Why Americans Eat What Europe Bans (20 min)

Hate to break it to you, but if you are dining in the United States, your truffle oil wasn't made from truffles. Your vanilla extract? Well, that's probably just a lab-made derivative of crude oil. And your shaker of Parmesan cheese? It probably has wood pulp inside. But fake foods aren’t just misleading, they are also becoming incredibly common in the USA... up to 50% of calories, according to some estimates. So how did America become the imitation nation, while Europe said no?”

Have you heard of the controversial “edible coating” Apeel?

It’s a film that goes on produce to make it last longer, and it’s been approved by the USDA Organics program.

It’s invisible, odorless, and you can’t wash it off.

Many people doubt Apeel is really safe to consume, even though the Bill & Melinda Gates partnered company, Apeel Sciences, claims it is.

    What You Need to Know:

    1. Apeel is a tasteless, odorless, invisible food coating that dramatically slows down food spoilage.

It’s purpose is to extend shelf life of produce, to make the produce look fresh even if it’s been in a warehouse for weeks. There are versions of Apeel that can be applied before or after harvest. It’s on foods in over 65 countries, including organics in the U.S.
“Apeel already has approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as “generally recognized as safe” (GRAS). The two products will be marketed as preserving agents (keeping the outward appearance of freshness of the fruit or vegetable), as pesticides (creating a physical barrier for pests) or even as fungicides (such as preventing the anthracnose fungus from shriveling up avocados).
    — "Is Apeel Appealing?" - Weston A. Price Foundation

    2. Apeel claims to be environmentally friendly and plant-based.

Apeel is extracted from food waste, like seeds, peels, pulps, and stems from plants. Apeel claims to source a lot of its ingredients from grape skins and seeds leftover from wine processing.

Though it may come from natural sources, the end result is a far cry from leftover orange peels because the raw ingredients undergo a transformation using industrial petrochemical extraction.

However, how “green” is it to use petrochemical solvents in the extraction process?

    3. Apeel contains heavy metals and petrochemical solvents, and it may contain trans fats.

Apeel is made of purified monoglycerides and diglycerides, which are edible fatty acids commonly found in the often discarded parts of fruits and vegetables. These types of fatty acids may contain trans fats, which are known to cause obesity and metabolic syndrome.

The problem is the extraction process contains exposure to industrial petrochemical solvents and heavy metals. Apeel tested the amounts of these solvents and heavy metals in their submission statement to the FDA (page 14).

Apeel contains lead, cadmium, arsenic, palladium, and mercury. It claims to be in small enough amounts to not negatively impact the consumer, thus the USDA’s “Generally Recognized as Safe” classification.

Apeel says a consumer would need to ingest 30,000 apples to ingest 1 kg of Apeel. However, I don’t think you’d need to eat 1 kg of Apeel to get a substantial amount of heavy metals. We know heavy metals build up in the body over a lifetime. It’s not a fair comparison to say there are trace amounts of heavy metals in one piece of produce sprayed with Apeel. That may be true, but that person very well may eat thousands of apples in their lifetime, thus exposing them to heavy metals daily.

What Can You Do About It?

One of the best things you can do is to support local farmers and ask them questions about their growing process. There’s no need to use Apeel if you’re going straight to the source.

Another action step is to submit feedback online to your local grocer, especially if it’s a big chain. Tell them you don’t want produce coated with Apeel and won’t be purchasing any produce with an Apeel coating.

‘Apeel’ is a World Economic Forum, and Bill Gates funded product that is being sprayed on fruits and vegetables, which are on the verge of spoiling so that they appear fresh and last longer. Even more frightening is the fact that ‘Apeel’ has been approved for use on USDA organic produces.

Thanks RunningDeer. Been dreading this stuff since I first heard of it. I'd be curious to know if it penetrates the avocado or remains in the skin. I've read that some foods remain safer to eat than others after being sprayed with conventional pesticides like the avocado because of its thick outer skin. I wonder, do they spray after picking or during the growing process? Of course, I don't want this stuff on anything I eat, but they just keep forcing this stuff through, like a smart meter for your produce. Supporting your local farmer is always the best option but many don't have that luxury living in big cities or areas without nearby farmers. I live in a farm rich area but still find myself buying most of my produce from the local big chain store because the winter's are so long and the growing season so short.

    You're welcome, Raskolnikov.

This is what Google-Goggle has to say, but I can’t help but wonder if the information is actually reliable or just echoing what it was programmed to say:
Apeel is a plant-based coating designed to extend the shelf life of produce, like avocados, by slowing down oxidation and moisture loss. It’s applied as a very thin layer on the outside of the fruit and is made from lipids and glycerolipids found in peels, seeds, and pulp of other fruits and vegetables.

Does it seep into an avocado?

No, Apeel does not seep into the avocado flesh. Here’s why:
    • It forms a surface coating on the peel (skin) of the avocado, not a penetrating chemical.
    • The skin of an avocado is a natural barrier. Apeel adheres to this but does not pass through it.
    • Apeel is designed to be edible and safe, even though you typically don’t eat the skin of an avocado.
    • It is not a solvent in the way that chemicals like alcohol or acetone are. It’s more like a waxy layer.
    If you're concerned:

You can wash the avocado before cutting it if you want to minimize contact.
The flesh you eat is protected by the thick skin, and any trace amounts from handling the skin would be minimal.

The Clairs - Higher and Sub-Senses
Here is a list of the commonly recognized "higher senses” and “sub-senses,” often associated with intuitive or psychic abilities. Each is typically linked to one of the five physical senses.
    • Clairvoyance – Clear seeing (seeing images, visions, or symbols beyond normal sight)
    • Clairaudience – Clear hearing (hearing voices, sounds, or messages not heard by others)
    • Clairsentience – Clear feeling (feeling emotions or physical sensations not your own)
    • Claircognizance – Clear knowing (knowing information without logical basis)
    • Clairalience – Clear smelling (smelling scents with no physical source)
    • Clairgustance – Clear tasting (tasting substances without physical contact)
    • Clairempathy – Clear emotional feeling (sensing the emotional energy of people or places)
These are considered forms of extrasensory perception (ESP) in metaphysical or spiritual contexts and especially in fields like philosophy, psychology, and certain spiritual or holistic systems, suggest that humans have far more than the traditional five senses.
Here’s a general breakdown of the kinds of senses included in expanded models:

    1. The traditional five senses:
    • Sight
    • Hearing
    • Touch
    • Taste
    • Smell

    2. Additional physical senses recognized by neuroscience and physiology:
    • Balance (equilibrioception)
    • Temperature (thermoception)
    • Pain (nociception)
    • Body awareness (proprioception)
    • Internal senses (interoception: hunger, thirst, heartbeat, bladder fullness, etc.)

    3. Emotional and intuitive senses:
    • Sense of time
    • Sense of self
    • Sense of agency (knowing you are the cause of an action)
    • Sense of familiarity or recognition
    • Empathy (emotional resonance)
    • Intuition or "gut feeling"

    4. Metaphysical or psychic senses (often called "clair" senses):
    • Clairvoyance (clear seeing)
    • Clairaudience (clear hearing)
    • Clairsentience (clear feeling)
    • Claircognizance (clear knowing)
    • Clairalience (clear smelling)
    • Clairgustance (clear tasting)
    • Clairempathy (clear emotional sensing)
    • Telepathy (mind-to-mind communication)
    • Psychometry (sensing information from objects)
    • Precognition (knowing future events)
    • Retrocognition (knowing past events)
    • Mediumship (communicating with spirits)

    5. Energetic or subtle senses (in some esoteric systems):
    • Sensing energy fields (auras)
    • Chakra sensitivity
    • Earth connection or geomagnetic sense
    • Animal communication
    • Dream awareness/lucid dreaming
    • Astral perception
    • Spiritual guidance perception

Lisa’s two-hour Q&A session took place last evening. The first question is: What should we prioritize now? I transcribed part of the Q&A in three posts which can be found here.
Lisa shares a few of her techniques on the Live Q&A:
@ 23:03 - The guest asks how can you tell where the communication is coming from? Lisa shares a technique on how to drop into your heart to see if it’s coming from within or its external.
Lisa: If I'm trying to get a read on something, if I'm trying to get some information on something, I want to feel into it. It's almost like I sit in my heart and I push my heart frequency into that situation. It's like sending out a beam that will then read and pick up.

