I went to the euro site. They don't mention self medication anywhere in their blurb. That's understandable but it leaves me in the dark about how to use it.

As it reads, it doesn't seem to need acid activation. If it's a gas I don't understand how they make it into a white powder.

Do I seem confused ?

Hey Norman, that works for me is to divide the liter/quart by five, add one part to a dropper bottle or other container and add one tablet. It can be used for health issues the same way you would use the the kind you are familiar with.

To make the 'old kind' they use the dry form of the two ingredients and mix them with water.

This is both ingredients combined in the tablet, they only activate when added to water. I use 5 tablets in the liter/quart spray bottle.

I had a flood in the house a couple of weeks ago. I was very happy to have this to spray everywhere it flooded to keep mold away. I read years ago it is used in flooded buildings, meat packing plants and butcher shops, hospitals and more.

I like using the tablet form because it lasts much longer. In the past the mixed solution stored even in the refrigerator will break down to saltwater if left for too long a time.

Looking at their site, one of the pages shows both front and back of one of their packages, and on the back it listed ingredients as "sodium chlorite, activator, stabilizer".

• The "sodium chlorite" is the powder that can be used to make MMS, by dissolving it in water.
  
• The "activator" would be a mild acid powder, which dissolves in water.
  
• The "stabilizer" would be something that holds the above two powders together in a solid pill form, but that dissolves in water into something that doesn't react chemically.

From the mixture ratios I saw there for one usage, if my back of the envelope calculations were about right, then one tablet in one ounce of water should yield about one ounce of 3,000 PPM (parts per million) chlorine dioxide solution (CDS), which you could use by the various CDS protocols available, such as in Andreas Kalcker's wonderful book "Forbidden Health".

To answer your original question directly, the acidification happens when you dissolve the tablet in water ... for the acid, as a water soluble powder, is already in the tablet, along with the sodium chlorite. The end result, chlorine dioxide gas in solution in water, is not in the original tablet as a gas. Rather it's the chemical reaction of two powders, sodium chlorite and some acidic powder, when dissolved together in water, that produces the chlorine dioxide gas, also dissolved in the water.

Now I've discovered my backup liquid MMS kit is decomposing, as Franny told me it would, I just tried to make an order at the France safrax site and ran into a payment process/verification brick wall. The problem isn't with safrax it's with my bank and it's security protocol that requires that they send a temporary verification code to my "phone". The only phone I have is a landline. I tried that number. The phone didn't ring so I didn't get the verification number and couldn't complete the process.

FAIL.

Now I'm in a bit of a panic because I thought I had plenty of MMS and now I know I need a replacement stock fast.

Can someone suggest a source that doesn't involve all that bloody infuriating cyber and smart phone bullsht. Ebay was my saving grace last time but ebay booted the seller I got it from and I haven't found an alternative there since.

The companies for several of my purchases since 2018 on Amazon and elsewhere are no longer available. I’m still using the drops I got about 3-4 years ago from another site that now reports “can’t find server”. If there’s evaporation, it’s slow.

The last time I replenished my MMS stash was in October and November, 2023. I keep them in the refrigerator. I wasn’t aware that it decomposes. So I check those back ups and sure enough about 15%-20% of each bottle it has evaporated. It’s available @ Amazon or on their Crystal Clear Lab site.

Me neither. I may have missed something here... how and why does it 'decompose'? (It's a mineral, not anything organic, so I'm a little puzzled.)

Maybe degrade in potency? Though I couldn't say why. My bottles still have the seal on them. They are 4 oz each and my guess is I'd never use them up.

I purchased extra in case the supply dwindle or got outlawed. The stash is for when family members come around to alternative methods.

(They've all been jabbed multiple times.)

So far as I know, the most stable, and most economical bulk method, of ensuring long term storage and availability of chlorine dioxide is keeping the dry sodium chlorite flakes and some form or other of common acidic powder such as used in making bread.

It took me a long time to work out a robust method, but now I am confident that I have enough quality chlorine dioxide solution (CDS) supplies stashed in my pantry to meet my needs for the rest of my life.

It is really a blessing having a couple of 500 ml glass jars of CDS always on hand in my refrigerator, and having a pleasantly easy method of replenishing those jars with another 250 ml or so of more CDS, anytime either jar gets down to less than half full.

Also, if one had a nasty puncture wound (say from a rusty nail) or a snake or spider bite, or a nasty burn, that might benefit from quickly applying plenty of topical CDS, perhaps with DMSO already blended in, it's great having it right there, ready to go, in quantity.

However, even sodium chlorite (NaClO₂) flakes, the critical ingredient above, are not perfectly stable and not perfectly safe.

Sodium chlorite flakes will slowly lose potency over the years. They are best stored in a cool environment, say around 65°F (18°C). It should be a dry environment, away from sunlight, in a tightly closed container. Solutions of NaClO₂ in water, such as are, or were, sold in the well known convenient pair of little squeezable plastic dropper bottles, are _less_ stable than the dry NaClO₂ flakes.

Also these NaClO₂ flakes are nasty in a fire; keep them away from flames and any boys who have just discovered the joys of playing with matches. I avoid storing larger bags of NaClO₂, as I've seen some nasty reports of the difficulties of handing a fire of the size and energy that such a quantity of NaClO₂ flakes can feed oxygen to. NaClO₂ flakes do not burn; rather they provide a rich source of oxygen to any fire that heats them sufficiently. Thus NaClO₂ flakes are a potent fire accelerant.

Iron is a mineral too ... which reacts with oxygen and rusts.

Sodium chlorite is "rusted NaCl salt": NaClO₂.

Sodium chlorite (NaClO₂) slowly (or with heat quickly) de-rusts, shedding its oxygen, leaving "common table salt" (NaCl, sodium chloride) behind. It's those two oxygen atoms, still bound with the (negatively charged but chemically neutral) chlorine ion, when making CDS by pulling off the Na sodium atom, that are the key payload that provides the potential benefits of CDS.

That's why it's called "chlorine dioxide". Each molecule of CDS has one chlorine and two oxygen atoms.

(So calling "MMS" a "mineral" is a bit of a misnomer. It's a solution of oxidized chlorine.)

Mark Grenon has been a missionary for 47 years and a pilot in Haiti, Dominican Republic, and Colombia.
