    A very clear figure of a sasquatch hiding in some brush as Les Straud inadvertently captures the image on film.
    Very clear.
    I kind of jumped when I saw it.

    Wow! Very interesting discussion on the 'other dimension' aspects of big foot sightings, telepathic connections between all beings, including between humans and animals.

    Wow!! If that's an actual Forest Service notice — is it?? — that has to be very highly significant. (I had to check that the 'Banana Slug' is a real thing, and indeed it is.) To publish something like this on an official notice (if indeed, this is real) seems to confirm that the Forest Service knows ALL ABOUT these creatures — as I'm sure they do.

    I'm having a hard time with this sign as well but have found more than one warning sign purportedly from the the Forest service on the internet, mostly in Washington and Oregon. There are so many sightings and encounters in that area maybe making this a legitimate sign or maybe something to entice tourists to actually camp there. I had a bit of trouble with the last line ..."capable of pitching an 82 mph pinecone"! Sounds like something from a meme. Still, I noticed there are a couple of different signs that have been posted in the area going back to 2018 I think.

    Maybe someone who lives in the area can attest to its validity or not ... or this can be deleted.

    Bigfoot Proof…Verified Body Stolen by Authorities in 1969 (Minnesota Iceman)

    Cabin in the Woods
    Feb7, 2025

    In 1968, two respected scientists examined a frozen Sasquatch body—the Minnesota Iceman—and declared it real. Shortly after, the original specimen mysteriously vanished, reportedly confiscated by authorities and replaced with a replica. What really happened? Was this the closest the world ever came to undeniable proof of Bigfoot?
    This video dives deep into the history, evidence, and controversy surrounding the Minnesota Iceman. We'll break down the firsthand accounts of zoologists Ivan T. Sanderson and Dr. Bernard Heuvelmans, who studied the body in detail, documenting injuries, muscle striations, and decay that would have been impossible to fake in the 1960s. We’ll also explore the suspicious circumstances of its disappearance and why some believe it was part of a larger effort to suppress Sasquatch evidence.
    With corroborating reports from law enforcement, rangers, and other credible witnesses, the case of the Minnesota Iceman fits a disturbing pattern of secrecy when it comes to Bigfoot. Could this be the smoking gun that was covered up? Watch and decide for yourself.

    Excellent, thanks — I'd bet everything I own that's real. It's actually very much like 'Patty', the famous Bigfoot in the Patterson-Gimlin film. MUST SEE.

    I would bet this is authentic too. It appears and moves very similar to the one me and my best friend at the time seen in 1981. Except the one we seen was extremely up close and personal. It stepped right out on the road in front of us in broad daylight. I had to slam on the brakes and skidded off into the ditch so as not to hit it. It was no farther than 35ft from us when I finally stopped/ditched the car and I was so freaked out and scared that I thought my heart was going to explode out of my chest. It was just standing there looking at us for about a few seconds and then turned and walked off at an incredible speed. It was so huge it could of easily picked my car up and flipped it over, it could of easily killed us, that I am absolutely sure of. It was a giant built so muscular, I could easily see rock solid muscles throughout its whole body flex when it turned and walked away. When it turned to look at us I turned my head right before making eye contact with it. I was death afraid to make eye contact with it, I honestly thought it was going to kill us. I slightly remember seeing its face, it was very human like, more human like than ape like. It had hair growing like off its cheek bones but I remember seeing dark skin on it's face. It easily stepped over a 10ft ditch and walked at a fast pace up a hill through a corn field and covered a half an acre in seconds before it was out of sight. It was late July or August and the corn was about full grown so this thing was easily 11 or 12ft tall. It was swinging it's arms while walking like in this guys video clip except its arms were up in a higher way knocking the corn stalks out of its way while walking. Another strange thing that stands out after all these years is when it was walking away it never bounced or walked human like, it honestly looked like it was on a fast moving big escalator or conveyer belt. It walked so smooth like that it looked like it was gliding. I've been through a lot in my life but I do believe I've never been this scared before.
    I still occasionally talk to the guy that was with me that day and even now he will still not talk about this. He will immediately change the subject and make it clear to me he does not want to talk about what we seen that day. I honestly believe he did make eye contact with it was even more scared than I was, which is hard to believe because I was petrified!

    ADDED: Another reason I think this clip is authentic:
    If you watch this creature closely in the clip while it's walking you'll see it's head doesn't bounce up and down hardly at all, almost as if its stride remains perfectly level at all times. I know what I seen was absolutely real and that is one thing that really stands out to me even after about 45 years, their stride remains almost perfectly level, even at an extremely fast pace.

