I open up topics such as the meaning of life and the salvation of the soul in the Lord Jesus Christ.

At the end of July 2023, a liner carrying Russian tourists docked at the port of the Georgian city of Batumi. The Georgians met them with a protest action, with insulting shouts.

In addition to this event, we can recall another case when several thousand protesters gathered in the Georgian capital due to the fact that Russian State Duma deputy Sergei Gavrilov took part in the Interparliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy, i.e. a religious event.

And the relevant thing today is that there are a lot of Georgians fighting on the side of Ukraine. As an example, the Georgian National Legion.

These events clearly indicate that some Georgians clearly do not treat Russians very well, to put it mildly. Naturally, the above facts cannot characterize the attitude of the whole of Georgia towards Russia and Russians, so let's immediately move on to the official position of the state itself.

For example, the statements of the current President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, who, after winning the elections in 2018, in her very first interview to completely abandon relations with Russia, as well as act in accordance with instructions from Brussels and Washington.
After that, she directly called Russia an enemy and an occupier, and wrote about it on Facebook on her page.

Hence, the behavior of some Georgian citizens towards Russia is not surprising. After all, if your president directly points out that Russia is an enemy, then this is already inciting national hatred at the state level, i.e. a signal to ordinary citizens about how to treat this state.

And in general, Georgia does not have diplomatic relations with Russia.
Why is this so? After all, for centuries before that, Russia and Georgia were not just allies, we were one country! And we became such at the request of the Georgians themselves for their admission to the Russian Empire, more than 200 years ago.

What happened after that? What caused the discord between our countries, which were once a single territory? Many people will point to Abkhazia and South Ossetia as a template for this question. But, no. the right answer, the really right one, is completely different, hidden and forgotten. And this answer, if correctly stated, should dot the "I" and improve Russian-Georgian relations.

But before we voice it, let's remember the background of the relationship.

THE HISTORY OF RELATIONS BETWEEN RUSSIA AND GEORGIA
There is a saying in Russia: "If I knew the draw (i.e. hidden cards in a card game), I would live in Sochi." Geographically, Georgia is a Big Sochi. A truly heavenly place to live in terms of climate. In the Soviet Union, one of the best places to relax (Gagra). By the way, Gagra does not belong to Georgia today, we will discuss this in more detail later.

There is such a field of science as bioclimatology. So, bioclimatologists believe that the best climate for human health is subtropical. In Russia, the subtropics include only one city, Sochi.

Moreover, Sochi is the northernmost city of the subtropics. So Georgia is located to the south of it, partly on the Black Sea coast.

Interesting fact: on the territory of Georgia, the oldest human remains on Earth outside of Africa have been found, dating back 1 million 800 thousand years (That's what scientists say, but the earth isn't a million years old. If you're interested, you can read why: https://projectavalon.net/forum4/sho...=1#post1687232), which once again confirms a favorable environment for human habitation.

Well, of course, the famous Caucasian centenarians are also an example of this.

The history of Georgia dates back several millennia. And the first signs of statehood are attributed to the Colchian kingdom (but historians have disputes here, and we will skip this period).

An important date in the history of Georgia is 326 AD, when the country adopted Christianity. There are also disputes about the date of adoption of Christianity, but in any case, this is the fourth century. Russia will accept Christianity only 662 years later, i.e. more than six centuries later.

Today, about 90% of the Georgian population professes Orthodoxy, i.e., just like in Russia (we have the majority of Orthodox believers). Georgia is the second country in the world after Armenia to adopt Christianity as the state religion. Thus, the Georgian Orthodox Church is one of the oldest Christian churches.

The peak of Georgia's power occurred in the XI-XII centuries. And in fact, only this time is the period when Georgia was truly a united and sovereign state. In 1490 It finally split into three kingdoms: Kartli, Kakheti and Imereti. Since then, until Georgia joined the Russian Empire, there was no unified Georgia.

The trouble of the Georgian people is that they were unlucky with their southern neighbors: the territory of Georgia was constantly subjected to aggression from Persia and the Ottoman Empire; the Mongol-Tatars and the Arab Caliphate also reached Georgia, which, naturally, imposed their values, including religion - Islam.

Here we must understand that for people of that time, faith in God meant much more than it does now. It was the foundation, the backbone on which the state was based. Therefore, the Muslim Ottoman and Persian Empires were the worst enemies for the Georgians, as well as for the Armenians. The people of another religion, as they say, it was a sin not to have a nightmare. Robberies, murders, and the enslavement of people - all this was experienced by the small but proud Georgian people, until another powerful Orthodox state grew up in the north, capable of resisting the Persians and Turks. This is, of course, Russia.

Diplomatic relations between our countries were established at the end of the XV century under Ivan III, when the ambassadors of the one-faith (Georgia) arrived at the prince's court, who delivered a letter from Tsar Alexander I of the Bagration dynasty, and even then asked for help in the fight against the Ottomans.

Then there were appeals to Ivan the Terrible for protection, but he was busy with his wars, namely, at that time, the Livonian one.
After that, there was hope for Peter I.

And here it is worth saying that this is not an exaggeration - requests for help. At that time, the Ottomans simply humiliated the Caucasian people, enslaved Georgian boys and girls, and sold them all over Europe.

Here are the concrete facts, as they say: in a letter to Peter the Great, Georgian Patriarch Domentius IV pointed out the lawlessness of the Ottomans, who "plundered icons, crosses, burned churches, exterminated many Christian souls, and devastated towns and villages."

    And here's another important fact.
In a letter published by Professor Valerian Macharadze, King Solomon I of Imereti wrote to the commander of Kizlyar, Potapov, when the Turks demanded that he send 90 of the best boys and girls for the harem, that he would not do this, despite the fact that the Turks had sent troops ravaging the villages of Western Georgia. Solomon offered the Turkish Sultan even more gold and silver as tribute, rather than supply "Christian souls" as slaves. And Solomon I asked for military assistance from Catherine II in exchange for his own renunciation of the throne.

And here is the famous letter from Georgian Tsar Heraclius II to Empress Catherine the Great, on the eve of the signing of the Treaty of St. George, thanks to which part of Georgia went under the protectorate and patronage of the Russian Empire.

    December 21, 1782, Tiflis.

"Most illustrious, most sovereign Great Empress Empress Ekaterina Alekseevna, autocrat of All Russia, most Gracious Empress.

We have waited for these most auspicious times, in which the great mercy of your Imperial Majesty has shone upon us., .................."

Please note how happy the Georgian tsar is that he has received protection from Russia.:

"Your Imperial Majesty, through your most sacred thoughts, I ask you most earnestly to recognize your slaves, me and my children, as such, your most sincere slaves, who at all times, according to your highest and most gracious commands, are ready and obedient and wish, if possible, to render their services as diligently as their own lives."

And the letter ends with these words:
    "my dear slave Heraclius."

That's how Russia "occupies" foreign lands.

But the territories of modern Georgia became fully part of the Russian Empire a little later. And what is important is in parts. That is, there was no united Georgia. Its modern territory was created by the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union.

And strangely enough, Georgia's entry into Russia is being presented by pro-Western figures as a kind of occupation. As an example, former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili in 2005, at a rally in Tbilisi in honor of George W. Bush's visit to Georgia, pointed out that for centuries Georgia had been the scene of many invaders who had brought blood, destruction and torture to the Georgian people.
He also mentioned Russia among the aggressors.

