I read about 150 pages of the book, and it seemed extremely interesting.

After the first 80 pages, I was engulfed. Everything seemed plausible and the bible "translations" were certainly making a lot of sense.

However, there is something that didn't quite add up.
There is almost NO mention of any form of spirituality or soul evolution in the entire book (the first book).
Nothing.... As if, everything revolves around science and superiority of higher intelligence .... that was it.

Basically, according to the book, the essence of life can be explained in the following choice: whether mastering science will lead to progress or destruction.

    And that's ALL.

The sentence that made me stop reading was in the second book I think.
    And it went something like:

" As we explained, there is no God, and subsequently there is no soul. There is absolutely nothing after death, unless science is used to recreate it."

/and I'm sorry if this is inaccurate, but I am translating it from my native language/

The theory (at least what I gathered) is that, after death, the energy which had layed within your body is dispersed into the chaos of the universe, therefore destroying its sentience. I.E. => consciouss life ends with the death of the physical body, which can't possibly be true.

In the last section of the first book. when the being answers questions, the author begins to ask him about their civilization and way of life.
At this point, the creature describes a world without any kind of spirituality involved, only an extremely high level of technology: immortality, different forms of art, sports, relaxation. Basically - everyone in this world is allowed to do as they please, live as long as they want (according to their proper contributions to society). Freedom, no jails, no criminal activity, no forced labour... things like that.

A world based on physicallity and science.

I'm not sure that's what I want to believe in. However I will grant that a significant chunk of it might be true. And I do agree with the fact that the beings who created us also created religion as a method of control... but I do not believe that everything ends with death.

Perhaps the author was deliberately misinformed. Or, maybe I misunderstood...
Or maybe I read the wrong book :D Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd really like to see a piece of literature simirar to this, which makes COMPLETE sense and is worth reading.

I look forward to some recommedations, corrections etc.

Nobody knows if there is a God or not. Everybody who tells you that God exists or does not exist lies. His motive is to control you ( to get your money or labor and or vote). One can only 'believe' in a God.

    They are advocating GM food:

"Genetically modified crops are the key to human survival, says UK's
    chief scientist.
Sir John Beddington argues that moves to block GM crops on moral grounds
    are no longer sustainable..."

I remember that they advocated eternal life by storing your consciousness inside a machine...

Maybe this needs its own thread but Clif High shared this earlier. First I've heard of this! And I think it is for real. One or two eagle-eyed commentators have spotted the emblem on the UFO object (scroll down on the landing page). And this emblem is emblazoned on the outfit of an individual on one of the pages.

This isn't really breaking news but I've little idea at the moment where else to place this.

    ET Embassy Project

    Website here: https://etembassy.org/project/

The promotor: The International Raelian Movement
The International Raëlian Movement (IRM) was founded in 1974 as a non-profit association under Swiss law with headquarters in Lausanne (Switzerland). It is organized corporately and governed by articles 60 and following of the Swiss Civil Code. The purpose of the association is to ensure good relations with extraterrestrials and to prepare the inhabitants of our planet for their arrival.

It is in this vision, carried by the leader of this Movement, Raël, and the 100,000 members spread over more than 80 countries, that the project of building an embassy to officially welcome an extraterrestrial civilization takes its essence and all its significance. Finally, all of the costs associated with the construction of the Embassy, including the scoping study and the feasibility study, will be the IRM’s responsibility.

Their head office and Raël himself are living/doing business in the Eastern Townships in the province of Quebec. All kinds of lies such as having created the first cloned baby (which proved to be false) and more came out of that place over time. Raël himself is a kind of cult leader, a manipulator skewing truth, and Raëlians are: a cult. Raël has about 20 women part of his harem, literally. Met some once they finally went out of the cult.

I would not believe any of their talks/writings. Spare yourself from a loss of time and energy.
