"Something is very wrong in China as multiple poisonings strike schools, the economy tanks, and sheer vehicular chaos takes over the streets. Also, so much more."

(Starting at 1 hour 25 minutes into the video, Matt & Winston focus on CCP propaganda, why it's so dangerous, and wonder aloud as to why more people are not aware of what a threat the CCP has become, especially to the US. )

Copying this post by Helvetic on his thread. I listened to Pepe Escobar carefully, one of very the finest, most ethical and most experienced on-the-spot, feet-on-the-ground journalists in the world. It seems close to impossible to square Pepe's reports from China (there have been many others, as well), with those from some of the other China-critical YouTube channels.

In this short video, Pepe talks in some detail about the accelerating social and technological development that he sees all around him. It's not really a geopolitical report.

I've never been to China, but I do know someone here in Ecuador (a young man, a graduate student) who recently spent a whole year there working in the Chinese provinces. For whatever it may be worth, his personal testimony matches Pepe's very closely.

Hi Bill. I am watching this vid (at 21:00/27:45 now), and I too feel feel a great disconnect between this talk and the China-critical talk of chans like The China Show.

Both Pepe and Judge seem bent on esteeming China over the west (only naming USA), in all the important metrics. Cultural stability and prosperity, geopolitical benignness, commercial relations with disadvantaged countries. Yet we know of big failures of China’s Belt and Road projects in various countries, the latest being the complete collapse of that hi rise Thai government office building (still under construction) due to a big quake in iirc Myanmar. A couple weeks ago we saw a PLAN warship collide with a Chinese Coast Guard ship while both were harassing a Philippine patrol ship. Pepe claims “out of poverty”, while not even addressing critics claims that “poverty level” has been arbitrarily defined for external appearances.

Pepe’s talk fits the mold of foreigner China-praise shown by the above mentioned critics Matt and Winston. He appears to be what they call a “Tankie”.

The YT comments are almost entirely enthusiastically supportive, which to me is a red flag. Here is one of the few outliers, which suggests that neither the host nor the guest knows China well:

"Xi" in Xi Jinping is pronounced a lot like "she", like the female pronoun.

Not "zee" like zebra, not "gee" like genius, "jee" like je t'aime, not "see" like sea.

Time to get that right, especially for you, Pepe!!!!

There are huge disconnects in the news being reported about China, and it is advisable not to rely on any one source, but to do a lot of research if you are sincere about learning the truth.
The CCP is spending enormous amounts of money on propaganda and on their efforts to subvert and destroy anything that threatens their insane goals of world domination, which are extremely deadly, underhanded and difficult to detect, much less counteract.
There are going to be a lot of mea culpas, reciminations and early retirements once this becomes sufficiently clear.

Tibetans feel stifled, asphyxiated by tide of Chinese propaganda memes
    Report IANS
    27 Aug 2025
    https://www.thehansindia.com/news/in...report-1001034

"Lhasa, a holy pilgrimage city, was temporarily transformed to resemble Beijing, turning the Patola parade ground into a mini Tiananmen Square, where authorities observed and monitored every assembled citizen during the recent visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to central Tibet, a report cited on Wednesday. It stated that the Chinese President, during the visit, highlighted China’s efforts to modernize Tibet with "Chinese characteristics".

According to a report published by Stockholm-based Institute for Security and Development Policy (ISDP), Beijing attempted to reassure itself that it is succeeding in winning the hearts and minds of the Tibetans by staging grand patriotic displays to convince top leaders of their success. However, it said, the efforts remain forced and misleading due to China's rigid governing style.

At Potala Palace in Tibet, while welcoming Xi Jinping, the military band played music and the Tibetans waved red flags and “khatag scarves". The flag was unfurled, the national anthem played, while the crowd sang with fast-moving shots capturing the scene in full display.

"These outbursts of spontaneous joy at seeing the Core Leader remind us that China sees Tibetans as backward, simple folk, who break into joyful dancing just like that. Nothing to do with choreography and repeated rehearsals. This spectacular enlisted 20,000 participants, trained to simulate spontaneity on cue. At no other time would the party-state allow 20,000 Tibetans to gather on the streets and square immediately below the Potala; any genuinely popular gathering would be swiftly declared a threat to national security,” wrote Gabriel Lafitte, who spent years living with Tibetans, in exile and in Tibet, wrote in ISDP.

The report stated that previously, in March 2025, new regulations came into effect across Lhasa and Tibet Autonomous Region prefectures, further restricting Tibetan culture and language. These regulations, issued at least once a year, dictate how Tibetans of central Tibet should behave, and with each set of rules, the punishments become increasingly detailed.

