for less than 1% of what he was responsible for.

Why would Epstein charged with so little, given the volume of evidence against him?


While SNDY issues press releases, no one but me read the indictment. I wrote at the time, "The Epstein indictment charges the minimal amount of conduct. No mention of the trips powerful people took to his private island."

This was deliberate.

By limiting the indictment to massages in Epstein's NYC apartment, the Island, the West Palm Beach house, the New Mexico house, and the Paris property could be mopped up.

Epstein had multiple properties around the country and the world.

While all of the attention was on NYC, there were reports about boats being seen off the shoreline of the Pedo Island. People were seen removing the infamous vault that Epstein kept on the island.

Who was it? Where did it go? Nobody knows.

SDNY, when asked why they hadn't raided the other homes, said that they didn't have jurisdiction over the other properties. This is laughable to anyone who knows how SDNY usually rolls. They'll take jurisdiction over your mom's social security check, because they can and you can't do anything about it.

SDNY, known for prosecutorial overreach, suddenly decided to do as little as possible in one of the most significant prosecutions in its history.

How does that make any sense?

The real Epstein files are in some intelligence vault, somewhere.

Much had been made about how I am somehow "Mossad" now, because I made the point, in 2019 (!) that the real Epstein files were mopped up, and have tried to manage people's expectations.

This makes no sense because in 2019, no one else but me was making the point that the files were being hidden and destroyed in real time.

I was SCREAMING about this.

What does SDNY and the FBI currently have?

I don't think it's much. They'll have files relating to the 2019 SNDY case against Epstein.

The real files are hidden in some place that even Kash Patel doesn't have access to.

I really appreciate the shout-outs and Ian’s kind words about my book, but there are some things I don’t think were portrayed necessarily accurately about my work, both regarding Epstein and otherwise, and I think I should take the time to clarify those things. I’m not looking to cast shade on anyone with this clarification, just that I think I am the most qualified person to represent my own work and when other people do it, not on my behalf but their own, it can sometimes lead to misconceptions.

My interest is ultimately in my work being accurately conveyed, particularly to large audiences. Obviously the best way to understand my book is to read it, but many who watch the Rogan podcast, for example, won’t. I would happily make these clarifications on Rogan’s platform or another platform of similar size if I ever got invited.

One thing I’d like to clarify is that my books do not make the claim that “Epstein was Mossad,” the book instead argues that Epstein was an important part of a network – though arguably middle management – for a group composed of transgenerational organized crime interests (most of whom are the remnant of the Jewish mob component of the National Crime Syndicate and who promote ethno-fascist policies including via their ethnically focused philanthropy, among other activities) and major factions within both American and Israeli intelligence. They are not synonymous with either intelligence agency but arguably dominate the leadership of those intelligence agencies.

Evidence for Epstein’s ties to Israeli intelligence links him with Israeli military intelligence as opposed to Mossad, which are different parts of the Israeli intelligence apparatus (For example, it would be like confusing the DIA with the CIA). However, as noted above, Epstein was ultimately working for a network that greatly influences and exerts significant control over both the US and Israel (among other places) and that network is more loyal to itself than any one nation and also involves multiple intelligence agencies. While many people do casually use Mossad as a catch-all term for Israeli intelligence, I don’t agree with that and not making the accurate distinction creates an opening for dishonest actors to discredit the work that I and others have done on this topic when not framed properly.

Another thing I’d like to clarify is the implication that my historical reporting on the Epstein case is commendable, while my more current reporting on technocracy is significantly less so. My book on Epstein concludes with an entire chapter discussing how Epstein became irrelevant and thus expendable because the union of Big Tech with the intelligence apparatus, particularly those intelligence agencies most corrupted by the “Epstein network”, with a major focus on the national security contractor Palantir and its co-founder Peter Thiel.

