Last March, Newsweek and other legacy news organizations selectively quoted DNI Tulsi Gabbard's testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee, to promote the claim that she and the entire Intelligence Community assessed that "Iran is not building a nuclear weapon".

The People's Voice video I posted on Tuesday cited this mainstream media report as part of their argument that Iran's nuclear weapons development was not the real motive behind Israel's surprise attack on Iran on Friday the 13th.

The Fake News deception was easy to miss at the time, because Gabbard was accurately quoted and she did appear on the video clip saying, "The IC continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme Leader Khamenei has not authorized the nuclear weapons program that he suspended in 2003".

The problem is they cut out the next sentences that immediately came out of her mouth: "In the past year, we've seen an erosion of a decades-long taboo in Iran on discussing nuclear weapons in public, likely emboldening nuclear weapons advocates within Iran's decision-making apparatus. Iran's enriched uranium stockpile is at its highest levels and is unprecedented for a state without nuclear weapons," as can be seen in this longer clip that she tweeted on Friday with the comment:

"The dishonest media is intentionally taking my testimony out of context and spreading fake news as a way to manufacture division. America has intelligence that Iran is at the point that it can produce a nuclear weapon within weeks to months, if they decide to finalize the assembly. President Trump has been clear that can’t happen, and I agree."

Gabbard had been sworn into office weeks prior to her March Senate testimony and this mischaracterization of her statements was not immediately addressed or corrected, likely due to the Trump-Deranged "Resistance" within the ranks of the agency that she now heads.

This misrepresentation is being maliciously used by the Deep State's "factcheckers" and their Dinosaur Media as a wedge between Gabbard and the President, in the hopes of getting her fired.

Tore Maras recently wrote what I consider to be her most important article that I've ever read, in which she praises Gabbard for having, herself bravely fired Tamara Johnson, the Principle Deputy Inspector General of the Intelligence Community, who she describes as the ultimate obstructionist bureaucrat, a "legacy node" who rubber-stamped the brain dead and unethical Trump-Russia Hoax.

Johnson's job title says she's supposed to provide ethics and oversight but Tore says that during her 20-year career, Johnson has only ever served as "a firewall—not to protect the Republic from abuse, but to protect the abusers from the Republic."

Tore describes Gabbard's termination of Johnson as a "Direct blow against the unelected, unaccountable apparatus often referred to as the Fourth Branch of Government: the permanent intelligence and security state."

This Daily Wire article attests to Johnson's Swampy antics.

Johnson was elevated in 2015 to the Senior National Intelligence Service (SNIS), the most consequential government entity that I've never heard of before and about which there is virtually no public information.

In her article that I highly recommend that you read and that you subscribe to her Substack, Tore explains:

Rescuers Attempt to Save Tourist Trapped in Active Volcano



Rescuers are still trying to reach a Brazilian tourist who fell into the crater of Indonesia’s 3,726m Mt. Rinjani on Saturday.

Juliana Marins, 26, rose before dawn to hike around the rim of the country’s second-largest volcano with a small guided group. But in the early-morning fog, she slipped over the edge of the trail and fell down a cliff into the crater.

Drone footage captured over the previous three days shows her alive and conscious, but rescuers have been unable to reach her.



However, when rescuers descended to that point, they were unable to find her. They called out but received no response and were forced to climb back up to the rim. On Sunday, more drone footage confirmed that she was no longer in her original location.

On Monday morning, authorities found Marins again, even further down the slope. It appears that at some point on Saturday, she slid further down the cliff from where she was perched. Rescuers attempted to reach her again, but stopped a little under halfway down. They were reportedly able to send food and water down to her before retreating.

We now have a very sad update, one that I'd suspected was all too probable. The dramatic story went viral all round the world, especially in Brazil. But after she slipped way further down the steep slope, no-one could reach her, and she was 4 days without food, water or any protection from the elements.

She must have been terrified. She never made it alive to the fourth day.

I was following this closely, as I know quite a lot about mountain rescue and what to do (and not to do) in these kinds of situations. Everyone involved made a whole bunch of mistakes:

• The local guide who wasn't anywhere near her when she fell.

• Whoever never advised her to take her own backpack with at least a few things in it that might have kept her alive. (She had nothing with her at all.)

• (and though this can't fairly be criticized:)
  Mistakes which she very probably made through her own inexperience when she was in her original safe position 1000 ft down (see the photo above).
  