“Do Tibetans believe China is building in Tibet a united, prosperous, civilized, harmonious, and beautiful new socialist modernity? Does that fit their daily experience? This is popularly known as gaslighting, an unending campaign of controlling the minds and thoughts of others,” said the Australia-based writer.

"China’s reliance on top-level design to translate its frontier construction theory into a menu of actions has resulted in a dead end. Far from master planning Tibet’s transition into embracing a new identity, as loyal Chinese citizens, the counterproductive outcome of intensifying pressure is the deepening of Tibetan dismay at the relentless intrusion of China’s slogan jargon into every aspect of life. Tibetans feel stifled, asphyxiated, cancelled by the tide of propaganda memes they must memorize, repeat, and perform, whenever required," noted Lafitte who researches the impacts of Chinese policies on the Tibetan Plateau and regularly trains young Tibetan professional environmentalists and advocates. Congressman says TikTok serves as Chinese ‘weapon’ sowing discord among young Americans
    By Anthony Man
aman@sunsentinel.com | South Florida Sun Sentinel
    September 16, 2025
    https://www.orlandosentinel.com/2025...ung-americans/

"TikTok is not the benign source of entertainment and information that its audience of young fans believe they’re getting, Congressman Jared Moskowitz warns. Rather, he warns, it is a dangerous propaganda weapon that China is using to manipulate public opinion and divide Americans.

The intention and impact are so great, Moskowitz said, that TikTok amounts to a large-scale psychological operations effort by China. “I want to be clear: I don’t want to ban TikTok. But you have to recognize it’s a psyops weapon.”

How the U.S. deals with it — changes could be announced imminently — is a “huge” part of “how we’re going to control how propaganda gets fed to the American people,” Moskowitz said.

The Broward-Palm Beach county Democrat discussed TikTok and other implications of social media on an episode of “The Chuck Toddcast” podcast that dropped earlier this month. His comments came before this week’s developments, with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant suggesting a TikTok deal is in the offing.

Deadlines for TikTok’s owner, ByteDance, to sell its U.S. operations have come and gone before, with President Donald Trump granting multiple postponements. Trump issued another extension on Tuesday.

Trump has gone from a fierce critic of TikTok — he tried to shut it down in his first term — to a champion of the popular service. Trump reversed his position during his 2024 campaign to return to the White House.

Moskowitz comes to his views about TikTok and other social media platforms as an admittedly prolific user of social media himself — and as a father of two elementary-aged children he wants to protect from detrimental effects of social media platforms.

The congressman said his views on TikTok are more than simply his opinion. “There’s a reason why I’m not allowed to have it on my official devices,” he said.

TikTok didn’t respond to questions about Moskowitz’s comments. On a “myths vs. facts” page on its website, TikTok said the assertion that it “manipulates content in a way that benefits the Chinese government or harms American interests” is a myth. It countered the content manipulation allegation with “Fact: TikTok is an entertainment app. The content on TikTok is generated by our community. TikTok does not permit any government to influence or change its recommendation model.”

NBC News reported that an analysis of ByteDance ownership structure “argues that the company is deeply entangled with some of China’s major government propaganda organs.” TikTok said its parent company was “founded by Chinese entrepreneurs,” but isn’t headquartered in China and that CEO and board members don’t live in mainland China. Some of the board members are American, it said.

Moskowitz said other countries recognize the dangers of TikTok, citing India’s banning of the app.

And China doesn’t expose its citizens to the version of the app deployed in the U.S., he said. ByteDance operates a different subsidiary, Douyin, with similar vertical short videos in China. “China’s TikTok is not our TikTok,” Moskowitz said. “Theirs is an educational program. So they’re making their kids smarter, they’re making our kids dumber. They’re feeding our kids false information.”

TikTok labeled it a “myth” that “Douyin offers educational content, limits screen time, and creates a positive experience for teens, while TikTok does not. Fact: Douyin and TikTok are separate apps that are run by separate teams and serve separate markets.”

The Pew Research Center reported in 2023 that 39% of adults under 30 said they regularly get their news from TikTok, compared to just 3% of those 65 and older. Among teens, 58% said they were daily users of TikTok.

“What they’re doing, because China thinks in (timeframes of) 100 years, 1,000 years. What they’re doing is getting us addicted, getting it attached, setting the seeds, getting it fully ingrained in society,” Moskowitz said.

He said TikTok users report they often “don’t check a second source” for information they see on the app. That allows China to use TikTok to shape young people’s opinions in “whatever direction” they want by promoting certain information and hiding other information.

For example, he said, TikTok amplifies videos about Israel’s conduct of the war in Gaza but suppresses videos about China’s oppression of the Uyghurs minority. “You ever hear about what the Chinese do to the Uyghurs on TikTok?” Moskowitz said. “Scrubbed from the platform, right? That’s how you do a psyops operation.”

Uyghurs in China are subject to atrocities, forced sterilization of young women, enforced separation of families, and detention of more than one million in detention and forced labor camps, according to the Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies at The George Washington University and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Moskowitz isn’t alone on his views of TikTok. In 2024, U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Weston, described TikTok as “a horrific actor when it comes to the social media platforms.”

Congress, concerned that TikTok’s Chinese ownership makes it beholden to orders from that country’s government, voted overwhelmingly with bipartisan support in 2024 for a law that bans the app in the U.S. unless its parent sells TikTok to another company.

The contours of the latest possible deal haven’t yet been announced.

TikTok and some users sued to have the law overturned, arguing it was a violation of the First Amendment. A spokesperson said it amounted to “outright censorship of the American people.” But the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously upheld the law, concluding that “Congress has determined that divestiture is necessary to address its well-supported national security concerns regarding TikTok’s data collection practices and relationship with a foreign adversary.”

China’s position heretofore has been “interesting,” Moskowitz said. “They were like, ‘no, no, we’re not going to sell it and make billions of dollars, hundreds of billions of dollars.’ They were like, ‘We’re going to close it. We’d rather shut it down.”

The reason is that the Chinese didn’t want to part with the app’s source code, Moskowitz said. “Because if we get the source code, we can see what they’ve been doing. That’s why,” the congressman said.

U.S. Rep. Jared Moskowitz, a Broward-Palm Beach County Democrat, at a House committee hearing on July 22, 2024. He is warning about threats to the U.S. from the TikTok app. (Rod Lamkey, Jr./Associated Press)

Moskowitz said his concerns aren’t confined to TikTok.

“Don’t get me wrong. Twitter or X is also a cesspool of hate and garbage,” he said. But that platform “at least” has the “community notes” feature, which TikTok doesn’t.

Community notes is a crowd-sourced program that allows users to add fact checks and other context to posts they find false or misleading.

Moskowitz said it’s hard for people to break the social media habit, himself included.

“It’s like trying to get a drug addict to stop taking drugs, right? We — we collectively, me included, so I’m not passing judgment on others — we are addicted to this,” he said, adding, “It’s tough to put the phone down. I deal with it all the time, trust me, I’m doom scrolling on Twitter too much.”

Still, he said, “trying to protect the kids” is essential.

“We all know what’s not good for 12-year-olds and 13-year-olds,” he said. He endorsed age-verification policies implemented by some states to control access to pornography. “Age verifications are great,” he said.

“We have to start trying to protect our kids right from being just totally sold everything as soon as they get onto the internet.”

Moskowitz said it’s being left to parents “to figure out how do we protect our kids until they’re adults? How do we protect our kids from being targets from companies or foreign governments who are very active on all of these platforms.”

A solution requires action from Washington, Moskowitz said. He also said reaching an agreement on appropriate regulation is exceedingly difficult. Tech firms are more powerful than the defense and health care industries, he said. “No question. They are 100% stronger.”

Moskowitz said his two young sons are “not on TikTok,” but are allowed on YouTube — with major parental oversight.

They can’t access the app in their bedrooms. “They’ve got to do it in the living room so I can at least hear some of the stuff.”

The boys are “getting pitched everything” when they’re on the app. At times he said he has had to “delete the app, try to reset the algorithms, try to clean it up.”

And, he said, his children are not allowed on during the week, just weekends. “That’s our rule in the house.”

But that doesn’t guarantee they’re not exposed to information parents don’t approve.

“Their friends are on it. I can’t keep them totally away from it. … They still learn stuff from other people, right? That’s stuff that’s not on their YouTube, but’s on their friends’ YouTube,” he said. “You can’t put your kids in a cocoon.” "

China’s Propaganda: Ludicrous, Malicious, Extremely Effective
    Hoover Institution
    By: Gordon G. Chang
    May 5, 2021
    https://www.hoover.org/research/chin...mely-effective

"“So let me say here that, in front of the Chinese side, the United States does not have the qualification to say that it wants to speak to China from a position of strength,” said China’s top diplomat, Yang Jiechi, to Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, at the now-famous showdown in Anchorage in the middle of March.

Yang’s words, part of a long tirade, were immediately amplified by Chinese state and Communist Party media. His comment was carried for weeks, first by reporting and then by analyses. Foreign commentators picked up the storyline that the Americans in Alaska were taken by surprise, thereby giving credence to Beijing’s narrative of Chinese strength. It appears that Yang’s initial rant and its coverage were planned well in advance. Blinken and Sullivan, in short, were ambushed.

Is Chinese propaganda effective in enhancing Beijing’s strategic objectives? The answer, evident from this tactically brilliant and seamless operation, is “yes.”

“China controls the most expansive, heavily resourced, and sophisticated propaganda capabilities available to any regime in history,” Kerry Gershaneck, author of the recently released Political Warfare: Strategies for Combating China’s Plan to “Win Without Fighting,” told Strategika. “This massive propaganda juggernaut has reaped tremendous benefits for China’s Communist rulers in pursuit of their strategic objectives. Through its state-run propaganda organs, United Front organizations, and foreign enablers, Beijing has been able to effectively shape perceptions globally, if not perfectly at least well enough for its purposes.”

In this case, Yang’s assertive comment, flaunting China’s rise, served Beijing’s most important foreign policy objective: maintenance of Communist Party rule at home. The comment was relayed to the Chinese people, with especially inflammatory commentary. Fei-Ling Wang of Georgia Tech points out in comments to me that China’s huge and well-funded propaganda effort has worked well in promoting the Party’s leadership.

Yang’s comment also served to intimidate foreigners. As Cleo Paskal of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies said to this publication, “Berating the U.S. delegation in Alaska served the propaganda purpose of showing smaller countries ‘look at what we are willing to do to the U.S. so imagine what we will do to you.’ ” Paskal says Beijing has been “increasingly shifting to a ‘fear us’ message.”

That message is usually presented these days in a U.S.-is-in-irreversible-decline packaging, implying, without subtlety, that countries can no longer rely on Washington for help.

The messaging works not only because of repetition but also because it feeds into existing perceptions of China’s—and America’s—different trajectories.

Chinese propaganda, of course, does not work as well when it tries to establish a narrative that seems false, but the propaganda does what China’s regime needs it to do. Take the matter of the origin of COVID-19. Beijing has been suggested—maliciously, without factual foundation—that the disease originated in the U.S. Army’s Fort Detrick, in Frederick, Maryland.

On February 23 of last year, People’s Daily, the Communist Party’s self-described “mouthpiece” and therefore the most authoritative publication in China, suggested the U.S. military spread the disease to Wuhan. The Fort Detrick narrative appeared on WeChat, a popular Chinese social media platform, on March 9, and from there the story spread fast inside China.

“When did patient zero begin in the US?” asked Zhao Lijian, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesman, in a now-infamous March 12 tweet. “It might be U.S. army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan.” That and his 10 other tweets on March 12 and 13 were cited 99,000 times in at least 54 languages in the following six weeks, according to an Atlantic Council-Associated Press investigation. Criticisms of Zhao’s messages further spread the theory. The wide dissemination of the narrative created what the New York Post correctly called a “self-feeding cycle.”

China since then has, through social media and other means, given new life to the Fort Detrick theory. For instance, on March 31 of this year, after the World Health Organization mission to Wuhan released its report on the origin of the disease, foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying again raised the Fort Detrick theory, something she also talked about previously this year. China’s propaganda line may be ludicrous, but Beijing through social media and other means knows how to keep a story going.

As they say, quantity has its own quality. Gershaneck, now at Taiwan’s National Chengchi University, refers to “the sheer mass of the daily bombardment of Communist Party messaging through Chinese state-owned and co-opted foreign media.”

“Upright Voice Needed Globally Against Western Public Opinion Hegemony,” a Global Times headline from this April tells us. There is, in fact, no longer any Western “hegemony” in public opinion, if there ever was.

China’s giant—and effective—propaganda effort has seen to that. As Gershanek points out, “The democracies have abdicated the Information Battlefield to China for roughly three decades and are only recently beginning to recognize the egregious price they are paying for this failure.” "

China's Scams Targeting Americans in Every Zip Code Must Be Stopped
    Sep 08, 2025
By Mike Kuiken & Randy Schriver
    https://www.newsweek.com/chinas-scam...pinion-2125122

"The American people are under attack. The frontlines don't look like battlefields, but rather a computer screen, a phone call, or a social media message. The bipartisan U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission recently completed a report that details how massive scam centers across Southeast Asia—many operated by Chinese criminal networks—are systematically robbing Americans of billions of dollars a year.

These are not one-off criminal operations. They are industrial-scale fraud factories that have turned digital deception into one of the world's most lucrative criminal enterprises—rivaling, and in some estimates surpassing, the global drug trade. According to our recent Commission findings, Americans lost over $5 billion to scams tied to these networks in 2024 alone.

The victims aren't faceless statistics. One Oklahoma couple lost more than $5 million—depleting life savings meant for retirement—while in Maryland, a single victim was bilked of over $3 million in just a few months, shattered by "pig-butchering" schemes involving false romance and crypto investments.