While Ian is an admitted fan of my book, the reporting on technocracy that he describes as more of a turn-off for most than my Epstein book is actually in the book on Epstein itself and is arguably the main conclusion as it related to the present, from the book. There, I note that Palantir is the privatization and recreation of a nefarious neocon project developed by top figures from the Iran-Contra scandal and how tools like it, and its Unit 8200-developed equivalents from Israel, have amassed so much information on us and can also plant false or incriminating evidence on one’s devices without their knowledge, have made the type of sex blackmail ops once practiced by Epstein and other figures mentioned in the book no longer needed or relevant.

I am not sure if Ian has discussed Thiel or Palantir very much (I don’t believe he has but may be wrong on that), but a lot of my concerns about technocracy and the current administration are intimately related to both and those concerns are very well documented in One Nation Under Blackmail (which was published even before the official confirmation of Thiel-Epstein meetings). Of course, Peter Thiel’s errand boy now being Vice President of the US and the many Thiel or Palantir-adjacent figures in this administration make this not politically expedient to point out, particularly if the views you publicly propagate involve claiming that the current administration is a major departure from the Epstein network, which I argue – in my book as well as today – that it is likely not.

In that same vein, I think it is important to push back as nicely as possible on Ian’s suggestion that the Erik Prince “unplugged” phone seems to be a good investment for those concerned about illegal surveillance. While Ian has since described that as an “off-handed” comment and that he hasn't researched the phone, I think both he and everyone should know the following.

Prince has a close relationship with and hired the Unit 8200 alumnus and co-founder of the Epstein and Thiel-funded (and Ehud Barak-chaired) Carbyne911, which seeks to harvest as much data off of your phone as possible when you call 911 and feed the same pre-crime paradigm with that data that Palantir is also seeking to develop (Carbyne is discussed in my book as well). With this woman (her name is Lital Leshem), Prince has developed a very suspect company to funnel technology and products developed by foreign military/intelligence (in this case, Israel) to the US military, creating a loophole for acquisition of what would normally be forbidden products for the US military. In addition, the “unplugged” phone itself was also developed by Unit 8200 almuni. This is significant as Israel has an admitted policy of using companies created by “former” Unit 8200 operatives as fronts for activities Unit 8200 and Mossad once conducted “in house”. For anyone concerned about sex blackmail, Israeli intelligence espionage and/or pre-crime, stay as far away from this phone as possible. Sources for some of the points made above are contained in reporting that I published after my book came out, so I will post those links below.

To conclude, I am more than happy to and very capable of representing my own work to any audience, and when other people try to represent my work instead of me, even if well-intentioned, it can lead to misconceptions about me, my work and my conclusions and I think it is well within reason for me to do my best to ensure that my work is portrayed as accurately as possible.

Personally, I somewhat agree with Loomer that Bondi may be the first to go (be replaced) in the Trump Administration.

Her first real action as AG she blatantly and purposely lied to the American people pertaining to these Epstein files, she failed to do her job on day one so to speak.

I also believe Cash Patel made a huge mistake claiming he would make the Epstein files public (and make arrests).

Personally, I think for Bondi and Patel to choose this "Epstein" battle the hill to die on so to speak is a HUGE mistake. This whole thing is way beyond trafficking minor boys and girls for sex, blackmail, and powerful people being involved. I honestly believe that this whole "secret" is so demonic and diabolical that the average human mind wouldn't believe the truth about it anyways. Many would vomit learning the real truth but most would just laugh in disbelief.

Those that would believe the demonic acts and the sickening truth behind what is really going on would demand public executions over this. I'm sure Bondi now knows this and she put herself between a rock and hard place over this matter. Patel is somewhat in the same position.

The best Patel and Bondi can really do about this is to make a few "lesser arrests" and at least show the public they are trying to make an effort to hold someone accountable.

The truth about the "Epstein Files" will never fully EVER be made public in my opinion.

