This coming from Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor, in both Trump terms, has shared this on X. Sentiment wise I really couldn't agree more, but, how to defeat it would be to continue with Charlie's approach. We do not want the imposition of mass forms of censorship; the work has to be genuinely spiritual. I do hope that this is the spirit in which this has been written - we'll see

There is an ideology that has steadily been growing in this country which hates everything that is good, righteous and beautiful and celebrates everything that is warped, twisted and depraved. It is an ideology at war with family and nature. It is envious, malicious, and soulless. It is an ideology that looks upon the perfect family with bitter rage while embracing the serial criminal with tender warmth. Its adherents organize constantly to tear down and destroy every mark of grace and beauty while lifting up everything monstrous and foul. It is an ideology that leads, always, inevitably and willfully, to violence — violence against those uphold order, who uphold faith, who uphold family, who uphold all that is noble and virtuous in this world. It is an ideology whose one unifying thread is the insatiable thirst for destruction.

We see the workings of this ideology in every posting online cheering the evil assassination that cruelly robbed this nation of one of its greatest men. Postings from those in positions of institutional authority — educators, healthcare workers, therapists, government employees — reveling in the vile and the sinister with the most chilling glee.

The fate of millions depends upon the defeat of this wicked ideology. The fate of our children, our society, our civilization hinges on it.

Now we devote ourselves, with love and unyielding determination, to finishing the indispensable work to which Charlie bravely devoted his life and gave his last measure of devotion.

dim/ dumb comment in my opinion. the live by to sword part. I dont know you but I am sure, when applied to your own self, family or friends, if someone was was attacking them to kill them you would be well thankful that someone shot the mother ****er! This Country is only still free because of our 2nd amendment.

the problem today is very few people seem to apply things to what if it were me? The answer is always so opposite when it is their child being attacked, their home being invaded, their car being hit by someone illegal without insurance, when they own their own store, and the liberal smash and grab takes place at their own loss .

People who are anti-gun, take the position of the victims of crime, after the fact. People who are pro-gun take the position of thwarting the aggressor. Both have incomplete understanding. There really is no resolution here. It's like the abortion issue.

Good observation. If we ban the 2nd Amendment, however, the dynamic of that observation would change. We would close the door absolutely on the position of thwarting the aggressor, while the opposing points of view would merge into the same camp, victims of crime.

If Charlie Kirk said anything of this sort I'm not aware of it at all. I strongly doubt he ever did say this, or 'advocated' it. He was for peace and love and for bringing people together.

Australians have a finely tuned, well-balanced, often used, “bulls**t indicator”. Most people I’ve spoken to in the last 48 hours are well-aware of CC. They’re also very well-aware of the opportunistic propagada-grab from the mainstream media. Nobody trusts them. The people know that there is an attempt to limit truth and freedom of expression in this country. And most Australians whom I’ve listened to are wise to the constant bulls**t that is rammed down our throats 24/7 by mainstream media channels in proxy of the ‘Capitol’ [the Australian Capitol Territory].

In light of the ‘hit’ on CC, the agenda to squash freedom of speech is under a massive floodlight. It’s wide-out in the open. “The emperor has no clothes”. Everyone sees it.

People in the regional towns are talking. I can’t speak for the big cities, but after travelling across the FNQ area in the last two days, I can tell you that people are waking up, and they’re waking up fast.

I think you’ll find that, tragic as this event is, it may very well have awakened an awareness that will ripple through regional towns and key areas. The cities are dependent on those areas for their food and resources. I believe that this is a “turning point” (to purloin a phrase) that will eventually turn out very badly for those entities behind the attempt to shut-down freedom in any form.

He's carrying something wrapped in what looks like black cloth or a jacket. It could be a rifle.

I watched the clip several times and I honestly can't say he wasn't carrying a rifle.

If he really is the shooter and actually used a Mauser 30-06, I must say, that was an incredible shot! Perhaps even a "lucky" shot. There's no way he was inexperienced with guns, especially that specific gun.

It's not impossible that this is what actually happened and this really is the shooter. It's very easy to wander down all the rabbit holes in situations like this. Humans have wild imaginations!

At this point this is what I'm thinking what went down, I can change my mind though if "evidence" steers me in a different direction.

Seems they have their man. Im sure we all saw the press conference. No one knows conspiracy theories better than the members on Avalon, myself included. But I had to remind my friend this morning, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar

Are there oddities here in the story so far? ? There always are. The gun while jumping off the roof? 7000, now up to 11 thousand tips to the Feds? Of course these could be wrong estimates etc.

Rob, as a rule, I normally let these types of comments pass without concern. Please understand that I ask this question with no anger or animosity, but rather pure curiosity. It is my feeling that Martin Luther King put this so succinctly because he understood that love was the only true antidote for hate. Had this young man (or whoever you believe pulled the trigger), had love in their heart instead of hate, Charlie Kirk would still be alive today. This is simply a fact. It may sound a bit trite to you, but often the truth is just as simple as it gets.