This is a deliberate distortion of history! But in fact, as it was said, the Georgians themselves repeatedly asked the Russian Empire for help and protection.

Here is another excerpt from the manifesto of Emperor Alexander I on September 12, 1801.
"The predatory nations surrounding you (i.e. the Georgians) were ready to attack your kingdom and tear apart its remnants…Standing in this abyss, you have repeatedly called for Russian protection. The entry of our troops has halted your death by intimidating all the predators that infest the Caucasus Mountains. The sedition among you has subsided, and all of you have unanimously and solemnly called on the Russian government to govern you directly.… It is not for the gain of strength, nor for greed, nor for the expansion of the limits of the empire, which is already vast in the world, that We accept the burden of governing the Kingdom of Georgia."

By the way, speaking of Russia, it is important to understand that it has a completely different type of empire building than Western countries. The Russian Empire annexed the lands neither as colonies nor as territories with natives, on which it is possible to earn money by draining natural resources. By annexing peoples, the Russian Empire made them equal with other subjects, with the same rights as the rest of the territories. Except for some transitional periods.

As proof, so to speak, of reinforced concrete, there is the manifesto of Paul I on the situation of Georgia within the Russian Empire. By the way, this manifesto, among other things, mentions the Georgian kingdom for the first time (before that, these lands were called Kartli and Kakheti). But in order not to overload the brain, I call them "Georgia". And by the way, the Georgians themselves called and still call their country "Sakartvelo", that is, "the country of the Kartveli people", because the Kartli region is considered the cradle of the Georgian people.
"And we hereby declare by Our Imperial word that after the annexation of the Kingdom of Georgia for eternal times under Our Empire, not only will all the rights, advantages and property lawfully belonging to everyone be granted and will be preserved intact, to Our dear new subjects of the Kingdom of Georgia and all its subordinate regions, but that from now on every national state of the above-mentioned regions have the right to enjoy those rights, liberties, benefits and advantages that the ancient Russian subjects, by the grace of Our ancestors and Ours, enjoy under Our protection."

Yes, the language of that time is a little unclear, but I think you've got the point: Georgia was part of Russia with exactly the same rights and privileges as other territories. When Georgia joined the Russian Empire, the entire Georgian nobility was equated to the Russian, which is why the number of princes in the Russian Empire immediately increased by an order of magnitude.

In general, Georgia gradually became part of the Russian Empire. Since then, neither the Iranian nor the Turkish invasions of Georgia have been threatened. The country began to flourish and strengthen. And what is important, at the same time, it was constantly gaining territories that Russia was winning back for it. During the wars against the Turks and Persians, Alexander I, Nicholas I and Alexander II annexed the Georgian Kingdom of its lands, which had been under foreign occupation for centuries. If it were not for Russia, Georgia's territory would be smaller today, more than half.
By 1913, Tiflis (today Tbilisi is the capital of Georgia) was a fully developed modern city. There were even ten power plants in the city.

Further, as you know, two revolutions are taking place in Russia. As a result, the Bolsheviks came to power the second time. At that time, the Mensheviks invaded Georgia and tried to create an independent state, asking for help from Turkey and Germany. Who, in turn, are happy to come and rob the Georgian people, as they have done before.

As a result, the establishment of the power of the Bolsheviks, who were associated with Greater Russia, was a matter of time, and Georgia's further entry into the USSR was perceived as the restoration of the country, the return home. As a result, the USSR was formed in 1922, where the territory of Georgia became part of it.

Today, the Georgian authorities present their country's presence, both as part of the Soviet Union and the Russian Empire, as a kind of occupation. And if you look at the facts, then this position looks like schizophrenia. This is not just a distortion of facts, it is also, so to speak, gaslighting, misleading the Georgian people, explaining that black is actually white and vice versa.

In general, the true creator of the Soviet Union, the one that we know, is none other than the Georgian Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin, aka Dzhugashvili, a native of the Georgian city of Gori.

Look: Lenin, who is considered the creator of the USSR, died almost immediately after its formation in 1924. The country's further development took place under the leadership of Stalin and his team. And here, on the contrary, if we rush to nationalist extremes and accuse them of occupation, then there will be many questions for the Georgians.
Everyone knows perfectly well how Stalin and Beria (also a Georgian) are being slaughtered and accused of destroying and repressing the Russian people.

Nevertheless, Stalin's name is respected in Russia. For many, he is an authority, an example of what a politician should be. And there are no complaints about the Georgians. Yes, of course, it's probably worth clarifying that it's not right to equate the Georgian people and the Georgian government. And so that there are no misunderstandings, when I talk about Georgia, I primarily mean the government of this country. Although, as they say, every nation deserves its ruler, especially the people of Georgia themselves voted for the same Saakashvili.

So, the Soviet Union, which is considered to be a Russian occupation in Georgia, was created and ruled by a Georgian.

But this Georgian was also slandered in his homeland, his monuments are being demolished, and in his hometown, in a museum dedicated to him, the guides say that he was a tyrant and a bloodsucker. And this is being done now.

Why this is so natural, we'll look further. In the meantime, let's talk a little more about Georgia being part of the USSR.

HOW GEORGIA LIVED AS PART OF THE USSR AND HOW IT HEALED AFTER BECOMING INDEPENDENT. comparison.

I have often heard that Georgia had a privileged position in the Soviet Union. And according to the facts, this is indeed the case.

Per capita consumption in Georgia was four times higher than production.

For comparison, in the industrially developed RSFSR, these indicators were approximately equal, but more often consumption still lagged, i.e. the Georgian republic consumed more than it produced. Moreover, it was the leader in this imbalance among other republics. That is, Georgia worked the least, but received the most. This is due, in my opinion, to the resort location of the region.

Now imagine if the USSR had survived, how would Georgians live today?

Based on this, from the situation that was in the Soviet Union, the nineties are perceived in Georgia as a nightmare. And it's not even about the civil war that began after independence. It's just that living conditions turned into hell against the backdrop of the imposing life of the Soviet period: when Georgian resorts were visited by millions of vacationers, and people from the republic traded fruits and flowers throughout the cities of the Union. After gaining the long-awaited independence, according to the stories of the residents of Georgia themselves, there was no heating or hot water in their country, pensioners froze to death in their apartments in winter. The apartments had iron stoves, which were heated with firewood.

In 2005, Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania (many call this case a contract killing, but nevertheless) was poisoned to death in his apartment by carbon monoxide from such a "bourgeoisie". Can you imagine what was happening in the country?

Hot water was supplied to Georgian homes only in 2011. Before that, the population used boilers.
In some high—rise buildings, elevators are still paid (!) - to go up, you need to put a coin in the receiver.

    These are Saakashvili's democratic reforms!

In the Soviet Union, industry was actively developing in Georgia, as well as in other republics, factories, schools, and institutes were being built. We all know and respect the great Georgian cultural figures. Even today, Russian society treats Georgians well (about five hundred thousand Georgians live in Russia).

By the time the USSR collapsed, 5.5 million people lived in Georgia. Today - 3 million 700 thousand.

Graph of the population of Georgia before 1991 under the occupation of the USSR, and after 1991, the withdrawal from the occupation of the USSR.

