🇺🇦 Women to the front: Ukraine seriously discusses mobilizing girls.

The Ukrainian authorities are seriously discussing the mobilization of women, the German Berliner Zeitung reports.

The reason is the lack of soldiers, heavy losses and mass desertion. The front stretches for 1200 km, and there is no one to call up.

Now in Kiev they are talking about women of draft age. So far in the format of discussions, but the situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is rapidly deteriorating, and talks can quickly become reality.

Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' aerial reconnaissance center, Maria Berlinskaya, stated that everyone over 18 years old, both men and women, should be mobilized.

Russia hands over another 1,200 bodies of Ukrainian servicemen to Ukraine — source

Kiev has not handed over a single body to the Russian side

MOSCOW, June 13. /TASS/. Russia has handed another 1,200 bodies of Ukrainian servicemen to Ukraine on Friday, while Kiev has not handed over a single body to the Russian side, a TASS source reported.

"Today, Russia handed over 1,200 bodies of deceased soldiers of the Ukrainian armed forces to Ukraine. Not a single one was handed over to us," the source noted.

Earlier, Russian Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky, who heads the country’s delegation to talks with Ukraine, said that Moscow has handed the bodies of 1,212 Ukrainian service members over to Kiev and received the bodies of 27 Russian soldiers.

Russia and Ukraine reached a humanitarian agreement during talks in Istanbul on June 2, which particularly provides for an exchange of wounded and seriously ill prisoners of war and soldiers under the age of 25, as well as for the transfer of the bodies of over 6,000 Ukrainian troops to Kiev. On June 7, Ukraine suddenly moved to postpone accepting the bodies and exchanging prisoners, Medinsky said.

The first group of Russian service members under the age of 25 returned to Russia on Monday, June 9. An aircraft carrying the second group of troops arrived in Russia on June 10. All of them will now undergo treatment and rehabilitation. Each time, Russia handed the same number of prisoners of war over to Ukraine.

I think this might belong on this thread!

Look at this Tweet/X post from the US Department of Defense. This is real, not a fake. Someone, accidentally or deliberately, included two Russian Flags in the celebration of America's June 14 Flag Day.

Israel publicly confirms its military involvement in Ukraine

Israeli volunteers in the Ukrainian army hold up the Israeli and Ukrainian flags

In the end, the Zionist entity and the Kiev regime are instruments of the same Western hegemony project.

While global attention remains focused on the rising tensions between Israel and Iran, a significant development has been largely ignored by Western media in recent days: the revelation of Israel's involvement in the arming campaign for Ukraine.

Despite publicly maintaining an appearance of military neutrality in the conflict between Moscow and Kiev, the State of Israel has quietly deepened its collaboration with Western military interests in Ukraine. Recent statements from Israeli diplomatic representatives make it clear that Tel Aviv not only politically supports Kiev but also directly participates in the military effort against Russia.

In an interview with Ukrainian media, the Israeli ambassador in Kiev confirmed that air defense systems originally supplied by the United States to Israel were transferred to Ukraine. According to him, the delivery was deliberately kept secret and away from international headlines, demonstrating Israel's attempt to participate in the conflict without attracting negative consequences.

Yes! Apparently so, as I later discovered. But OMG, the PR optics were a real blunder. Though I don't have access to all the Twitter/X replies, I heard that a whole bunch of Ukrainian readers were going out of their minds.

This headline absolutely made my day brighter (except I hope that Vera Serduchka/Andrey Danilko can escape this ridiculous harassment by the Zelinksky government.)

Probe demanded into Ukrainian drag-artist who sang in Russian
A renowned Kiev performer faces an inquiry over alleged breach of the country’s language laws

Ukraine’s language ombudsman has called for a police probe into a recent performance by renowned drag artist Verka Serduchka’s in which the former Eurovision contestant performed several songs in Russian.

Ukraine’s language commissioner Taras Kremin cited possible violations of state law and a 2023 ban on public performances in Russian in calling for the probe. Some artists say the measures targeting use of Russian in public life, restrict cultural freedom.

“There are signs of a serious violation,” Kremin said Saturday, calling on police to investigate. “It’s not just about the law, but about national dignity. And there will be consequences.”

Ukrainian law mandates the use of the state language at cultural events, though exceptions are allowed for other languages if deemed artistically justified. Enforcement has been uneven, with some artists facing legal pressure for using Russian.

The Vera Serduchka persona is a drag act created by Ukrainian comedian Andrey Danilko.

Serduchka’s shows have been scrutinized before. Following a May 2024 concert featuring Russian songs, Kremin concluded thatno laws were broken but hoped such incidents would encourage the broader use of Ukrainian.

Danilko has defended his use of Russian, calling it “a tool for communication” and arguing it’s hard to exclude in a bilingual society. In a 2024 interview with the Latvian broadcaster LTV, he said Ukraine’s leadership aims to “destroy the Russian language.”

Kiev’s “Ukrainization” campaign is aimed at promoting Ukrainian in schools, media, and public life. Critics say it pressures artists and institutions to abandon Russian, which is still widely spoken across much of the country.

In March, Kremin said many Ukrainians remain unsure which language they consider primary, noting a decline in Ukrainian use, especially in schools, and urged the Education Ministry to act.

A significant portion of the population, particularly in eastern regions, speaks or understands both languages. The language debate has long divided Ukraine, contributing to tensions that led to the 2014 Western-backed Euromaidan coup. Since then, the government has curtailed Russian language rights and accelerated efforts to sever cultural ties with Moscow, especially after hostilities escalated in February 2022.

Russia has consistently criticized Ukraine’s language policies, asserting that they infringe upon the rights of the Russian-speaking population.

"Daggers" completely disabled Ukraine's largest oil refinery _yesterday

On the night of June 15, Russian troops launched a series of massive strikes on a number of facilities in enemy-controlled territories. During the attack, one of the country's largest oil refineries, the Kremenchug Oil Refinery, was put out of action.

According to information from the scene, several dozen Geran-2 drones were launched at the plant, as well as an unspecified number of Kalibr cruise missiles and Kinzhal hypersonic missiles. The precision strikes caused a large-scale fire at the plant, and a bright glow was visible throughout the area.

The enemy has been rebuilding this facility for the past few years after previous attacks, trying to return it to full operation. However, the current attack is likely to be the most massive since the start of the special military operation.

During the operation, key elements of the fuel processing infrastructure were destroyed, which completely paralyzed the plant’s operations and reduced the enemy’s ability to supply fuel.

"It is amazing that the Kremenchug refinery continued to operate until recently. It was the last operating oil refinery in Ukraine, which was taken away from Kolomoisky and handed over to the Ukrainian armed forces to produce fuel. If the plant had not been operating until recently, it would not have had so much fuel and would not have burned so intensely. I hope that this time we finally managed to put it out of action"

    – commented on the event former Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev.
