Mod note from Bill: (in explanation!)Posted by Bill Ryan (here)
@Ravenlocke
Would you mind to post along your links - when possible - some brief description, or even some explanation - why you post this.
We had in the past some lengthy discussion about the advantages/disadvantages of only posting links - one of the few being, the links may expire lateron.
Also it forces one to visit the link, before one knows what's all about.
So - PLEASE!
The issue here is that some members can't see embedded tweets/ X posts, and instead ONLY see the raw link and nothing else. It's sometimes a hassle, but it's always helpful if one can additionally copy the text (if there is any), which can make it easier for everyone.![]()
Let's up our standards and don't fall into the habit to turn PA in a referral only forum.
While I don't argue for the valuable provided source data - I welcome real discussion and offering of views.
[end of rant]

No problem, thanks for letting me know that and Thanks Bill as well.
The post is about Fairy-like beings called Patupaiarehe by the Maori in their mythology.
And the following video is a narration about these folklore beings.
Text:
In Maori mythology, patupaiarehe are the legendary fairy-like beings that live in the forests and mountains of New Zealand pre-dating the Maori arrival on the island. They were said to have pale skin, blonde or red hair, blue or green eyes.
