Default Incredible Earth and all that lies beyond...

We tend to forget how incredible this Earth is. So consistant for so long, spinning day and night with seasons thst are absolutely nessissary, for eons.
Yes, some disasters but we think it will never end.

How many civilisations have come, lived and are gone and how different they all seemed to have been. There must have been and still are intelligences of unknown kinds for eons of time in different diamentions and unimaginable forms in many different universes in countless varieties and intelects beyond what we can not even imagine.

Some of them may have created galaxies and even us. There are probably some forms of life that are here that we can not even see. The possibilities are endless. They may know more about us than we know about ourselves.

It may be that everything that could possibly exist does exist somewhare.
That makes more sense than we may know.

Question Everything, always speak truth... Make the best of today, for there may not be a tomorrow!!! But, that's OK because tomorrow never comes, so we have nothing to worry about!!!

There is no doubt whatsoever that other civilisations have come and gone over time; there is also no doubt that some civilisations have evolved beyond self-destruction. The next 100 years will probably determine which way humanity goes.

NASA intentionally focused their camera on a very tiny but exceptionally dark (unimpressive) part of space, and this is what it discovered. It truly is mind-boggling.

    Here is the actual image.

Hi R. As ever, I can’t see your [MOV] vid. Pic below looks nice, is that the Deep Field pic or the Ultra Deep one?

I think you are right about your 100 year timeframe. When the electric grid gets shut down by Sun emissions, as our magnetosphere shrinks, Stone Age will again approach. Whatever pockets of preserved tech that remain, IMO will not serve the broader populace.

Many thanks for this wonderful post. Everything you say is so very true, and I think about this literally every day.

There's plenty of opportunity for intelligent life to have evolved elsewhere that may now be a billion or more years ahead of us. They'd have godlike abilities in every way we can imagine, and many we can't. In comparison, we're just so primitive, unintelligent, constrained by ego, competition and simplistic belief systems, and forever in conflict with each other both individually, culturally and nationally.

All truly advanced ETs regard every kind of life as sacred, the beating pulse of an otherwise inanimate universe. That's how consciousness manifests, even in the tiniest insects and little blades of grass.

The Earth's ecosystem is a beautiful, intricate, rare gem. And I feel I have to say, I'm pretty sure that many of the ETs who observe us are much more concerned about that than about us as the dangerous, warring species that's rapidly and systematically destroying it all.

    I'd say 20 years, if not 10.

In either case, the earth will still be here, spinning away and doing its thing for many more eons to come.
