Default Mission Un-Accomplished? The Corbett Report Back on YouTube

    Good news!

The Corbett Report is back on Youtube.

"To YouTube or not to YouTube, that is the question. And it's no longer a hypothetical question! That's right, the YouTube overlords have decided to allow The Corbett Report once again. "

    To celebrate:
Here is one of his "funniest" and most watched clips called "9/11: A Conspiracy Theory" less than 5 mins long.

For some reason, youtube has eased the censorship lately. It was at its hardest during the covid period, it seems.

Perhaps the reason is to ensnare those who rail against the 'social narrative', to then 'punish' them later on down the line, or it could be as cynical as their (Alphabet) profits having taken a kicking by removing more popular content creators.

I generally tend to immediately switch off YouTube video content if it's plagued with adverts every minute and a half - that's just excruciating, for me.

If James can earn a little more revenue, great, but he'd maybe be better off avoiding the blasted platform: my one cent-fifty

It's good to see him back, though as Tintin said, the decision to unban him is probably more to do with ad revenue than any sudden surge of enlightenment.

Corbett is right when he laments the naivete of his subscriber base - he never really went away, he has his own website and posts on many other platforms, but they only know youtube. I admit, myself, I too am a stickler for youtube, and very rarely, if ever, surf other video platforms. Whatever you may think of Youtube, it is the undisputed king of video streaming. There's no close second.

Mate. Get uBlock Origin, it's fantastic. Run it in the background of your browser and you'll never see another ad -- on Youtube or anywhere else. I often forget that 'ads' even exist. I never see them. Not one.

Thanks Mark. May I ask what browser you use as Chrome has blocked ublock because "it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions"

Firefox. Personally, I wouldn't touch Chrome with a barge pole!
