    Not here to pose, show
To prove, fight, eli minate wind mills
    But to win, hard, total

    To be serious, really serious,
And not force, but make them see,
    Is the pain of Good.

    Wake up! We are being

Destroyed by crooks no less, yea!

    In plain sight, yea! yeah!
Question Everything, always speak truth... Make the best of today, for there may not be a tomorrow!!! But, that's OK because tomorrow never comes, so we have nothing to worry about!!!

    Sang Christmas songs, choir, why
Most people held tears, memories, not happy.
    Long life beyond, short here.

    A huge butterfly
    Lay dying in my kitchen.
    I gathered him up

    With great care, and laid
Him in the warm morning light.
    He fluttered away,

    Revived by the sun.
Then a hungry bird grabbed him.
    But I scared it off,

    And the butterfly
    Flew off into the forest.
    He was free at last.

    New Year's arrived and
    Anticipation abounds.
    Much at stake this year
"Is there an idea more radical in the history of the human race than turning your children over to total strangers whom you know nothing about, and having those strangers work on your child's mind, out of your sight, for a period of twelve years?" John Taylor Gatto

    Overnight, at last
I caught the small mouse who'd been
    Raiding my larder.

    I felt so sorry.
    A beautiful small creature,
    Created by God,

    Fearful, his tiny
    Heart pounding, not knowing if
    He would live or die.

    I gently took him
To the forest, where I hoped
    He'd find a new life.

    Can we share our world
    With all of nature's beauty?
    I just cannot know.

    "As daft as a brush . . ."
    sounds nonsensical, until
    you add a few words:

    These words are surely
    "without any bristles", which
    makes better sense now?

    I've missed this Haiku
    thread! :) So here’s a fun report
    Of our hike today.

    A wet, wild morning —
    So we happily set out
    To battle the storm.

    In my Gore-Tex shell
I’m dry and warm; and Mara
    Has her thick fur coat.

    (A weatherproof dog,
    And all-terrain, too. Nothing
    Ever worries her.)

    I couldn’t see much,
And Mara nothing at all. :)
    But we were so glad

    To be able to
    Enjoy these wild high mountains
    As we always can.

    Back home safe and dry;
    A chicken lunch for Mara,
    Home-made soup for me.

    I hope SO much that
We can both still do this for
    Many years to come.

    Today, quite by chance
I met my friends on the road.
    My dog and I off

    For a mountain hike,
    While they were returning home.
    Such a tiny thing,

    But they were SO pleased
To see me, smiles and handshakes,
    High-fives and kind words.

    I’d not seen them for
Ten days, as they'd been up north
    For a mountain race.

    As you all may know,
    I live silently with my
    Quiet, solo thoughts.

    So when I met them,
Though briefly, I became blessed —
    No longer alone.

    [Solitude | Company] is nice,
Then one has too much which sucks.

    It's impossible

    NO LONGER ALONE

    In the quiet, still
or near still breeze of the breath
as it flows — am I

    Now and always, near
and far, here and there, is where
when and how — am I

    All that is, within
the eye which perceives, I dance
    with inside as we go

    'Round and 'round and 'round
    as one in the soft-glowing
    radiant moon light