I would imagine that anyone, including Bondi and Patel ( or Trump himself for that matter) who makes a move toward actually exposing the Epstein files would be subjected to terrifying threats and attacks from implicated parties.
Parties who are both capable and ruthless enough to follow through with those threats, up to and including the deadliest and most radical.
Clearly the Trump Admin. is going to have to work a lot harder to strengthen their position before they are ready to take on that challenge.
Bluster will not be nearly enough to get the job done.
But it would be a good thing if they learned that NOW before making any similar blunders.
...Unless...the blunder is all just a ruse, they actually have the files, and are biding their time and working behind the scenes instead of openly, in order to keep the guilty parties guessing.
But I think that's really too much to hope for.

I have never heard Trump and Epstein described as "besties" before.
But Wolff must have had quite a good relationship with Epstein himself if he was granted over 100 hours of interview time with him! And Epstein apparently backed him generously in a business deal.
I'm not a fan of Trump, but this journalist doesn't look credible, though he has done well for himself by printing quite a bit of salacious material, mostly left wing oriented.
I think he had better have some good proof of all these conversations with Epstein, though Epstein could hardly be called a credible source either.
I think it will be a good while before we know if any of Epstein's/Wolff's allegations are factual.

In 2004, when New York magazine's owners, Primedia Inc., put the magazine up for sale, Wolff helped assemble a group of investors, including New York Daily News publisher Mortimer Zuckerman, Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, and financier Jeffrey Epstein to back him in acquiring the magazine.[20][21][22] Although the group believed it had made a successful bid, Primedia decided to sell the magazine to the investment banker Bruce Wasserstein.[23][22]

In the fall of 1998, Wolff published a book, Burn Rate, which recounted the details of the financing, positioning, personalities, and ultimate breakdown of Wolff's start-up Internet company, Wolff New Media. The book became a bestseller. In its review of Wolff's book Burn Rate, Brill's Content criticized Wolff for "apparent factual errors" and said that 13 people, including subjects he mentioned, complained that Wolff had "invented or changed quotes".[13]

In a 2004 cover story for The New Republic, Michelle Cottle wrote that Wolff was "uninterested in the working press," preferring to focus on "the power players—the moguls" and was "fixated on culture, style, buzz, and money, money, money." She also noted that "the scenes in his columns aren’t recreated so much as created—springing from Wolff’s imagination rather than from actual knowledge of events," calling his writing "a whirlwind of flourishes and tangents and asides that often stray so far from the central point that you begin to wonder whether there is a central point."[24]

Siege: Trump under Fire (2019)
Wolff's book, Siege: Trump Under Fire, was released on June 4, 2019. In it he claims that the Justice Department had drafted indictment documents against Trump in March 2018, accusing him of three criminal counts relating to interfering with a pending investigation and witness tampering. Special Counsel Robert Mueller is reported to have sat on these draft indictments for a year before deciding that Justice Department policy would prevent such an indictment.[42] "The documents described do not exist," Mueller spokesman Peter Carr said, referring to the purported three-count charging document against Trump.[43]

Landslide (2021)
Landslide: The Final Days of the Trump Presidency, his third book about Trump, was published in 2021.[44]

All or Nothing (2025)
All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America, an account of the Trump 2024 presidential campaign, was published in February 2025.[45]

While being interviewed during Fire and Fury's publicity tour, Wolff said he was "absolutely sure" President Trump was having an affair and suggested on two occasions that his partner was Nikki Haley, the United States Ambassador to the United Nations.[46][47] Haley denied Wolff's allegations, calling them "disgusting". Erik Wemple of The Washington Post said that Wolff was engaging in a "remarkable multimedia slime job".[48] Bari Weiss in The New York Times said that Wolff was "gleefully" spreading "evidence-free detail".[49] On February 25, 2018, Wolff was interviewed by Ben Fordham on the Australian morning show Today, where he was asked about his claim that Trump was having an affair behind Melania Trump's back.[50] Wolff stated that he couldn't hear the question, prompting Fordham to repeat it and eventually asking "you're not hearing me, Mr. Wolff?" to which Wolff replied, "no, I'm not getting anything", before removing his ear piece and walking off the set.[51] Both Fordham and the Today show later tweeted a video that included the audio from the ear piece which revealed that the question could be heard.[52] Days earlier, after being pressed about the rumor in a college press tour interview, Wolff stated "I do not know if the president is having an affair" and added "this is the last thing I say about it".[53]