But these scam centers are not just about theft. They represent something more troubling: criminal enterprises operating with what the Commission found to be "implicit backing from elements of the Chinese government." Beijing tolerates these operations when they target Americans but cracks down when they harm Chinese citizens. Even more disturbing, the Commission concluded that China is "exploiting the problem" of these scam compounds to advance its own interests.

This selective enforcement fits a larger pattern. These operations thrive not just because of local corruption and weak enforcement, but because Beijing deliberately chooses permissive environments—embedding its proxies in handpicked, loosely governed enclaves often tied to Belt and Road investments. Whether it's the flow of fentanyl precursors, cyber operations, or now these scam networks, China consistently exploits grey zones—where harm to Americans carries little risk, but harm to Chinese citizens brings swift reprisal.

Behind these scams, according to the Commission's findings, Chinese crime syndicates have aligned themselves with Beijing's geopolitical agenda. These groups promote pro-Beijing propaganda, support Belt and Road Initiative projects, and echo Chinese patriotic rhetoric. In return, they often operate with little interference and sometimes even strategic utility to the state. The Commission's analysis suggests this represents a form of indirect statecraft—one that helps China expand its influence, corrupt its neighbors, and undermine U.S. interests, all while denying responsibility.
The Commission's findings place these scam operations within a broader pattern of Chinese state behavior. This isn't about cataloging unrelated grievances—it's about recognizing a consistent strategy. Just as Beijing has tolerated the flow of fentanyl precursors that poison American communities while cracking down on domestic drug problems, it has allowed criminal networks to target American victims while protecting Chinese citizens. The pattern is consistent: activities that harm the United States operate with minimal interference, while those affecting China face swift action. Whether through cyber operations, intellectual property theft, or now these scam centers, China exploits grey zones that provide strategic advantage while maintaining deniability.

This isn't about politics—it's about national resilience. Americans deserve to know how foreign adversaries are targeting them, not just through traditional means, but through criminal networks and digital manipulation. Law enforcement, financial institutions, and the tech sector all have roles to play in tightening the screws on these scam centers, but we also need a clear-eyed understanding of the state-level strategy behind them.

At the same time, recent efforts by the Trump administration to streamline the State Department and USAID—including sharp staff cuts and program consolidations—raise important questions about institutional focus. These changes may be driven by efficiency, but they also risk sidelining long-term threats like this one. Protecting Americans from transnational cyber-enabled fraud should remain a diplomatic, development, and law enforcement priority—not a casualty of reorganization.

The Commission's report makes one thing clear: The United States is not just dealing with criminals. We are dealing with a system of exploitation that serves the interests of an authoritarian state that sees chaos abroad as leverage at home.

The American people are not passive victims. But we do need to wake up to the nature of the threat. Scam centers may look like low-level crime, but they are something far more serious: a quiet front in a much broader conflict.

We can't afford to navel-gaze while innocent Americans watch their retirement savings, college funds, and life savings hoovered up out of their bank accounts by criminal syndicates that the Commission's report documents as operating with geopolitical backing. As the Trump administration continues to negotiate trade deals and engage with China, shutting down these scam centers must be part of the conversation.

China through Western eyes is one story. China on the ground is another. Jerm is here to uncover the difference.

Jerm is in China to see for himself what’s really happening on the ground. Western media coverage often paints a one-sided picture, but how much of it reflects reality? By travelling across the country, speaking to locals, and documenting the experience, Jerm is testing the propaganda against lived experience. Part 1 is in conversation with Carl Zha

Foreign tourists who go to China to sightsee these days are generally monitored and steered away from sights that the CCP doesn't want them to see.
Considering how much the Chinese people have been conditioned to hate foreigners, it's not really safe for foreigners there anymore, which is another reason they are not free to roam.
Very few are attempting to go there now, but there are huge numbers of Chinese trying to get out of the country permanently.

Watch starting at 59 minutes into the video posted here: https://projectavalon.net/forum4/sho...=1#post1685918

(Considering how ill-behaved many Chinese tourists and expatriates are, they are wearing out their welcome in many countries.
Which certainly testifies to how rampant poor mental health has become among the Chinese people under the harsh, psychotic rule of the CCP.)

For a much different picture of what is happening with the Uyghurs in China, watch starting at 1 hour 35 minutes into the video, continuing on until 1 hour 52 minutes.
Although of course, if it makes you happy to believe propaganda and the shills who are paid by the CCP to spread it, you are still free to do so.
Personally, I believe it's the truth that sets us free, though it may shatter our treasured, comfortable delusions.

Starting at 41 minutes, through until 1 hour 9 minutes, the long segment about "digital death" is very revealing about how hypervigilant the CCP is about anything posted online which they think could reflect at all negatively on the Party.

