Robert DeNiro's son Airyn is now coming out as a transgender woman.

I'll give everyone a few moments to reflect on the courage and bravery of Airyn.

    ...
    ...
    ...

I googled Airyn (whose name is spelled in the most obnoxious way imaginable of course) to see pics of his childhood/teen/ early adulthood years ..and could not find a single image of him before his "transition". It was all completely memory-holed and replaced with the 3 or 4 images taken since the announcement. Staggering. Very creepy. Sinister. Did I say creepy yet?
He was originally named Aaron ('Aaron Kendrick De Niro', reference article here). If you search using that name for images on Google with a custom date range of a few years back, you can find him. Here's an example. (But creepy, for sure)

Thanks Bill. But I'm pretty sure that's Raphael De Niro.

I'm looking into this now and getting a headache from the confusion. The Aaron De Niro's I'm seeing all look a little different. It's a combination of mistakes by the editors I think and also a lack of pics between early childhood and early adulthood...

    Aaron as a little boy:

Aaron as a young man (he's the one in the middle):

...but those 2 people look nothin alike?

Is common sense winning here? From my early biological education, female is female, and male is male, nothing since has convinced me otherwise, even hermaphroditic species. So, good luck to the women’s cricket team, the ‘ladies’ rugby teams, and even the most strong darts teams globally !!! 🙄

That's as good a summary of the issue/s as I think we'd find anywhere, and I am glad someone who is lesbian has come out and said this. It needed to be reinforced.

Very gradually, in bits and pieces in many places, the damage done is being dismantled.
1,000 Troops who identify as Transgender being Discharged: Pentagon

The U.S. Department of Defense on May 8 confirmed that approximately 1,000 service members who have identified as having gender dysphoria will begin the voluntary separation process under new guidance that reinstates a ban on military service for those diagnosed with or exhibiting symptoms of gender dysphoria.

“Today, the Department will issue guidance to the Military Departments and Services ending the accession of individuals with a current diagnosis or history of, or symptoms consistent with, gender dysphoria and all non-medically necessary treatment,” said Defense Department spokesman Sean Parnell. The new policy marks a significant shift in military personnel standards and reflects President Donald J. Trump’s directive issued earlier this year. "Approximately 1,000 Service members who have self-identified as being diagnosed with gender dysphoria will begin the voluntary separation process."

The decision comes days after the U.S. Supreme Court, in a 6–3 vote, granted a stay of a lower court ruling that had blocked the policy. The majority did not issue an opinion, nor did the three dissenting justices. The stay allows the Department of Defense to enforce the new policy as litigation continues in a case brought by a group of transgender service members.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth defended the move as necessary for maintaining military readiness and cohesion. “This is the president’s agenda, this is what the American people voted for, and we’re going to continue to relentlessly pursue it,” Hegseth said in a video statement. In a memorandum dated May 8, he wrote that “service by individuals with a current diagnosis or history of, or exhibiting symptoms consistent with, gender dysphoria is not in the best interest of the Military Services and is not clearly consistent with the interests of national security.”

Under the new guidance, troops who self-identify by June 6 (active duty) or July 7 (reserves) will be eligible for voluntary separation and may receive separation pay. The deadline was extended from previous guidance by 30 and 60 days, respectively. Those seeking to remain in the military must obtain a waiver demonstrating that their continued service supports a compelling government interest and enhances warfighting capabilities. Among other requirements, waiver applicants must show they have not pursued gender transition and have demonstrated 36 consecutive months of psychological stability without significant distress.

Hegseth, speaking at a recent conservative conference in Florida, signaled a broader cultural shift within the military: “No more pronouns, no more climate change obsessions, no more emergency vaccine mandates, no more dudes in dresses,” he said.

Watching people squirm on gender issues isn't something to be enjoyed but if they really believed what they spouted then they surely shouldn't hedge so much. Just come out with it. But the fact that they don't, yet continue to wriggle, doesn't add to their argument one little bit and demonstrates the absurdty of it.

Being transgender just means the person doesn’t identify with the gender they were assigned at birth.
“Assigned” meaning a role forced on the person that is incongruent with their sense of self.
“Woman” is interchangeable with “female” in a casual colloquial context, but in a precise clinical context they are different.

Sex has to do with biology: male female, intersex.
Gender has to do with behavior based on social norms (that are not infallible).
“Woman” is a category of gender.
“A woman” is a person that expresses & presents as a woman and has an insistent, persistent & consistent self concept as a woman.
The concept of womanhood is relative to the individual based on what they associate with womanhood or femininity. Our associations are based on cultural & generational norms, as well as family traditions and community expectations (which are also not infallible).

Pre-pubescent children do not get sex change surgeries or hormone replacement therapy.
Trans gender teenagers *might* get harmless and reversible puberty blockers if they can demonstrate to a psychiatrist that they have a real incongruence.

    U.S. population is 375 million
Transgender people are approximately 0.6% of the U.S. population.
    About 2.2 million people.

In the U.S., approximately 38.5%of adults who identify as transgender are trans women.
    .00231% of the population
    515,200 people

    Of that .002 percent many:
•have avoidance anxiety from being •constantly harassed
    •are only attracted to men
    •Asexual
    •Demisexual
    •have bottom dysphoria
    •are bottoms
•can get laid any time they want without having to resort to predatory actions
•are good people that wouldn’t hurt anyone

.7% of trans women are registered sex offenders
    .000965% of the population
    3,606 people
3,511 of those cases are between domestic partners, leaving 95 cases.
    .00000014% of the population

93% of sexual assaults are perpetrated by a person known to the victims.
Most of those assaults happen in private locations (a persons home).

According to RAINN, there is a sexual assault in America every 68 seconds.
Only 1 or 2 happen in a public restroom and usually between two minor that know each other (playing doctor or something).
The average profile for a sex offender is a middle aged white cis male

Fear and suspicions of trans people are just fear based ignorance.

Hey bbow73. You can call fear and suspicions all you want, but trans identity is simply play-acting, imo. It should be obvious.

I can get that people may incarnate in a body that matches their 2/3 opposite, but only if lessons were agreed to. In that case, the soul should and I think would go all-in to learn. This current trans movement feels more like a trend, leveraging tolerance of the gen pop to stand out and be all “see me”.

Media behemoths like CBC (Canada) heavily promote trans ideology, same lying b*sterds that promoted the evil jabs, and now have gotten loud with climate change hysteria fake alarms.

Think of it this way: why are men willing to give up the expression of 2/3 of their gender content? I think they are just playing, but this is serious stuff, so I think they have mental issues. I wish them well.

    1. It is irrational to call this a trend. Coming out puts your life at risk. You will be harassed constantly and probably assaulted a few times. You will lose many privileges like going out alone at night.

The comparison is the emergence of left handed people after being left handed ceased to be stigmatized.

    2. When you’ve had privilege your whole life, equality feels like oppression. Trans visibility isn’t being “pushed” by trans people. They have more visibility rather than being erased. It was the conservatives that started the trans-panic, that’s why it’s a national conversation.

    3. Anyone would have “mental issues” if they were forced into a role that wasn’t natural to them. That isn’t a development disorder it is based in societal marginalization.
Affinity or aversion to a form of expression is natural, like being introverted or an inductive thinker, there are neural pathways that result in peace of mind and others that induce stressors.
