Prevent Alzheimer’s & Dementia (Dr Bredesen)
Eat high fat to prevent and reverse Alzheimer's disease and dementia with Dr. Dale Bredesen.
45 million of the currently living Americans are set to die of Alzheimer's, and the signature of Alzheimer's is insulin resistance. Therefore, this is not a disease of old age; it's a disease that can affect anyone.

My guest today is Dr. Dale Bredesen, a world-renowned brain expert and best-selling author, who knows the cause of Alzheimer's and dementia, and has published studies to show reversal of cognitive decline and Alzheimer's with a high-fat diet.

In Dr. Bredesen's published trial, they looked at people who were in the third and fourth phase, that is to say, mild cognitive impairment and early dementia. 84% of them improved their cognitive scores. "We're seeing a reversal of decline. We're seeing sustained improvements. We're seeing people with normal cognition enhance their cognitive abilities by doing the right things. This is a very exciting time!”

Why Diabetic People Should Never Eat Starch
It all breaks down into sugar. Which spikes your blood sugar. Which raises your insulin. So the spike blood sugar, that is one of the definitions of diabetes, high blood sugar...then the high insulin virtually forces the body to store fat. If your insulin is high, you cannot burn your fat.

    Giant Amethyst geode.

I had no idea they came this big. One of the largest mines for these huge geodes is in Uruguay.

The Holocaust You’ve Never Heard Of
    11:33
Natalie Morris asks why the contribution by the Asian community to WW2 in terms of lives lost has never been acknowledged in the same way as that of the Jews.

She has a point. The Japanese were every bit as barbaric as the Nazis and it's estimated that between 14 and 20 million Chinese civilians were killed during the Japanese invasion of China, yet they hardly ever get a mention. Shiro Ishi was every bit as bad as Dr Mengele, but we've never heard of him.

I wonder whether our current leaders are aware that between 70 & 85 million people altogether were killed in WW2, an unforgivable waste of creativity and potential lost forever. Since technological and diplomatic alternatives now exist to resolve disputes without violence, war as it stands now is surely passe?

Something awe inspiring from last Christmas, 2024 - from Brian Rommele

    Touching the Sun…

At 3.7 million miles, we got closer to the sun than ever in history.

NASA's Parker Solar Probe using the Wide-Field Imager for Solar Probe (WISPR) recorded this during its closest approach to the Sun.

Andrew McCarthy is an amateur astronomy photographer and I've been checking on his many beautiful genuine photographs via X. He's shot some pretty amazing stuff and has a kind of mini-series of shots of the ISS with the Moon, and Sun, as backdrops.

Here's a dramatic shot of the ISS shot in front of the Moon taken maybe even this week:

    This from mid-June:

Here he describes how he captures these shots:

If You’ve Never Taken 20g of Creatine, Watch THIS Immediately
    (6:13)
There's been a lot of interest online in creatine lately and I have some to supplement my fitness routine. 3-5g daily is recommended, taken in juice or water.
Creatine is made in the body naturally but not, apparently, in the quantities needed for optimum fitness and/or aging bodies. I've only taken it once (3g) and of course haven't noticed any benefit yet, but is it really the best thing sinced sliced bread? Rhonda Patrick seems to think so.

    The above video discusses:
    • Should everyone be supplementing with creatine?
    • Why vegans may benefit most from creatine supplementation
    • Why 5 grams of creatine isn't enough for brain benefits
    • Her personal creatine supplementation strategy
    • The creatine dose that combats sleep deprivation

Whenever someone is self mastered, what have they accomplished?
Something that nobody can take from them. Nobody can take all that knowledge, all that skill, all that experience.

Self mastery is more important than what a university can teach. A university can teach you how to think, but it doesn't teach you mastery.

This Mysterious Drug Can Erase Addiction ‘Virtually Overnight’ | Wall Street Journal
    (8:19)

A short but interesting video outlining breaking opioid dependence quickly and for good. Would be wonderful if it also worked on other addictions, like alcohol for instance. At between $5,000-$15,000 for treatment it's not cheap, but weigh in the costs of drug dependency and a life of freedom, it seems to be worth the cost.

"The opioid crisis continues to claim lives and devastate communities. A little-known powerful psychedelic called ibogaine has been touted for its remarkable ability to erase years of addiction and withdrawal in just one session. But ibogaine remains illegal in the U.S., causing thousands of Americans to cross borders into places like Mexico and Brazil to receive treatment.

WSJ visits a clinic called Ambio Life Sciences in Tijuana, Mexico, to follow one patient's journey through this intense and unorthodox treatment.

I have been so interested in Ibogaine since I read about it in 2005.

Quote W. Bryan Hubbard is a veteran attorney and policy advocate for Ibogaine. He is the CEO of Americans For Ibogaine, and previously served as the 1st chairman of the Kentucky Opioid Commission.

Bryan joins Theo to talk about all things Ibogaine. They discuss how it’s used to treat symptoms of addiction and PTSD, their own experiences with plant based medicine, and how government corruption can stop new treatments from reaching a broad audience.

PS: Dr Seheults' reply to the last question posed (not listed above) by a previous guest, is really thought provoking. I just loved this interview, which is easily on a par (but completely different) to that of Eric Weinstein recently. The common denominator must be Steven Bartlet himself. . .