" "DURING THE HU JINTAO ERA AND THE JIANG ZEMIN ERA, WE WERE SINCERE TO YOU. NEVER TRICKED YOU. NEVER PLAYED DIRTY WITH YOU. BUT XI AND WANG ARE RUTHLESS" - LUDE ON HU JINTAO FACTION
VIDEO: "Xi Losing Control? Rivals Secretly Reach Out to Trump via Premier Li Qiang"

Outside of a handful of Chinese Dissident- and anti-CCP YouTube accounts, the story about the ongoing power struggle within the Chinese Communist Party is being ignored by both the legacy media and the alternative media.

Last June, Lei’s Real Talk and other YouTube channels, like Behind the Great Firewall reported about an apparent purge of Xi Jinping loyalist generals, four of whom had “died suddenly”. In addition, key officials overseeing Hong Kong and Taiwan had been replaced.

Lei’s latest report claims that Xi Jinping has lost power and that the CCP elders, including Hu Jintao, Wen Jiabao, and General Zhang Youxia are now in control.

She says that during the recent UN Assembly, Chinese Premier Li Qiang vanished for five hours and secretly flew to Washington to meet with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, carrying a message from these CCP elders for Donald Trump, the gist of which was:

    1) Xi Jinping has lost power. The Party elders are the ones truly in control.

    2) They want to return China to the reform and opening-up era, and they see good relations with the US as the top priority.

    3) They sincerely want to welcome President Trump to visit China.

Lei says that this is the opposite of Xi Jinping’s current doctrine, according to his own recent speeches and according to former Inner Mongolia senior official, Du Wen, who fled China for Belgium in October 2023, after enduring lawfare that he claimed was actually targeting his former boss, Hu Chunhua, the man chosen to succeed Xi Jinping by the above CCP elders.

Du Wen claims to have obtained top-secret CCP documents that outline Xi Jinping’s doctrine, which is to unite with Russia and North Korea against the United States and the democratic world. After meeting with five Biden administration officials and US scholars in 2024, Du was surprised that they didn’t know this. I’m guessing he didn’t know that the Biden administration was the Xi Jinping adminstration.

Lei quotes Du as saying, “They still see China through an old Cold War lens, as just another revisionist power. They haven’t grasped Xi Jinping’s full strategic shift to create this anti-West alliance to take down the United States.” And that blind spot, Mr Du warns, “Distorts American policy and ripples out to Europe and the rest of the world.”

Lei claims that according to Xi Jinping’s own speeches, the world is now split. On one side, the US and the democracies. On the other, what Xi calls the “Anti-Western United Front”, led by himself, Putin, and Kim Jong-un and that in a speech to the Central Military Commission, he called it a “Life-and-death struggle”.

The three were photographed extensively during Beijing’s September 3rd military parade, where Xi Jinping appeared shoulder to shoulder with Russia’s Putin and North Korea’s Kim Jong-un.

Two days later, on September 5th, Trump announced that his Department of Defense would be renamed the Department of War and since then, Trump also made an unexpected 180-degree shift on the Russia-Ukraine war. This was promptly followed by many Russian drone incursions into Estonian, Polish and Danish airspace.

What Lei reports about Du Wen reminds me of the September 2020 reports from Miles Guo associate and fellow Chinese dissident, Lude, who announced that the three Hunter Biden hard drives had been physically delivered to the US Department of Justice in 2019 by Bo Tiantian on behalf of three very high-level retired CCP officials, Jiang Zemin, Zeng Qinhong, Meng Jianzhu.

Besides the horrible videos of Hunter abusing 10-year-old girls and records of his corrupt financial deals with CCP officials, Lude said the drives contained data from the offshore bank accounts of Xi Jinping and Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan, They also contained information about Xi and Wang’s so-called ‘Architectural Art Project’, which he said is a wide-ranging plan to control not only 1.4 billion Chinese people but also the United Nations, the US President and all future US Presidents. One drive contained information about a virus and bio-weapons.

Lude explained thre reason why Zemin, Zeng and Meng had gave these hard drives to US officials was:

“In short, to protect themselves. To tell all of the Americans who have been collaborating with the CCP, ‘Look at Xi and Wang. We know all of your dirty secrets. Which means you should blame Xi and Wang. During the Hu Jintao era, and the Jiang Zemin era, we were sincere to you. Never tricked you. Never played dirty with you. But Xi and Wang are ruthless.'”

Bo Tiantian, aka Bao Jiaqi aka Hunter Biden’s “flirty secretary” who delivered the hard drives is the illegitimate daughter of disgraced CCP luminary, Bo Xilai, who had competed with Xi Jinping for the leadership of Communist China but was defeated.