I also think that it is a very important indicator of how Georgians lived under the “occupation” and how they live independently now. For some reason, the population was growing then, but now the Georgians are dying out.

Well, this is a purely economic indicator. Here is a look at the graph of Georgia's GDP. What it was like during the so-called "occupation" and what it became after independence.

Georgia's GDP chart (open the same enemy Wikipedia site that likes to distort everything when it comes to Russia)

⏩ During the Great Patriotic War, the peoples of the Georgian SSR stood up to defend their homeland.

⏩ About 700,000 natives of Georgia participated in the war, which made up 1/5 of the republic's population.
⏩ 137 citizens living in the Georgian SSR were awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union for their military exploits, among them Meliton Kantaria, who, together with Sergeant M. A. Egorov, hoisted the Victory Banner on the roof of the Reichstag building.

As a result, and this is unequivocal, for centuries, both in the Russian Empire and in the USSR, Georgia and its people lived as part of one whole: a single elite, a single faith, common enemies and common friends. The Georgian and Russian people are much more spiritually and culturally united than they are separated.

So we lived and were friends for several centuries, and then bam! The official authorities of the once friendly territory call Russia an enemy.
    What happened?

HOW DID RUSSIA BECOME AN ENEMY FOR GEORGIA?

Russia has a traitor of all times and peoples - this is Mikhail Gorbachev, with whose arrival the destruction of the USSR state began. By the way, his team included the future President of Georgia Shevardnadze, i.e. he was one of the leaders of the USSR.

So with the arrival of Gorbachev, the state began to engage in self-destruction. Everything that a normal country prohibits on its territory in order to protect it from collapse was allowed in the Soviet Union. This includes separatist nationalist movements, which exist in almost every country. Just let it go, there will definitely be figures who will start telling you how to live well as an independent and that the center only robs: "Now we'll be free and we'll live like in a fairy tale." And nationality doesn't even have anything to do with it - just give up, people will break up into independent villages and streets. Which, in fact, began to happen in the Soviet Union.
So, in 1989, traitors were in power in the USSR. The country is, in fact, anarchy. In all the republics, nationalists began to blame all the troubles on the center, Moscow. The same thing is happening in the center: they say that the whole trouble is because of the communists and the fact that other republics, such as Georgia, are allegedly being fed.

In Georgia itself, rallies for independence are held under the slogans: "Down with the Communist regime!", "Down with Russian imperialism!", "The USSR is a prison of nations!", "Down with Soviet power!".

At the same time, no one said that electricity, gas, oil and subsidies are supplied to Georgia from Russia. Conversely, Georgia's products are exclusively focused on the north.

This short-sightedness of Georgians in the 90s paid off very much: after the collapse of the USSR in Georgia
▶️ real salaries decreased 10 times,
    ▶️ industrial production by 50%.

On April 9, 1989, a rally of thousands in the Georgian capital, organized by nationalists, was dispersed with the help of the Soviet army, resulting in the death of 21 people.

And just think about it: the head of state, Mikhail Gorbachev, himself laid all the blame for the victims on the Soviet army!
He made a direct gift to the nationalists who accuse the Soviet government, which allegedly ordered soldiers to stab peaceful demonstrators with sapper shovels. People picked it up and spread it. In fact, of course, the situation was different: people died stupidly because of the crush.

This event greatly influenced the public mood and the future of Georgia. The process of consolidation of Georgian society around the ideas of national independence has begun. In general, the separation from the USSR.

In memory of the tragic events of April 9, 1989, Georgia celebrates the "Day of National Unity, Civil Accord and Memory of those who died for their Homeland in Georgia."

By the way, if the Georgians blame the Soviet leadership for allegedly ordering the killing of peaceful protesters, then they should not forget to blame Shevardnadze, who was sitting in the Politburo at the time and apparently ordered the liquidation of the Georgians. Shevardnadze, who later became President of Georgia.

But one way or another, the blame was laid on Moscow. And as a result, partly as a result of this event, nationalists come to power in Georgia, who together with them brought hatred of Russia to the power structures. This is where the foundation of Russophobia is being formed, on which a future state will be built, in which the seeds of hostility towards Russia are sown in the heads of the Georgian people.

WHAT LAW DID GEORGIA VIOLATE WHEN LEAVING THE USSR?

It should be noted that the people of Georgia, like all other Soviet citizens, really wanted changes. Gorbachev's perestroika, on the one hand, brought the country to a deplorable state, and on the other hand, gave free rein to lawlessness. As it was said, nationalist forces took advantage of this, promising many good things if Georgia would be independent from Moscow.

Meanwhile, an All-Union referendum on the preservation of the USSR was being prepared in the USSR. The Georgian authorities of that time, naturally, violating the laws and rights of the country's residents, banned this referendum, preventing people from expressing their position. Instead, a referendum was held in March 1991 to restore Georgia's independence. And the people who want change voted overwhelmingly for independence.

And then the fun begins. The Georgian Republic included 3 autonomous republics, including South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

The autonomous republics in the USSR had a special status. And this is very important! Very, very important: when any republic secedes from the USSR, in autonomous republics according to the law, (I repeat: according to the law!) It was necessary to hold referendums so that those, in turn, would decide for themselves how to live on: as part of, say, Georgia, the USSR, or also independently.

That is, when Georgia was seceding from the USSR, according to the USSR law on the withdrawal of the Union republics from the Union, referendums had to be held in Abkhazia and South Ossetia so that the people of these territories could decide their own fate.

And here the information is even more important: all these wars in the post-Soviet space that are taking place today: Nagorno-Karabakh, Donbass, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Transnistria - because they were not given the opportunity to legally determine their status.

Or rather, the whole world didn't give a damn about their wish. I repeat once again: like it or not, according to the law, and according to the right way, upon leaving the Soviet Union, it was necessary to hold referendums in the autonomous republics to find out what the people of a particular autonomy want.

It turned out, of course, hypocritically: when Georgia left the USSR, it defined its borders according to the laws of the USSR, but when it left, it didn't give a damn about the order. That is, the authorities of this republic observed only those rules that they like. It was because of this lawlessness that wars broke out.

In connection with the above information, I anticipate reproaches towards Russia about the fact that some people will point out that there is Chechnya, which allegedly also wanted independence.

First of all, this video is about Georgia. But I'll probably do an analysis about Chechnya, too. It is only worth mentioning here that a referendum was held in Chechnya, where the inhabitants overwhelmingly voted for a single state with Russia. Which is where we all live together today.

Secondly, those who want to point to Chechnya are also talking about Ukraine. That is, for those who have a united Georgia and Abkhazia, there should also be a united Ukraine and Russia. Why not? Georgia claims the lands of South Ossetia, and Russia claims the lands of Ukraine. Or is it different?

And one more thing to note about hypocrisy. Look, the Soviet army cannot suppress separatism in Georgia, i.e. on its territory, from the point of view of the Georgians - it is not right. The Georgians consider the dispersal of a rally by the Soviet Army in 1989 to be a crime, but the Georgian side considers similar actions against Abkhazia by Georgia to be normal. Why?

Although these are not even similar actions. They would have been similar if the Soviet army had not dispersed the rally, but had started a war against Georgia. That is, the Soviet state could not have fought and suppressed separatism in Georgia for its integrity. And Georgia can fight separatism. Why?