The Columbia Journalism Review criticized Wolff in 2010 for suggesting that The New York Times was aggressively covering the breaking News International phone hacking scandal as a way of attacking News Corporation chairman Rupert Murdoch.[54] The Guardian criticized Wolff's book Too Famous for the way it portrayed controversial celebrities including Steve Bannon, Jeffrey Epstein, and Christopher Hitchens.[55]

Several people have denied quotes published in Fire and Fury. These people include Tom Barrack, Tony Blair, Katie Walsh, and Anna Wintour.[56][57][58] Sean Hannity also denied that he let Donald Trump review questions before interviewing him.[56]

Columnist David Brooks questioned Wolff's credibility since Wolff has been known to not check his facts. Brooks expressed doubts about Wolff's journalistic methods and conveyed skepticism over the accuracy of Fire and Fury.[59]

The View host Meghan McCain criticized Wolff for publishing an off-the-record conversation with Roger Ailes in Fire and Fury.[60][61]

Journalist Steven Rattner referred to Wolff as an "unprincipled writer of fiction."[62]

Alan Dershowitz criticized Wolff's book Siege: Trump Under Fire, calling it fiction. Wolff wrote in the book that Dershowitz had a dinner with Donald Trump at the White House to discuss the possibility of representing him. However Dershowitz claimed this dinner never happened.[63]

PolitiFact writer Angie Drobnic Holan noted that Fire and Fury contains several factual errors, including that Trump did not know who John Boehner was in 2016 (Trump had tweeted about Boehner in 2015) and that Wilbur Ross was Trump's choice for US Secretary of Labor (rather than Secretary of Commerce).[64]

Some questioned Wolff using Sam Nunberg as a source in Fire and Fury since Nunberg had admitted to fabricating a story about Chris Christie in the past.[65]

Who is Peter Mandelson, Starmer’s pick for U.S. ambassador?

From his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein to amassing a web of corporate interests, can Labour’s “prince of darkness” be trusted in Washington?

Peter Mandelson, Keir Starmer’s choice for British ambassador to the US, co-owns a business that helps companies “see opportunities in politics, regulation and public policy”.

Mandelson, who has a long history of favouring corporations in often scandalous situations, looks set to keep his shares in this company while supposedly representing the UK.

He founded his lobbying company, Global Counsel, in 2010, creating a lucrative business from his political contacts built up while a minister under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown.

Mandelson stood down from Global Counsel’s board last year – probably in preparation for a post with Starmer’s government – but remains one of the two largest shareholders of the firm, owning over 25% of the company.

According to Companies House he is a “person with significant control” of Global Counsel.

I asked the Foreign Office if Mandelson must give up his ownership of Global Counsel to be ambassador.

They did not answer directly, telling me: “There is an established regime in place for the management of interests held by ambassadors or High Commissioners. This ensures that steps are taken to avoid or mitigate any actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest.”

The Foreign Office would not give any more detail of this “regime”.

The Jeffrey Epstein connection

Mandelson had to leave Cabinet twice because of scandals about relations with businessmen. But his most scandalous association with a businessman was revealed long after he left government.

US financier Jeffrey Epstein mixed his business dealings with trafficking. Emails between Epstein and US bank JP Morgan show he was close to Mandelson.

In 2009 Epstein emailed JP Morgan bankers boasting about their friendship, saying “Well for all intends [sic] and purposes Peter Mandelson is now deputy prime minister.”

Mandelson seemed willing to overlook Epstein’s offences to be close to a financial ‘mover and shaker’.