    Correction: I just walked around my property with a tape measure and measured some out buildings here trying to get a more accurate height of the bigfoot creature I seen about 45 years ago. I think it was more like 10 to 10-1/2 feet tall. (kind of hard remembering things from so long ago).

    Thank you so much for sharing this most remarkable event!!

    It immediately reminded me of this 2017 post, also on this thread, by retired member and former moderator Kristin, which you may not have seen. Do read the account of her whole experience, which spanned several days. Here's a small extract as a sample, describing her face-to-face encounter with the giant hairy creature — in her garden.

    ~~~
    I froze. I KNEW what this was, however, what do I do?!! I was caught between fear, intrigue, and panic. I put my hands out, palms up, in a gesture of supplication. The beast was only five feet away from me. That was all, just a bush between me and it. I tried to focus on its mass, but it was so huge my mind seemingly could not comprehend. It was distorted. This made me feel like I was going mad. There was a massive distortion very much like from the movie Predator when cloaked or when you look at a landscape on a very hot day and it gets all wavy.
    I walked backwards back up the path and started talking. Yes, talking. I jabbered on and on about how "I don't mind sharing my garden, hope you're having a good day, the river is beautiful isn't it?" As I walked backwards I found myself walking backwards into my garden and nearly fell. I looked down at the three healthy rows of bush beans and said out loud, "You can help yourself to these beans!"
    Isn't that fascinating though - the human propensity to do that... Why would he want to avoid it? I get it, at the time it was terrifying. But this was probably the stand-out experience of his life -- encountering a mythical creature that 'officially' doesn't exist. If it was me, I wouldn't stop talking about it
    And I do have some experience here -- not with cryptids, the abduction phenomenon, where the fear-factor is off the scale. But I was never afraid to discuss it with those who wanted to listen. It seems to me, the refusal to talk about it (with your friend for instance) is indicative of ontological shock. Even after all this time, he hasn't completely processed it, and is still in the stage of denial. In fact, I suspect there are tons of people out there who have seen a cryptid, a ghost, a UFO, a leprechaun or whatever, but to keep their comfortable reality intact choose to keep silent, pretending it never happened.
This made me feel like I was going mad. There was a massive distortion very much like from the movie Predator when cloaked or when you look at a landscape on a very hot day and it gets all wavy.
    I walked backwards back up the path and started talking. Yes, talking. I jabbered on and on about how "I don't mind sharing my garden, hope you're having a good day, the river is beautiful isn't it?" As I walked backwards I found myself walking backwards into my garden and nearly fell. I looked down at the three healthy rows of bush beans and said out loud, "You can help yourself to these beans!"
    I'm 99.9% sure these are living breathing Earth creatures; mammals. I was so close to it I could actually see it breathing, and like I said in my previous post, I could see its unbelievable muscle structure.
    How they have remained so evasive over the centuries is beyond me. But then again, an American panther is extremely evasive too.
    I seen this thing squatted down along side of the road at a distance ahead of me at first and thought it was a huge black bear. It just appeared to be a big black blob at first and I told my buddy "Look, a bear! and I stomped on the gas and was speeding towards it to get a better look at it. When I got closer to it is when it stood up like a man and stepped on to the road. That's when I about crapped my pants and started to skid the car to stop from hitting it. I was expecting a bear and for it to run into the woods instead of a being huge two legged monster stepping onto the road! This thing towered above my car and was as wide as my car!
    My mind had a hard time comprehending what I was seeing as it was nothing like a bear except for being black and hairy. We were so close to it the feeling of horror, helplessness, and just plain being so vulnerable to it was over-whelming. Plus I was stuck in the ditch and just couldn't drive off. It was absolutely horrifying! I remember at the time thinking for a split second that I had a 20 gauge shotgun in my trunk but knew even that would be useless against this thing, besides, I was not about to make any fast moves to provoke this thing let alone get out of the car. It was actually standing right off the drivers side of the car and was so huge a couple of steps and it would of been on top of me!
    I do wonder why it stepped out onto the road and decided to cross the road into a corn field to when it could of easily just headed back into the woods on the side of the road where it was sitting or squatting down.
    After it was out of sight and gone, I had to drive like a maniac back and forth about 50 times or more (not exaggerating) to get enough speed and traction to drive up out of that ditch I was in. I must of went through a half a tank of gas too! LOL
    It felt like a lifetime trying to drive out of that ditch because we were both scared to death that thing was going to come back!