And here's another important thing: she started the war for Georgia's territorial integrity, so to speak, being an unrecognized state.

It doesn't matter, though. I am generally against any kind of separatism. We had a single country, the Soviet Union, with a decision-making center in Moscow.
    He was eliminated purposefully.
All the republics withdrew from it illegally.
So, according to international law, these very republics must come together and restore the union. But if you are going to leave the USSR, then please follow the exit procedure, which, by the way, is still relevant in terms of borders.

Yes, that is, we all need to get together today, admit that all the troubles are due to the collapse of the USSR, stop wars and start holding referendums so that the autonomies and former republics of the USSR determine their territorial status correctly. In the Union State, separately or with which-
or another republic. That's it. It's the right thing to do.

So while Georgia wanted independence, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, as well as, say, Nagorno-Karabakh, also wanted to make their choice. And some of them held their own referendums, i.e. they did the same thing as Georgia, Ukraine, and the Baltic countries. But unlike the Union republics, no one took into account the opinion of the autonomous republics. And the same Georgia, represented by the new nationalist leadership, began to suppress them for what it fought for itself - for the right of self-determination.

In general, what happened? The new leadership of Georgia says: "We want to live separately. This is our right to self-determination." Abkhazia and South Ossetia immediately make similar statements and steps. But the new leadership of Georgia declares: "What you have is different and you can't have it."

The newly minted President Gamsakhurdia did not listen to the wishes of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, so he generally declared that the Abkhazian nation did not exist, that it was all the territory of Georgia, and other nationalist slogans were also expressed, which were negatively perceived in Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

Also, what is important, at the same time, a civil war begins on the territory of Georgia against the background of a decline in living standards, as a result of the political crisis.

Looking at this, on July 23, 1992, the Supreme Court of Abkhazia annulled the Constitution of the Republic of Abkhazia in 1978 and restored the Constitution of the SSR of Abkhazia in 1925, which raised the status of the Republic of Abkhazia within Georgia from autonomous to contractual. This was not recognized by the central leadership of Georgia. And on August 14, 1992, military operations began between Georgia and Abkhazia, which escalated into a real war with the use of aviation, artillery and other types of weapons.

Concerning South Ossetia, then it initially tried to join Russia.

On January 19, 1992, a referendum was held in South Ossetia on two issues:

    1. Do you agree that the Republic of South Ossetia should be independent?
    2. and do you agree with the decision of the Supreme Council of the independent Republic of South Ossetia of September 20, 1991 on reunification with Russia?
More than 98% answered "yes" to both questions.
But, as we can see, Russia was in no hurry to annex South Ossetia. This suggests that Russia did not take any part in these tragic events and was not going to occupy anyone, as they say now.

Moreover, the occurrences The incorporation of Adjara autonomy into Georgia took place with the help of Russia. This is also a very important fact! Adjara also tried to become independent. But in fact, it did not become Georgian. Now this territory has gone under the influence of the Turks.

As a result, the collapse of the USSR brought great grief to the inhabitants of Transcaucasia: Georgians, Ossetians, and Abkhazians. There is another conversation about Armenians and Azerbaijanis. But the point is the same.

If we talk about who is right and who is legally to blame, then the main fault lies with the leadership of the USSR. Namely, Gorbachev and his team, which included Shevardnadze. It was Gorbachev who brought all the sacrifices, wars, and all the grief that the Soviet people endured! I have a separate discussion about him.

Further, the blame lies with the Union republics: nationalists came to power in them, and under populist slogans seized power lawlessly and declared themselves independent. When the territories they considered their own decided to do the same, the nationalists started civil wars.

    And these are just facts.

The military conflicts on the territory of Georgia were settled in a few years. The armed conflict in South Ossetia was ended in 1992, and in Abkhazia in 1994. The fighting stopped, but the cause of the problem remained unresolved. Abkhazia and Ossetia declared their independence, and the Georgians began to consider them their uncontrolled territories. To prevent the conflict from flaring up again, peacekeeping forces were deployed to these republics. Including Russian ones. And what is important is that this is all by agreement with Georgia, meaning no one has occupied these territories!

MIKHAIL SAAKASHVILI AND THE DREAMS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION

That's how they lived until 2003, when Mikhail Saakashvili, an extremely pro-Western man, came to power as a result of a coup.

Saakashvili, who defended liberal ideology in Georgia in the 90s, was looked after by Western intelligence agencies, given a grant, and sent to the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg. A year later, as a scholarship holder of the US Department of State, he was sent to study at Columbia University (New York), where he received a master's degree in Law in 1994. He studied at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and interned at the Academy of European Law in Florence and the Academy of International Law in The Hague.

He worked at the Norwegian Institute of Human Rights in Oslo, then at the New York law firm Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler, which provided legal support for American oil and gas projects in the CIS.

And here, in order to understand what is happening between Georgians and Russians, it is important to realize that after the collapse of the USSR, the world became unipolar, led by the Americans. That is, Russia entered the American unipolar world as a kind of province, a periphery. Russia has become a neo-colony since 1991. And there's nothing to say about little Georgia.

The 90s were the heyday of the unipolar American world. And similar training courses were given by people who were selected by the United States to implement their values. They were recruited, so to speak, so that later they would be some kind of burgomasters, collaborators heading the colonial administration; they were overseers from the mother country in their countries.

By the way, tens of thousands of people have also received similar training in Russia. Here is an example of a well-known photo with figures from the 90s who were trained in the West, and then actively introduced them to Russia. And they successfully implemented it! I think the name Chubais speaks volumes (anyone who has read my article about the collapse of the USSR knows who this person is).

And here I would like to emphasize that this is not conspiracy theory at all. No one hides these facts about the fact that such a US policy is aimed at spreading and introducing American liberal values. And here the main thing is to understand the essence: this is how the United States is trying to rule the whole world. They don't put their own citizens in management positions in the colonies, but take people from among the natives, educate them and put them in leadership positions. If it is not possible to introduce their own people as a result of the elections, then they simply carry out a coup.

By the way, we have an analogue of Saakashvili, a man who was also trained, i.e. recruited in the West, is Alexei Navalny.

So, Mikhail Saakashvili was trained in the West to defend the interests of the West in Georgia. And naturally, he easily got into the power structures.

And here are some very important facts: many people around the world at that time, both in Georgia and in Russia, so to speak, did not care about national interests and frantically sought the patronage of the West, thinking that it (the West) had some kind of special management model, which would be happy to implement. all over the world. They immediately give some examples: here is South Korea, here is Japan, here is Taiwan, etc.

Saakashvili, Navalny and others had the same rhetoric. They say, they say, let's just bend under the USA. Let them rule us, but we will live well, like European countries.

And here, by the way, it should be clear that after leaving the USSR, Georgia did not actually gain independence. On the contrary, she went into slavery to the West. And many Georgians don't even know about it.

So, what is the problem with this very slavery? Mikhail Saakashvili and other political figures, such as the current president of Georgia, in fact, say that Georgia is little influenced by the West. If we obey them even more, then they will accept us into the European Union, like Poland. And then we will definitely heal!

In general, purely from a mercantile point of view, this is an option. Well, let there be gay pride parades in Tbilisi once a year, but we will receive subsidies from the European Union. That's what part of the establishment of “independent” Georgia thinks.