  If she'd barely moved a muscle and stayed exactly there, maybe very carefully, inch by inch, digging herself a kind of bucket seat, they'd have reached her the next day and she'd only have had to make it through one bad night.
  
  We'll never know, but I'm guessing she panicked, tried to climb out on her own or change her position, and then fell far further, likely injuring herself badly.

• There are quite a few signs that the Indonesian rescuers weren't very expert or experienced. Americans, Europeans or Russians would have got her out well within 24 hours. If I'd been i/c the rescue effort, I'd have commandeered a military sea rescue helicopter with a 2000 ft steel cable and winch, and trained operators who could pull anyone out of anything. Nothing like that ever happened.

Deaths occur in adventure sports all the time. But the very worst kind are when someone is clearly alive and yelling for help, but for one reason or another just can't be reached or helped in any way.

Very interestingly, economist and political commentator Michael Hudson argues here that this was an anti-Uniparty, anti-war, pro-Palestine vote, because for thousands of college students this was the only way they could express their strong views without being punished. I don't know enough here to comment, but the thesis seemed compelling.

The magnetosphere acts to shield Earth from charged particles, meaning electrons, or ionized nuclei like Hydrogen or Helium and occasionally heavier elements.

Larger lumps of matter, from dust particles to comets to even planets and even the Sun, may have a net electric charge, but nowhere near the charge-to-mass ratio of the ionized elementary particles. So Earth’s magnetic field has much less influence on the path/direction of these.

Incidentally, the ionized elementary particles with highest energy, called galactic cosmic rays (GCRs) originate not at the Sun but at other sources in our galaxy and at other galaxies. Being very energetic, meaning high kinetic energy (proportional to the square of velocity), they are less affected by the magnetosphere than the relatively slower Sun-source Cosmic Wind (electrons) or Coronal Mass Ejections (mostly individual protons that come from ionized Hydrogen).

The weakening magnetosphere does offer less of a barrier to the GCRs, so more of them (or their “daughter products”, as they transform by breaking up when they hit atmospheric atoms or ions) make it down to Earth’s surface or even deep into Earth’s crust. There are some types of magma that get thickened by this, possibly causing more explosive eruptions like Krakatoa or the Lake Toba event of 73k years ago.

This was an utter shock and many of us are relived that we will not have to see neo-Lib Andrew Cuomo as mayor. Since Cuomo lost, many of his donors have admitted that they only backed him because they thought he would win and needed to get Cuomo's approval for corrupt deals by being on the donor list.

Zohran won because he was addressing issues of affordability here in New York. It you are looking for a one bedroom apartment, it can be $4,000 a month in the Bronx or $8,500 a month in central Manhattan. For candidates like Cuomo, the solution is to eminent domain homes and build casinos, stadiums and luxury housing. For Zohran, it is to resume doing what the city did in the 1960's, building more low-income housing. That's what makes him a "socialist".

There was a pivotal moment in the debates which showed just how beholden most of New York City's politicians are to the wealthy Zionist elite of the upper East Side of Manhattan. They were asked "What is the first foreign country you would visit?" It is both perverse and hilarious to see how eager they were to press their faces into the butt cheeks of Zionism and partake of it's propaganda. But then Zohran gave a brilliant answer to the question (at the 0:30 second mark):

By saying he would stay in New York and work on the city, he basically positioned himself as the "Make New York City Great Again" candidate.

It's also interesting to watch the continuation of the debate for another minutes, in which it becomes just how apparent how determined the people behind the debate are to get a loyalty oath to Israel and spin anyone off as "anti-semetic" who doesn't fully commit to the Zionist agenda. Mamdami's answers are brilliant and force them to expose their own hypocrisy.

When Columbia, NYU, City College, and other colleges had peaceful demonstrations against Israel aimed at getting their universities to divest, the city wasted millions of taxpayer dollars putting obscene numbers of police on the streets to create the illusion that the protests were nothing but violent festivals of "antisemitism". I witnessed one peaceful pro-Palestine march and there must have been 400 policeman present, and not that many more protesters. It would be great to have a mayor more focused on fixing the problems of the city than on promoting Zionism.

Just as the Republican party needed an alternative to the Neo-Cons that were taking it over, Democrats need to be relieved of the tired, corrupt old Neo-Libs that have domincated the party, and Mamdami might just be one of those people:
