This documentary-exposé on The Carlyle Group was posted on YouTube in 2009. Amazing it's still there considering the infamous "28 pages" are currently so in the news. Worth a watch IMO.

Especially interesting, Steve Norris' candid enthusiasm for how The Carlyle Group came about and their surprisingly good fortune and timing.

I slowed down and near stopped buying from my fave health food store online, Puritans Pride... after I found out they are no longer family owned... (sold out to the Carlyle Group) They will eventually destroy this company... I have noticed already they don't have as many good deals... and I imagine the ingredients will be the next to take a hit... as the corporation seeks to increase their profits... bye bye Puritans Pride...

They were also behind MH370... billions were at stake on those computer chip patents... those poor misguided engineers are dead now... although their immediate families could have claimed interest in their estates... (but that's another story ;-)

Thanks. Interesting to think the Former Secretary of Frank Carlucci, former Secretary of States James Baker and Shafiq Bin Laden were sitting together watching the Twin Towers Fall on 9/11 and that it was the Carlyle Group that brought them together, and the Carlyle Group would probably capitalize on those events more than any other investment group in the world. Pure coincidence, I'm sure.
