A massive M7.8 earthquake just struck Russia off the Kamchatka peninsula, the third magnitude 78 earthquake in that location in addition to the M8.8 Megaquake of July 29th 2025. A reoccurring coronal hole on the Sun is perfectly syncing up in time with these earthquakes, so is the Sun to blame? Geophysicist Stefan Burns reports.