    I still occasionally talk to the guy that was with me that day and even now he will still not talk about this. He will immediately change the subject and make it clear to me he does not want to talk about what we seen that day.
    Isn't that fascinating though - the human propensity to do that... Why would he want to avoid it? I get it, at the time it was terrifying. But this was probably the stand-out experience of his life -- encountering a mythical creature that 'officially' doesn't exist. If it was me, I wouldn't stop talking about it
    And I do have some experience here -- not with cryptids, the abduction phenomenon, where the fear-factor is off the scale. But I was never afraid to discuss it with those who wanted to listen. It seems to me, the refusal to talk about it (with your friend for instance) is indicative of ontological shock. Even after all this time, he hasn't completely processed it, and is still in the stage of denial. In fact, I suspect there are tons of people out there who have seen a cryptid, a ghost, a UFO, a leprechaun or whatever, but to keep their comfortable reality intact choose to keep silent, pretending it never happened.
    I've never spoke about it either except only to a couple of people in almost 45 years. I am not sure why but it was really one of the most traumatic and horrifying experiences of my life. Besides, most would find it just a made up fairy tale anyways.
    It was even hard to post about it, but I know many here on this forum are open minded and quite understanding towards the oddities of life and reality.
    I do find it a bit odd as my friend refuses to talk about it with me. It must of really traumatized him and broke his mind so to speak. It in a way, it somewhat broke my mind too.
    This creature is like something like you would read about in Greek mythology or the Epic of Gilgamesh, not something in todays world that would jump out in front of you while driving down the road!
    This is an off-topic aside purely on this denial factor...
    In my early 30's staying at a friends place for a couple of nights. One evening, close to midnight I think, Graham saw a light flashing around the kitchen window. (Room next door to where we were in living room).
    He immediately went and opened the front door to confront whoever might be walking down the private road - then he just stood there blocking the view saying nothing. Finally he said, "Ewan, come and have a look at this a moment!" and stepped to one side.
    There was something up above us, moving slowly across the field. I want to say it is huge but really don't know as there was no way to guage elevation. What was very obvious was the total absence of sound. There were no lights on the, I presume, craft. You noted the movement from the few stars being revealed as it moved onwards. We watched until it disappeared over the trees some 200m-240m's distance which marked the boundary to the next field. This all took place in Somerset countryside.
    Several years later he was visiting me in Thailand and as I recounted the story to a very open-minded friend of mine he grew uncomfortable, claiming he could barely remember the event and brushed it off as probably nothing. He chose to forget, it was easier for him to process it the way. I am still as curious now as I was then.
    Steve Isdahl is posting a video today, coming from a canadian military helicopter with night vision camera, if I understand his ramblings right
    The short video of a sasquatch/ sabe walking through a forest starts at 31:45
    I saw a bigfoot several years back and that's exactly how it moved, just like in the Patterson/Gimlin footage. The detail in this video is astounding, especially considering the quality, but I'm with Bill that I would bet everything it's real. They have a strength and power in their appearance, but also a fluidity and grace that no human could emulate. Just watching how fast it moves through those woods should be convincing enough for any skeptic. I spend hours a day hiking in the forest around my home, and I'm pretty fit, but there's no way I could ever keep up with that Bigfoot.
    Thank you all for your personal experiences.
    Regarding the mysterious FIR-footage, I found another channel posting it, just as Steve Isdahl having waited four years for permission, that is, A Flash of Beauty:
    He did some research into the origins, and ended up with an original supplier gone dark, a production company with matching date on FIR-footage for a diffrent subject and the probable explanation for how this all came about.
    Kind of hoax not hoax but more like unused footage in the wrong hands.
    Hopefully the "Sabe" was well paid and the real Sabes may feel a little guilty of inspiring this, as they are very shy and avoid cameras ...
    As opposed to the last sensational video of Sasquatch, Steve Isdahl got another one that is probably genuine and natural.
    It is still not debunked (two days) and we have more on the origin.
    A lady named Tissy posted it to Steve and stated that her brother was scouting in the winter close to a creek or waterway, and took a video with his old phone of a supposedly Sasquatch family.
    The actual footage starts at 32:16 min.
    In his posting today, he is getting an email from her, confirming the details and stating that the family is more or less walking in the water.
    All bets are off, and enjoy.