Lude said Corrupt pro-Biden DOJ officials kept the Hunter Biden hard drives under wraps but others were eventually able to deliver these to Donald Trump sometime in 2020.

In short, the the CCP is not a monolith. Several high-level CCP members have defected in recent years and its possibly that its factions are warring each other within the US Government.

    TRANSCRIPT

Lei: The UN has been all over the news lately. Alongside Trump, China’s Premier Li Qiang also flew into New York for the assembly. And just before the session where President Trump was set to speak, US Secret Service busted a dangerous network.

300 co-located SIM servers and 100,000 SIM cards [an additional 200,000 have since been discovered] spread across five sites in New York. That system could have crippled the city’s cell phone communications. So far, no group has been officially named.

But let’s be honest, who else has the technology, the money, the manpower, and the motive? My bet, the CCP.

Li Qiang was in the US for the UN assembly. It’s his first trip to the US as the Premier.

But here’s the strange part: While in New York, he mysteriously disappeared from the public. Now, you have to understand, when it comes to a Chinese Premier abroad, his schedule is mapped-out to the minute by the Foreign Ministry and the Chinese Embassy. Even the US Secret Service has to know his whereabouts for his security.

His disappearance was said to have surprised people. So where did he go? What happened in those missing hours? Leaks suggest that the Premier wasn’t just sightseeing. He was secretly reaching out to officials from the Trump administration, carrying a message from the CCP’s party elders. He was hoping to see people close to Trump, but it said that they were unavailable, due to the last-minute nature of this request.

It said that he met the Commerce Secretary in the end. Well, that’s Howard Lutnick. And the message he delivered? Actually, there are not just one message, but three. So here are the three messages that he supposedly delivered:

First: Xi Jinping has lost power, the party elders are the ones truly in control. Message number two: they want to return China to the reform and opening up era and they see good relations with the US as the top priority. And message number three: is that they sincerely want to welcome President Trump to visit China.

Now, this message certainly didn’t come from Xi Jinping. They came from the elders, including Hu Jintao, Wen Jiabao, and General Zhang Youxia.

They’re said to have personally tasked Li Qiang with this mission. In fact, this was the real purpose of his trip. So originally, Xi Jinping didn’t even want Li Qiang to come.

He wanted to send Vice Premier He Lifeng instead, because Vice Premier He has been talking with the Americans in the trade talks, so it will be a good fit. But the elders insisted that only Li Qiang had the standing to deliver this message, so that’s why he came.

Here’s where the trail gets interesting: The meeting most likely took place in Washington, DC Flight records, or the system that tracks flights, that platform backed up this claim, that the meeting actually took place in Washington, DC.

His plane, which was a chartered plane, touched down in New York on September 22nd at 4:28PM, but two hours later, at 6:32PM, it took off again. By 7:16PM, it was on the ground in DC. Yet according to Li’s official itinerary, he had no events scheduled in DC. So the missing five-hour window, it may have been spent carrying out the most important and the most secret mission of his US trip.

So, I cannot verify this, but do I believe it? I should tell you that I cannot dismiss.

In the past two weeks, the world has grown increasingly dangerous. Russia suddenly launched drone incursions into Poland. Three Russian fighter jets entered Estonian airspace before being intercepted by NATO and just yesterday, four Russian aircraft approached Alaska’s air defense identification zone, forcing the US. and Canada to scramble multiple fighter jets to intercept them.

Denmark, meanwhile, was hit with drone incursions twice in just one week. First, Copenhagen’s main airport was forced to shut down, then on the night of the 24th, at least four other airports in both northern and southern Denmark, along with a key airbase, were simultaneously swarmed with unidentified drones, knocking parts of the country’s aviation network offline. The Danish government called it “A carefully planned hybrid attack.”

At the same time, Chinese Coast Guard vessels made incursions near Japanese waters.

Now back in Pyongyang, on September 14, North Korea’s diplomatic mission to the UN declared that its “Status as a nuclear-armed state” is irreversible. Kim’s sister, the formidable Kim Yo-jong, also issued strong warnings against the US, South Korea, Japan, Freedom Edge joint drills, threatening “negative consequences”.

So, do you notice a pattern here? All of these developments came after Beijing’s September 3rd military parade, where Xi Jinping appeared shoulder to shoulder with Russia’s Putin and North Korea’s Kim Jong-un.

The sight of these three dictators in the same frame crystallized what Xi called the “Two Camps”. In the past, US rivalry with China was mostly economic or technological, but today, it has solidified into a full-scale geopolitical confrontation.

And this camp, the one that you see on the screen, did not exist in Trump’s first term. Now, it’s real. And of the three, Russia, China, and North Korea, it’s China that leads. It’s very clear. Xi Jinping is the one directly confronting the United States and the democratic world.