Yes. But the trouble is that the West does not live relatively well because it has a special political model, independent courts and freedom of speech. The main secret of the West, which all the peoples of the world should understand, is that they - the United States and the countries of Western Europe - are predators who have been robbing other countries for centuries. Previously, this was done physically: they conquered the territory, imposed tribute, took out slaves and natural resources and made money on it.

This has been happening for centuries. And naturally, Europe grew richer from this, factories, enterprises, beautiful houses were built with this money, science developed, etc.

Now the West is robbing the world through the dollar and the euro. These currencies are accepted all over the world. Including in Georgia. The United States can print dollars against the so-called debts of the state, that is, just as much as they wanted - they printed as much.

With this money, you can buy products, technologies, and natural resources. Including in Georgia.

What does that mean? And this means outright robbery. That is, the West has been robbing the rest of the world, and continues to rob. Including Georgia. And so that this situation does not change, the United States and Europe are preparing national traitors, such as Saakashvili, Navalny, Tikhonovskaya, etc., so that the world will continue to remain enslaved to the Anglo-Saxons.

And now what does the pro-Western government in Georgia want? She wants to become part of the West. It reminds me of the picture when the ram sat down at the table with the wolves with the phrase: "Now we are one family."

    Now we are one family

Why should the West turn Georgia, a small cash cow, into a prosperous country by sending money stolen from other countries there? They still need to feed their vassals. Especially now, when the unipolar world is collapsing and more and more countries are abandoning the dollar. Fortunately, Georgia understands this too, and the ruling party is slowly beginning to resist the orders of the United States.

In general, the main thing here is to understand that the West does not have any proper institutions of power that will lead to the prosperity of a particular country if they are implemented there. Their main secret is that they have been robbing the rest of the world for several centuries. And they tell stupid natives that, they say, you need to defeat corruption, that you lack democracy, LGBT representatives, freedom of speech, privatization, etc. By the way, privatization is one of the first points. This is how Western companies use printed dollars to take away from the natives everything that their grandfathers and great-grandfathers created. They keep what is important to them, and destroy the rest so that there are no competitors for Western companies. This is what happened to Soviet industry. The Soviet Union was the first to produce airplanes, and after privatization, the Americans bought everything, destroyed it, and that's it - there is no competitor to American Boeing.

That is, once again: bending to the west, prosperity is not worth waiting for. As for countries such as Estonia, which the West has accepted into its membership, so to speak, and even allocates money that is siphoned off from the rest of the world, this phenomenon is just a kind of showcase, a carrot in front of the natives. They say, there are examples that if you bend to the West, they will give you money.

But the Baltic States, firstly, are a small country, and their numbers are gradually decreasing. That is, they don't need a lot of money. Also, the Baltic States are still closer to Europe, and they have a strategically important position between Russia and Europe. Plus, the Baltic nations are more accommodating to the white gentleman from Washington.: Were they told to implement LGBT values? No questions asked. Here you go - we will elect an openly gay man as president.

Is it necessary to hate Russia? We will hate you even more.

It is a little more difficult with the Georgian people: LGBT is being introduced with difficulty, since Orthodoxy is very reputable in the country. And the Caucasian people themselves are straightforward, have national pride and will not openly bend to other people's values. Therefore, Georgians will never be in the European Union.

And then think about it: who measures the level of corruption, the presence of this very democracy? Foreign Western companies! As an example, a German company Transparency International.

That is, there is no objective data anywhere. The West itself determines where there is corruption and where there is none. And naturally, if their man comes to power in any country, then Western analytical companies begin to praise him: they say, there is less corruption in the country under his leadership, and more democracy. This, by the way, was done in relation to the period of Mikhail Saakashvili's rule - they raised various ratings artificially, that's all.

Conversely, as they say, there is no democracy in Russia. Although the same Putin has been democratically elected for all his terms. No one can dispute that. And what is important is according to the laws and the Constitution. This is also surprising, but even in Russia they believe that Putin allegedly violated the Constitution. No. Including this term, Putin legally holds office and is democratically elected in elections, according to the basic law. People go and vote for him. Anyone who says otherwise is either outright lying or a fool.

SAAKASHVILI IN POWER AND HIS DEMOCRATIC REFORMS

So, let's get back to Georgia.

On November 2, 2003, the pro-presidential bloc For New Georgia, i.e. the bloc of the current President Shevardnadze, won the parliamentary elections. But Shevardnadze, though an American puppet, is, so to speak, mature, with training, having passed the Soviet political school. Therefore, he was not going to defend American interests more fiercely than the Americans.

But the other bloc, the National Movement, which included Saakashvili, loved the West much more than Georgia. Thus, Saakashvili was nicer to the Western establishment. But unfortunately, he lost the election. What to do? Right. To say that the elections were rigged.

Immediately after the elections, on November 3, the Georgian television company Rustavi-2, which, by the way, is registered offshore in the Virgin Islands, i.e. controlled by the West, released exit poll data, according to which Mikhail Saakashvili's opposition bloc, the National Movement, was in the lead in the voting.

Well, then according to the methodology of the color revolutions: rallies, protests, accusations of corruption, etc. Thus Shevardnadze resigns as president, and Saakashvili takes his post.

Then there is the introduction of liberal ideology and LGB values (there have already been several attempts to hold a gay pride parade in Georgia). Georgia is one of the few countries in the former Soviet Union that explicitly prohibits discrimination against all LGBT people. Naturally, Saakashvili announces privatization, that is, the transfer of the property of the Georgian people into the hands of multinational companies; various reforms, which, as they say today, transformed Georgia, made it Western and civilized. In fact, nothing has changed dramatically for the Georgian people. Saakashvili, so to speak, painted only the facade: he ostentatiously built high-rise buildings, the embankment in Batumi, etc. If you go further into the courtyards, there is ruin and poverty.

Here is an indicator for me: many Georgian refugees who fled South Ossetia and Abkhazia 30 years ago still have not received housing and live in crumbling barracks.

Meanwhile, Saakashvili talks about how he transformed Georgia. Journalists, and they are almost all pro-Western, broadcast these words as the truth and thus create the right picture of the Democratic president. But in Georgia, the TV could not defeat an empty refrigerator, so Saakashvili's rating gradually fell down: from 73% it fell to 14%.

And, as everyone knows, at this time, the main country in the world is the United States. And the goal of the elite of this country is to preserve its hegemony by all means so that the world does not abandon the dollar and through its issuance it is possible to continue to plunder this very world.

But in Russia, with the advent of Putin, the liberation processes from the unipolar American world began. Some kind of strengthening of the state has begun. This is naturally unacceptable for the United States. Therefore, it is extremely important for them to create an unstable situation around the borders of Russia in order to create more problems for our country. And then Saakashvili comes to power in Georgia, who agrees to everything for American cookies. Including playing the role of a mini-Hitler in Transcaucasia.

    THE FIVE-DAY WAR

After becoming president, Saakashvili immediately promises to return Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

In other words, like Hitler in the book "Mein Kampf", he promised to go against Russia, which kept the peace in this region. Think for yourself: how can you return, in fact, already someone else's territory, and even in 5 years? Naturally, only by force. And Saakashvili did not hide it. To achieve this goal, he saw the creation of a strong army.: "We must understand that in order to unite the country, the foundation of the state must be strengthened by serious armed forces," Saakashvili said.

