WHY did they believe so?

A few weeks ago, I read a YouTube comment by someone who said they'd been researching this in depth for a long time. This person reported that there's a hieroglyph in (I think) one of the Giza monuments, that translates as:

We cut with light and lift with sound.

I thought this diversion might be interesting. This is the new SpaceX orbital Launch mount, weighing 1,200 tons.

Here it is being moved VERY slowly just a couple of miles on three parallel SPMTs (self-propelled modular transporters). One might wonder how the ancient builders moved these giant stone blocks, some much heavier than even this, hundreds of miles over rough terrain where the only 'roads' were cart tracks for horses and donkeys.