If I get what you're calling a download, like an insight, and you that's sort of what you're wondering whether it’s coming from you or from something external. Sometimes it feels like it comes from my heart up into my head, like it's coming from within me. So, I would say that’s the greater part of me.

And then sometimes I wake up with this sensation like I have been in a room or a bubble or a space with another being having a conversation and I can feel myself coming back into my body. Sort of like drifting away from them and back into here and I can just hear the last of what they're saying.

So, how does it feel for you when when you're getting this information? Does it feel like it's dropping in? Does it feel like it's coming as an upload or a download?

    Guest: It’s a just knowing.

Lisa: When you get it next time just drop into your heart and ask the question, ”Were is this coming from?” And allow your heart to just radiate and get a sense of where it’s coming from. And sometimes you might actually hear something or you'll just feel it.

    UPDATE:
    This just out.

Neuroscientist (Dr. Tara Swart): Evidence We Can Communicate After Death!
    (1:44:15)
A compelling interview from Steven Bartlett of Dr Tara Swart, who is recently bereaved. I'm still only part-way through ut Tara's sincerity and conviction is very convincing.but what really gripped me was the mention of our 34 senses, which has recently been mentioned on another (Bill's) thread, and even more in the posts above.

"What if your brain filters out true reality? World-leading neuroscientist Dr Tara Swart reveals why we have 34 senses, not 5, how grief cracked open her consciousness, and the shocking science behind signs, intuition, and real communication with the dead.

Dr Tara Swart is a renowned neuroscientist, psychiatrist, and senior MIT lecturer who holds a PhD in neuropharmacology. She is also the best selling author of books such as, ‘The Source’ and her newest release, ‘The Signs: The New Science of How to Trust Your Instincts’.

Neuroscientist (Dr. Tara Swart): Evidence We Can Communicate After Death!

A compelling interview from Steven Bartless of Dr Tara Swart, who is recently bereaved.

    She explains:
    • How to decode signs from loved ones who have passed
    • Why most people dismiss near-death experiences, until they see the data
    • How Dr Swart speaks with her husband daily, and what she’s learned
    • The ancient practices and modern neuroscience helping us heal grief
    • Why creativity, numbers, and synchronicities are the hidden language of the soul
    Oh, cool! grapevine.
As you mention, it ties in with the higher senses posted above and on Bill's Q&A thread. I've downloaded it and I'm getting ready to listen.

How Do We Tell Truth From Fiction?
Regina Meredith: The powers are that be, and have been for thousands of years, would prefer you not learn the truth about your magnificent self. Human beings are a magnificent tuning device for truth. Every cell in our body has its own independent truth. It has an ability to make decisions to turn off, to turn on. Every cell in our body is a fractal of our entire being and has the truth embedded within it. We are just simply having problems accessing it now because we're so distracted.

There are simple things that indigenous people knew around the planet. Knew and still know today because they knew how to be quiet, tune in, see what their stomach was saying to them. The heart was saying. See what their liver was saying. Their digestive system was saying.

What I'm saying is that this body is probably one of the most sophisticated tuning devices for truth in the universe. Which is why so many other species are watching us so closely to see if we can make that leap beyond technology. Where we use it as our companion for doing things. But we do not replace our own truth with it.
    ***************
A few decades ago, my soul group guides told me that I would live to see a time in which people were no longer able to tell truth from fiction. That time has arrived.

We are like cats chasing laser beams. Who controls the laser? What are the implications? How do we claim our own truth again? These are the questions we look at in this commentary.

We begin with looking inside, and we end with looking inside - everything else is a distraction, but it's not as easy as it sounds. Stay tuned and let's see what we can do together.

I am very fond of this thread because it is very eclectic and has very intriguing information.