In general, the West was lucky with the puppet - she agreed to start a war. Further, the NATO bloc actively began to pump Georgia with weapons: to rearm it, to train it. And this is very important! These facts perfectly show Saakashvili's strategy. From 2003 to 2008, Georgia's military budget increased 24.5 times. Also, naturally, Georgia has actively begun to strive to join the NATO military bloc itself.

In general, the Georgian army was equipped with the latest weapons, increased and strengthened. Preparations for the war were underway.

In 2007, Putin delivered his famous speech in Munich, in which he openly spoke out against the unipolar world, i.e. against the United States.

    Putin (Munich, 2007):

What is a unipolar world? No matter how this term is decorated, it ultimately means only one thing in practice: it is one center of power, one center of power, one center of decision-making.
This is a world of one master, one sovereign. And this is ultimately disastrous not only for everyone who is within the framework of this system, but also for the sovereign himself.

From that moment on, everything finally became clear with Russia: it does not want to be a neo-colony and is looking for allies to create a new world order. Therefore, it became obvious that Russia needs to be contained in various ways.

On August 8, 2008, at 0:15 a.m., without declaring war, Georgia subjected the capital of South Ossetia, Tskhinvali, to massive multiple rocket launchers. They deliberately targeted the city itself, killing civilians.

Saakashvili, unlike Western intelligence agencies, had slightly different goals for the war, not geopolitical ones. As mentioned, his rating was falling dramatically, because he was engaged only in populism, not in the development of the country. And he really tried to return South Ossetia to Georgia and gain fame as a collector of Georgian lands. Saakashvili did not go to Abkhazia, because these lands were more difficult to conquer. But South Ossetia is small, as the Georgian authorities thought, it would be up to them.

Objectively speaking, Saakashvili most likely did not want to fight with Russia - the weight categories are completely different. He only wanted to capture South Ossetia.

At that time, as you know, the liberal Medvedev became president of Russia. And, apparently, according to Saakashvili and his handlers, the Georgian army, trained and armed by the NATO bloc, will quickly enter South Ossetia, capture it without coming into conflict with Russian peacekeepers and thus win. President Medvedev will throw up his hands and say, "Well, what can I do? What came out came out."

But it turned out differently. As a result of the Georgian attack, Russian peacekeepers also came under fire. Which, I repeat, were there legally under an international agreement in which Georgia itself participated. And so, violating this treaty, Georgia attacks the Russian army. In addition to the army, Ossetians were subjected to genocide, most of whom were Russian citizens, as Ossetia aspired to become part of Russia and its citizens received Russian citizenship en masse.

In short, by order of the Commander-in-chief, the Russian army is sent to South Ossetia and has been fighting with the Georgian army for several days. As a result, on August 11, the Georgian army retreats (in fact, it goes on the run). And Medvedev is curtailing the military operation to force peace.

Although think about it: but Russia could not stop and go to Tbilisi to finish off the Georgian army! That's when Saakashvili's decision to attack the Russian army would have caused the death of a huge number of the Georgian population. But Russia stopped.

And the famous footage of Saakashvili hiding from Russian planes is from that time.

And, so to speak, the personification of the finale of those events is the footage of a terrified Saakashvili, who is chewing his tie on the BBC journalists' camera while talking on the phone.

That's how the five-day war ended.

And now the most important thing: Who is to blame?
For ordinary sane people, everything is clear here: Georgia launched a massive shelling of the capital of South Ossetia at night, after which Russian peacekeepers came under fire, i.e. war was declared by these very actions.

These facts are even stated in the report of the International Commission under the auspices of the European Union.

Here, think about it and feel the hypocrisy of the so-called civilized West. Why did the media remain silent, and human rights defenders did not condemn the aggression? It's simple: the civilized world does this only on command.

Why did they admit Georgia's guilt then? But how can you not admit it? You just have to be very stupid to deny the opposite, because there are irrefutable facts.

But naturally, Russia was criticized for defending itself. As an example, the report stated that at first Russia's military response to the Georgian aggression was "legitimate", since the actions of the Russian Federation were defensive in nature, but the subsequent retaliatory actions of the Russian military went beyond "reasonable limits." Western countries have also accused Russia of using disproportionate force.

And Vladimir Putin responded very well to these accusations. Here, read it.

    Putin:

What did you want? So that we can only swing a penknife there?
Then I heard about the inadequacy of the use of force. And what is an adequate use of force when tanks, multiple launch rocket systems, and heavy artillery are used against us? Are we supposed to shoot with a slingshot?
What is an adequate use of force in this case? Of course, this was to be expected by those who started this provocation, that they would get a good punch in the face. If there are control points beyond the territory, beyond the conflict zone, then the strikes must be carried out there.

At the diplomatic level, so to speak, everyone recognized that it was Georgia that started the war. But the world's media didn't give a damn about their authority, and from the very beginning they brazenly lied that Russia had attacked Georgia. And even the footage of the shelling of Tskhinvali was presented as footage of Russia's attack on Georgia! And it was broadcast by many world media! Even Vladimir Pozner, who is hardly a pro-Russian journalist, criticized the behavior of the Western media.

And here's another comment from Putin about the information agenda of that time.

    Putin:
I'm not surprised by your question (*about Georgia), but what surprises me is how powerful the propaganda machine of the so-called West is. It's just amazing! It doesn't fit into any gates. After all, I don't believe that there are people here in this room who don't know the realities. In any case, everyone in this room perfectly understands and knows how events unfolded in reality. In the afternoon, it all started on the 7th and only on the 9th, on the night of the 9th to the 10th, our troops approached Tskhinvali.
And you know, I was in Beijing, watching the world's electronic media - complete silence on the air! It's like nothing is happening at all! It's as simple as that.
I congratulate you. I congratulate the person who is doing this. It's a wonderful job. But the result is bad. And he will always be like that, because this job is dishonest and immoral. Immoral politics always loses for a long time.

The Georgian side, in turn, naturally did not admit guilt. Saakashvili said that South Ossetia and Russia provoked Georgia. But the build-up of Western weapons, the preparation of the army for war and the statements that he will return Abkhazia and South Ossetia, this is all an accident.

The saddest thing is that powerful propaganda has done its job: on the foundation of Russophobia, built during the collapse of the USSR, a whole edifice of hatred against Russia has been erected. Georgia accused Russia of everything possible, severed diplomatic relations and all the good things that had happened between us.

Russia, in turn, in order to protect Abkhazia and South Ossetia from such aggressive actions, recognized the independence of these republics. Further, Georgia declared Russia an occupier of its lands.

That's how we live to this day.

And you know, answering the question of why Georgia hates Russia, we can say this:

Firstly, because some Georgians believed the nationalists that Russia was an occupier.

Secondly, because Georgia has a pro-Western president who, in order to please the United States, launched a war with Russia.

And thirdly, of course, propaganda, which spread the Russophobic agenda to the masses and ingrained it in the minds of Georgians.

Nevertheless, after what Saakashvili did, he did not resign as president. It was like that until 2013. Fortunately for the Georgian people, in 2012, more patriotic forces won the parliamentary elections and assessed this character themselves. Namely, they opened several criminal cases against him, including: "for corruption," which he allegedly fought against.; "for abuse of office," "involvement in murder," and a few more counts. But naturally, like Navalny, Saakashvili is considered a political prisoner. It doesn't matter that they are real criminals.

