Alastair Crooke is on right now with Judge Napolitano, and their discussion is devoted to the Ukraine attack on Russia's nuclear forces. He implies that Trump may indeed have known about this (but if not, why not??), and emphasizes that OF COURSE this had the close involvement of MI6 and the CIA. The livestream is still in progress.

Napolitano asks if Putin may have reached the limits of his patience. Crooke replies that the west is "daydreaming" if this attack meas that Putin will now be more reasonable in the Istanbul negotiations. And he states that if Trump did indeed know about this in advance, Putin will never trust Trump again. He also emphasizes that this incident has placed the START and SALT nuclear treaties in question.

One thing I might add is that the recent Truth Social post by Trump concerning "..if it wasn't for me it'd be REALLY BAD..playing with fire!" may have been Trump's way of conveying that he knew but had found out late on that something was planned and was sending a public "alert" to Putin, not a threat which it has been perceived and commented about being.

I suspect MI-6 planning, training, shared information with CIA compartments, and a deliberate withholding of these plans from President Trump in attempts to undermine him. An Obama, a Bush, or Clinton would have been briefed; Trump, no: speculation of course, but, that may be closer to reality than it may seem.

This right after Trump called Putin "Crazy" and that he was really mad at him....

....and Trumps golfing buddy just happened to visit Ukraine right before the attack.

In my view: Won't be long and almost all KEY Russian military places have not only drone detectors but also know how to neutralize them in multiple different ways with NEW tech!

• And when that happens, we see it fast enough!
• Anyone that can enhance & invent better ways will be rewarded greatly, of course!
• it would be logical to make civilian drones illegal near ANY of the 100s of military bases, maybe even punished for being years in prison! And anyone that can show evidence of ANY civilian violating the new law will be rewarded greatly too ... Wow. I've just got back home, and read the last 26 posts all at once.

1. Time for Russia to formally declare the conflict an anti-terrorist operation, or even a war.

Regarding an anti-terrorist operation, I agree, and now may be the time to do it.

Graham is also known to have said a while ago that he wants to get as many Russians killed as possible. He likes that idea.
Why Trump likes this guy is beyond me. He (partially) makes the same mistake as during his last tenure, trusting the wrong Deep State people. Yes, there's Kennedy and Gabbard and Musk doing mostly a good job with DOGE, but that won't help here when he only has war hawks surrounding him to keep the Ukraine (and Israel) war going.

I'm sad about this. The world would have had a chance for peace if he chose the right ones around him. Missed opportunity. I'm losing all hope now.

Some sensible words here from General Mike Flynn which combined with Alastair Crooke's (accurate) insights would I hope see some kind of reaction from President Trump, like, grounding that wretched Graham creature. So far, nothing:

So, it appears Zelenskyy gave the go ahead to attack parked Russian nuclear capable bombers without informing @realDonaldTrump
(if true that our President was not consulted nor informed, this isn’t simply a breach of protocol. It’s a geopolitical insult and a warning sign. If Ukraine is willing to conduct strikes with strategic consequences without notifying the White House, we are no longer allies with coordination issues—we are co-belligerents flying blind).

Also given Senator “warmonger” Lindsey Graham’s and Senator “Da Nang Dick” Blumenthal’s recent visit, this attack could appear as though it was sanctioned. I pray the Russians have better intelligence than that. IMHO, these two don’t have the sense or common sense to pull something like this off (there will have to be denials though).

FYI, Those bombers that were hit HAVE to be out in full view due to nuclear treaty obligations. Zelenskyy took advantage of that. For instance, they appear to have hidden the drones in containers and were driven on trucks near the airbase. Smart use of deception (see photos below).

However, imagine any one of our big bomber bases having the exact same thing done to them. Very costly U.S. Strategic Bombers can be taken out in the same way by anyone with access to inexpensive drones, delivery trucks, explosives, and a bit of technical knowledge (not good and new tactics will now have to be developed).

People, and especially world leaders, need to realize the global implications to such an operation as Ukraine just pulled off.

Russia will respond. Action, reaction, counteraction. Those are the shifting tides of warfare.

This wasn’t a bold action, it was brash. Ukraine’s short-term win could be the world’s long-term loss.

Despite what is a complete mess right now in Europe, there are still solutions to achieving peace. They are narrowing however and time, as it often does, becomes an enemy instead of a useful friend.

Authorities in Ust-Kut (Irkutsk region) are searching for 37-year-old Artyom Timofeyev, who is suspected of involvement in the June 1 drone attacks on #Russian military targets.

According to Russian outlet Baza, the vehicles used to launch the drones were registered to Timofeyev.

Sources say Timofeyev was born in Zhitomir, Ukraine (though local officials list Donetsk), and later lived in Kiev. He moved to Russia several years ago, settling in the Chelyabinsk region, with known ties to Miass, where most of his relatives are also registered.

Baza reports that in October 2024, Timofeyev opened a private trucking business. In December, he acquired several vehicles—these same vehicles were allegedly used to carry out the June 1 attacks.

Russian law enforcement has issued a nationwide bulletin. His details have been distributed to all Interior Ministry departments.

Elena Panina, director of the Russian think tank RUSSTRAT and a former member of the State Duma, claims that the recent drone strikes on Russian strategic airbases represent a serious breach of national security and a clear indicator that “all of Russia has become a theater of war.”

“Who Is Behind the Attack on Russia’s Nuclear Triad?

Today has confirmed a sobering truth: all of Russia has become a theater of war. Following four acts of sabotage on the railways, the enemy—acting through Ukraine—carried out attacks on five airfields of Russia’s strategic aviation, located deep within our territory. These strikes were timed to coincide with tomorrow’s round of negotiations in Istanbul.

But the issue isn’t just geographical. One of the key components of Russia’s national security at the strategic level was targeted by the enemy.

▪️ It must be acknowledged that the enemy strike revealed the vulnerability of the airborne component of Russia’s nuclear triad to drone attacks launched from close range. By analogy, one might also assume the vulnerability of the naval component of the Russian nuclear triad—specifically, those submarine forces stationed at bases while surfaced.

It is clear that the situation will be reviewed and appropriate conclusions drawn. However, it’s already evident that criminal liability exists both for action and inaction by responsible officials—this concerns the proper security of airfields. There are also questions for intelligence and counterintelligence. If enemy sources are to be believed, the operation was in preparation for a year or more—and the timing alone suggests careful planning. Yet the strike still came as an unpleasant surprise.

▪️ But that’s not the most important issue right now. What must be urgently determined is: who exactly ordered the attack on Russia’s nuclear triad? Kiev is well aware that the Russian Armed Forces had no intention of using nuclear weapons against Ukraine. But this isn’t a Russia–Ukraine conflict. This is an armed confrontation between the West and Russia, with Ukraine acting as a proxy, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces effectively functioning as part of NATO’s combined forces in Europe. NATO’s top priority is to reduce Russia’s strategic military potential, even if it requires using a kamikaze nation as a tactic.

Clearly, a strike on our nuclear triad affects our capabilities in terms of strategic nuclear deterrence and casts doubt on the maintenance of nuclear parity with the United States. One of the obvious beneficiaries of the SBU’s actions—who has claimed responsibility for Operation “Spiderweb”—is the United States of America. At the same time, instinct suggests that the British were behind the planning of this operation. Supporting the theory of a British trace is the fact that it was the island nation’s media that played the lead role in the media coverage of today’s strike.

There is no doubt that Kiev will get what’s coming to it. But the time has come to hit the enemy not just on the hands—but on the head.”