Tonight I am quite amazed about this discussion of a site in Pisgah NC. The story seems to be an unexplainable mystery of the meaning of an ancient American "museum"(?) with amazing artifacts and a repeated destruction of the site. I highly recommend this on many levels because when i tried to find information on my browser there is nothing. I have been finding much new information from "The Occult Rejects".

Proof that Water Holds Memory (1:11)
Show an image to water for around 30 seconds and then freeze it. You will see a reflection of the image.

This is an incredible experiment that proves water holds memory. Water is intelligent and it’s reacting to words. It is consciousness.

Free digitised online books - who's organising it all, and why?

There seem to be several websites around that specialise in providing free electronic copies of books. Some of them seem to have vast collections, and provide books that are still in copyright. What they do is thus presumably in breach of copyright law, though I suppose if they are operating from certain countries then they might not be breaching local laws. These sites seem to get attacked and taken down from time to time, and then re-appear later.

I am curious about what is going on here. It takes quite an organised effort, and lots of labor, to scan in books and digitise them. Many of them seem to have been lifted from US libraries. Does anybody know who is organising this? I am presuming it's the same people who organised the long march through the institutions. There must be thousands of people scanning these books in from libraries and uploading them to various sites.

I mean, it's great for me - I am away from my home country, and being able to have thousands of books on my laptop is a great boon. I've spent thousands over the years on books, maybe tens of thousands of pounds, so I don't have any personal qualms about taking some freebies that I otherwise wouldn't have paid money for anyway. Still, the existence of these sites is gonna make it unviable to have a full-time writing career. So over time, it's bound to collapse the book authoring industry in the same way that the music industry has already been collapsed into vacuous AI crap.

Does anybody have any data on what the purpose is here? It could be people who think making books free makes mankind better off, by making information available to everybody. Or it could be people who know damn well that the long-run outcome will be nobody writes books, unless they are being paid by, say, a university to write them. Either way, it seems to be an organised effort.

Lee Harris shares his experience(s) on access to higher self, soul, wisdom voice:
I just know there is no elsewhere. There are different levels of focus. We can focus in different levels of dimension. Different levels of reality. It's all about where our focus goes.

We all have access to spirit and we all have access to a higher self or our soul and a wisdom voice or a wisdom point that might be the same one we draw from for the friends in our life. But for ourselves, we just never access it. We don't get out of the way.

I've always said if I died and they said, “By the way, the guides was the cover story for God.

    Cool.

I actually don't care about the position of where the information is coming from but what was undeniable to me was it changed my life. It changed my perspective. It didn't make everything perfect immediately because like all of us, I’m a human learning my lessons. But it forever changed what I believed about this reality, and it started to include this other dimension.

I do believe everyone has access to guides. I believe everyone is in relationship with other dimensions. Whether or not they choose to make it conscious…..

One thing I do know, and I think this is the root of so many of our issues, we are all supposed to be here differently. We're all supposed to make up a jigsaw together. We’re all supposed to have slightly different slants, slightly different talents, slightly different abilities, slightly different flaws. That's kind of how we're composed.

So, I don't think it's for everybody to have a spiritual path, but I always say I would rather be trapped in an elevator, with someone who is kind and openhearted than someone who is spiritually learned, and hasn't developed kindness and an open heart. Because to me, the kindhearted person is living with spirit.

There are many people I've met, who are spiritually learned, who are all about the data and sometimes can behave very abusively under the guise of spirituality. So for me, it's not so much about what you believe. It's about how you behave and I think that spirituality has for me, and many others, helped many of us become more aligned with who are truly here to be and shared some of the human stuff that we're carrying.
Everyone is in relationship with other dimensions. We all have access to
spirit and a higher self or our soul.
    ~Lee Harris

Out here in the country, farmers are left wondering what happened to the American Dream. I talk to the farmers around me, cattle ranchers who've been working the land for generations, farms passed down through generations, farmers with hundreds of acres they've inherited from their parents and they all say they're not sure if they're gonna make it, they all say, "land rich and money poor." The system isn't working for them anymore, and they're all quality people, people willing to sell their products on an honor system, that's quality people in my book, that's trust, that's honor, that's why I live here...