    OTHER "ACHIEVEMENTS" OF SAAKASHVILI

Speaking of Saakashvili, it is important to note that this is the man who gave his people to American military biologists as a guinea pig. Yes, I mean the American military laboratory near Tbilisi.

Another important event that reveals who Saakashvili is is the destruction of the memorial of glory to the fallen heroes in the Great Patriotic War.

Think about it: The USSR won the Great Patriotic War under the leadership of Georgian Stalin. 700 thousand people left the territory of Georgia to defend their homeland. Many died. The Georgians themselves created a memorial in their honor. And then in 2009, the President of Georgia ordered his order to destroy it. In fact, this is vandalism at the state level!

Why is Saakashvili (and not only him) destroying monuments, thereby erasing the memory of the Georgian people that their ancestors were heroes and beat the Nazis? It's simple: The Soviet Union was the homeland then, and the Georgians were brothers with the Russians. The memory of the Great Patriotic War brings our peoples very much closer. But for the main hegemon on planet Earth, unification and friendship are bad. Their principle of "divide and conquer" is as old as the world itself.

Saakashvili, their man, was tasked with dividing the once united people so that it would be easier to rule over both Russians and Georgians. If for this it is necessary to destroy the memory of what the Georgian people are proud of, then this is the business of the Georgian people. As they say, the sheriff doesn't care about the Negro's problems.

And here, by the way, we are even united by the victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1812. As an example, Peter Ivanovich Bagration, the elite of the Russian Empire, of Georgian origin, is just the hero of this war.

    WHAT'S WITH SAAKASHVILI NOW
But back to the traitors. The future fate of Saakashvili, I think, is not very interesting. According to Katko, without waiting for the end of his presidential term, he fled Georgia, first to Europe, then to the United States. And then he was sheltered in Ukraine. For which he received the nickname "The Foundling Bear."

In the 2012 parliamentary elections in Georgia, as it was said, another power group came to power. Prior to that, the constitution was amended, where the powers of the president were curtailed and Georgia formally became a Parliamentary Republic. That is, now in Georgia, not the president is in charge, but the parliament.

By the way, this decision went sideways for the pro-Western forces, because less accommodating politicians came to parliament, unlike the current president, whom I mentioned at the beginning. She is generally a Frenchwoman of Georgian origin.

Well, it should also be mentioned that after the coup in 2004, Saakashvili carried out a constitutional reform and expanded his powers. In particular, he received the right to dissolve parliament, appoint a prime minister and grant a second citizenship. Such people can start wars and change Constitutions.

So, in fact, the government is changing in Georgia. And in order to displace this government, i.e. to stage another coup, Saakashvili flew to Georgia in 2021. By the way, just like Navalny. And in the same way, Saakashvili was put in prison, where he is safely serving his sentence. He sits and makes a circus.

WHAT IS GEORGIA'S CURRENT RELATIONSHIP WITH RUSSIA and THE EUROPEAN UNION?

As for Georgian-Russian relations at the moment, they remain at a good level for the most part among the people. Those people who remember the Soviet Union during the “occupation" are warm to Russia and Russians. But besides that, Russia is very good at helping Georgia economically by providing a market for its products and developing tourism.

In fact, apart from Russia, Georgia is not needed by anyone as a developed region. In terms of tourism, Europeans have the Mediterranean Sea, their beaches in Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal and many others. Bulgaria is, in fact, the same Georgia on the other side of the Black Sea. They are closer to Europe, more developed and, objectively speaking, more suitable for recreation and tourism. Georgia has no value for them, it simply has nothing to offer the West except Russophobia, which was sold by Saakashvili. But these are wars with Russia again. And, yes. If Georgia goes to war with Russia, the West will be very happy. Isn't that so? More precisely, if Russia defeats Georgia in order to once again expose it as an aggressor and isolate it from the rest of the world so that it does not create a bipolar world.

By the way, so that there is no friendship between our countries, the so-called NGOs, Western organizations that brainwash the population, are actively working in Georgia. These are foreign agents. More recently, a patriotic part of the government tried to pass a law on foreign agents. That is, it is elementary for Western companies that are engaged in propaganda and preparations for a coup to say that they work for foreign countries. But, no. The law did not pass, because the pro-Western forces in Georgia are very strong. Protests and rallies were organized, i.e. Georgians went to rallies so that their country could continue to be used by the United States at its discretion. In general, it is very humiliating for the nation. And it's too bad that there is no real elite in Georgia, no public opinion leaders who would strengthen the country. There are, of course, a few people, like the Patriarch, but these are few.

Also, about whether Europe needs Georgia. The Europeans have everything Europe needs: fruits, vegetables, and wines, all produced by Georgia. As for China, Turkey and Iran, they have many times more of the same things that Georgia has. All these countries, like the United States, which is generally thousands of kilometers away, need Georgia as a tool in relations with Russia. No more. They don't care how the Georgians live there.

And only Russia needs stability and prosperity in the Caucasus, and it needs developed resorts in Georgia, because it has run out of its own. I mean with a subtropical climate. Tangerines, nuts, wines, etc. - Georgia is a pearl for big Russia. For the rest of the world, it is one of the territories.

Georgia's well-being is directly linked to its friendship with Russia. The stronger the relationship, the more developed the region will be. And thank God, some part of the establishment of this country understands this fact.

Due to the geopolitical situation, namely the weakening of the West and, conversely, the strengthening of Russia, the restoration of Georgian-Russian relations will be inevitable. And, accordingly, the unification of our countries too. Economically, that's for sure.

Have you checked if it is true that Georgians people "hate" or are TOLD TO HATE BUT many may not fall for it ... there are many other forms of emotions that may look like "hate" but is not ... I would NEVER use the title: "Why do The Dutch hate Germany" ... yet SOME might have issues with Germany ... but they do not represent all the Dutch people ... Same for Georgia, some may not fall for the "hate" campaign against Russia!

Russophobia is rampant all over the world. Take Europe, America, or Great Britain. Most foreigners will tell you that Russia is an aggressor and express their hatred. If someone says they love Russians but not their policies, that would also be hypocrisy, because more than half of Russians support Putin and the military operation. A user from Germany asked me: Why does Georgia hate Russia? Or an English girl told me that Russia is an aggressor and attacked Georgia. All these reasons are not just for nothing. Half the world hates Russians. Russophobia in its purest form. And the Georgians themselves are openly saying this. Apparently, the news isn't telling you much about it. I will explain the cause and effect.

For these articles that I post on this forum, on other forums I would be banned as a pro-Russian propagandist. That's what news channels all over the world do, not letting people know the truth (they don't want to listen to both sides, you know? They only listen to one side and deliberately lie because it benefits the globalists). If you need information from the Russian side, just tell me and I will publish it.

Have you checked if it is true that people "hate" ... there are many other forms of emotions that may look like "hate" but is not ...

To assume generalizations are correct ("for all") is also a form of reverse psychology warfare on you, your frustrations seek ways to express that vibe is a common theme all over the planet ... I know many westerners not watching mainstream anymore and do not hate Russia at all!
No need to follow anyone, only consider broadening (y)our horizon of possibilities ...

Of course they do, it's a pity that there are a minority of people you mentioned. Here's another example of how the government is turning people against Russia.

You assume it is a "minority" ... what you actually do is "ASSUME of what you know" from those who have the COURAGE to speak out are "the only ones that counts" ... correct?
    • All part of (partial, self-inflicted) perception warfare!
Silent majority, do not speak because they fear of the consequences is the "self-imposed conformism template" all over the world and is NOT exclusive to just 1 country nor just westerners nor just Chinese etc.

The results of an international survey conducted by The Pew Research Center have been published.

A simple question was asked in different countries: "Do you have a favored or unfavorable view of Russia?" (do you like Russia?).
The whole point of the answers is in one graph.
    Blue is positive
    Gray - no response
    Orange is negative.

    Graphics source: http://www.rferl.org/contentinfograp.../25459393.html

What I am saying is not speculation, they are based on statistics. There are many foreign websites where you can view the survey of citizens. Judging by what I see on the news and read about what is happening in the world, it matches. To understand the country's politics and her thoughts, it is enough to hear her statements about Russia. I consider the whole policy as a whole.

I'm not saying it's accurate, but I think it's close to what's really going on.

    • You can throw 100+ STATISTICS at me, does not work ... You know why?
Simple: ANY statistics never ever show what people REALLY think/feel ... because there is a psychological layer that is not easy to decode for anyone ... How many times people are SOLD a "narrative" or a "framework" (serving an agenda) based upon (rigged) computer models "statistics" ... EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT (rigged) COMPUTER MODELS ... They never can show the TRUE face of humans because so many "role play" to "fit in".

Then, when you VISIT a country you notice most people have "multiple faces" (aka role-plays) and they MIRROR your level of awareness ... if you are (hypothetically) dumb they will MIRROR that with ease so you fall for the self-inflicted confirmation bias trap/loop. ...

If you are way smarter, kind and treat others with respect ... most will mirror that too ... this whole psychological framework can NOT be found in 1000+ statistics you use "Russian Bear" (you, that is not using your real name, meanwhile I show my real name!).

"By their fruits you will know them" — a quote from the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 7, verses 15-21.

To be honest, I don't need to know the number and percentage of people in which country and how they relate to Russia.
If we take as a basis the Policies of these countries, and their statements and specific cases, it becomes clear who is a friend and who is an enemy.
The Russian Government has approved a list of foreign unfriendly states and territories that commit unfriendly acts against the Russian Federation. This includes 49 countries who help Ukraine financially or militarily or in other ways. We are talking about politics. Do people support this policy? I've given you some foreign statistics. Is she telling the truth or not? It doesn't really matter anymore. If you want to hear my opinion, then I think it is close to reality, even if with large errors.

    • You only know what WEF Network/Bilderberg/NATO actions are, that never ever represents "THEM" (all the people) mentioned in your "scripture" quote.
You are not really communicating with me (otherwise you would have used SOME of what I bring to the table, but totally ignored it), seems like an "automated mental reflex defense mechanism" posing as "communication" ... Like talking to an "avatar version of the real you" and an "avatar version of the real me" can mirror that behavior in to eternity ... OR I chose to break the cycle.

So no worries, all good here, I can also see the YOU beyond the scripture automaton.

How Russia saved Georgia from destruction:
The myth of the “Russian occupation” of Georgia dominates in Georgia. However historical the truth is that Georgian lands at the time of their accession to Russia were in danger of total destruction by Turkey and Persia. The Georgian people were under constant threat of physical destruction (genocide), assimilation and Islamization of their remnants. Russia saved historical Georgia and its nationalities from complete disappearance from the face of the planet.
    https://en.topwar.ru/159427-kak-ross...ot-gibeli.html

    Georgia's Acceptance into Russian Subjection

Georgia was caught between two great Muslim powers—the Ottoman and Persian Empires. However, it was not united, but consisted of three separate kingdoms—Kartli, Kakheti, and Imereti. Their kings feuded with each other and periodically converted to Islam, so Orthodox Georgia was threatened with complete absorption by Islam.

The Georgian Kings' Prolonged Requests for Patronage
In 1492, an embassy from the Kakhetian Tsar Alexander I arrived to the Grand Prince of Moscow, Ivan III the Great. He asked the Russian Tsar for intercession, humbly calling himself his serf. But Russia was unable to penetrate the Caucasus at that time.

During the reign of Feodor, son of Ivan the Terrible, in 1586, an embassy arrived in Moscow from the King of Kakheti, Alexander II, the great-grandson of Alexander I. At his request, Feodor Ivanovich declared himself the protector of Georgia and added to his title: "Sovereign of the Iberian Land, of the Georgian Kings." However, the attempt to establish a fortress in the North Caucasus for direct communication with Georgia ended tragically: in 1593, the Russian army of Prince Andrei Khvorostinin was forced to abandon the fortress they had founded in the upper Terek River under Chechen pressure. The Russians waited in vain for the aid promised to them by the Georgians.

Under the Romanov dynasty, Russian-Georgian relations resumed. In 1637, the Kakhetian King Teimuraz I swore allegiance to the Russian Tsar Mikhail. However, it was not yet possible to implement the agreements reached. Deposed in 1648, Teimuraz unsuccessfully sought help from Moscow.

    Treaty of Georgievsk
Only at the end of the 18th century was Russia able to effectively provide Georgia with the protection the unfortunate country had been asking for for three centuries. During Russia's victorious war with Turkey from 1768 to 1774, a Russian corps entered Kartli-Kakheti. Its king, Heraclius II, petitioned Empress Catherine the Great to become a vassal of Russia. Heraclius pledged to pay Russia the same tribute that Kartli-Kakheti paid to Persia. But he was told that the time was not ripe.

Signing of the Treaty of Georgievsk with the Kingdom of Kartli-Kakheti (Georgia).

In 1783, simultaneously with the annexation of Crimea, Catherine II honored the request of the Georgian Tsar. On July 24, a treaty was signed in the Georgievsk fortress (now in Stavropol Krai) placing Georgia under Russian protection. The Treaty of Georgievsk immediately granted the Georgian nobility and merchants equal rights with the corresponding Russian classes throughout the Empire.

However, Georgia itself soon violated this treaty. Playing a double game, King Heraclius concluded a friendship treaty with Turkey, with which Russia was then preparing to wage war. The Treaty of Georgievsk lapsed, and Russia withdrew its garrisons from Kartli-Kakheti. As a result, the country was left defenseless when Persian troops invaded in 1795.

    The Annexation of Georgia
In 1799, Emperor Paul I provided military aid to Georgia. The new Georgian king, George XII, on his deathbed, requested direct Russian citizenship. In January 1801, Paul issued a manifesto declaring Georgia's accession to the Russian Empire. This accession violated the dynasty's rights in the eyes of the people, sparking unrest.

Alexander I, who ascended the throne just two months later, was forced to resolve the legal and political issues surrounding this acquisition. In April 1802, a new manifesto was issued. The unrest was quelled. Georgia lost its statehood, but its Orthodox inhabitants received all the rights of the corresponding Russian estates.

The western part of Georgia, fragmented into small principalities (Imereti, Guria, and Mingrelia), remained under the rule of the Ottoman Empire. In 1803-1804, their rulers requested Russian citizenship. Russia's sovereignty over Western Georgia was recognized by Turkey in 1812, and Persia recognized the incorporation of Eastern Georgia into Russia in 1813. This required years of warfare with these powers.