On September 5th, just two days after the parade, Trump announced that his Department of Defense would be renamed the Department of War. Since then, we’ve seen unprecedented developments, including Trump’s 180-degree shift on the Russia-Ukraine war.

In fact, uniting with Russia and North Korea to struggle against the United States and the democratic world is exactly the CCP’s strategy. Mr Du Wen, the former official in Mongolia working for Hu Chunhua, who now lives in exile in Europe, he claims to have obtained top-secret CCP documents that outline Xi Jinping’s doctrine, what he calls “Two Camps, One Struggle”. He made the revelation, I think, two days ago, but I’m not sure the date of such document.

According to Xi Jinping’s own speeches, the world is now split. On one side, the US and the democracies. On the other, what Xi calls the “Anti-Western United Front”, led by himself, Putin, and Kim Jong-un.

And Xi Jinping doesn’t even hide it. In a speech to the Central Military Commission, he called it a “Life-and-death struggle”. Those were his exact words.

Now, the timing of the speech is unknown. I do not think it’s recent. I think this speech and this strategy was drafted before his sudden illness at the Third Party Plenum.

So, Mr Du Wen said that the US still misreads China. In 2024, he met with five Biden administration officials and several US scholars. What he found was striking, he said, “They still see China through an old Cold War lens, as just another revisionist power. They haven’t grasped Xi Jinping’s full strategic shift to create this anti-West alliance to take down the United States. And that blind spot, Mr Du warns, distorts American policy and ripples out to Europe and the rest of the world.”

Alright, so let’s get back to the message that Premier Li Qian delivered. Is it believable? I think it is, because the party elders desperately need to get in touch with the Trump administration about the next step, because they could feel the sinking ship. "

"Reports are emerging from Beijing claiming that Xi Jinping may have suffered a sudden stroke earlier today. The alleged incident has triggered emergency medical activity in the capital, with sources describing Xi’s condition as serious. Meanwhile, Premier Li Qiang has reportedly been ordered to cut short his visit to North Korea—a move widely seen as a key indicator of how grave the situation might be.

The report comes from three separate sources, including former CCP insider Du Wen, one of whom alleged that a formal transition of power has already begun. At the same time, South Korea confirmed today that Trump is unlikely to attend the APEC Summit, reinforcing earlier claims that the long-anticipated Xi–Trump meeting in South Korea will not take place. How Xi’s collapse triggered Trump’s 100% tariff blitz and trade war

"Just days after rumors that Xi Jinping suffered a stroke, Beijing shocked the world with sudden trade-war moves against the United States. China announced new rare-earth export bans, launched a probe into Qualcomm, and hit U.S. ships with new port fees. President Trump fired back, promising 100% tariffs and tough new controls. What really caused this sudden U.S.–China clash? Was it Xi’s health, a power struggle before the Fourth Plenum, or something deeper inside the CCP? This video breaks down what’s happening behind the scenes in Beijing and why it matters to the world."

LEI: HOW XI'S COLLAPSE TRIGGERED TRUMP'S 100% TARIFF BLITZ TRADE WAR

(VIDEO: "How Xi’s Collapse Triggered Trump’s 100% Tariff Blitz and Trade War" Pub. Oct 11, 2025 by Lei's Real Talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHfdl3aP9lw )

"Out of the blue last Thursday, China's commerce ministry announced that starting on December 1st, a license will be required for foreign companies to export products with more than 0.1% of rare earths from China or that are made with Chinese production technology.

As Dean Ball, a former White House Science and Technology Policy advisor wrote, China's policy "Gives it the power to forbid any country on Earth from participating in the modern economy." He says this imbalance has created an opportunity for "Every country on Earth that wants to control its destiny [to] build a new supply chain designed to withstand unilateral weaponization by a single country."

On Friday, President Trump responded that he would impose an additional 100% on top of the current 30% tariff on China and limit US exports of software.

This caused China to vow to retaliate against the US' retaliation, accusing the US of "acting unilaterally" – after China had acted unilaterally.

This is an abrupt break from the rather stable relations between China and the US over the past 6 months. As Lei's Real Talk points out, China has lately been sending amicable and conciliatory signals, with the TikTok deal and with Premier Li Qian recently announcing at the UN that China would give up its 'Developing Country' status at the WTO and with him in a private meeting with US business leaders and think tank figures reviving Wang Yang's old analogy about the US-China 'marriage', suggesting that the two countries should coexist and complement each other like a couple, rather than compete.

But out of nowhere, Beijing flipped. Lei likens the rare earths announcement to a "surprise Pearl Harbor-style economic strike" and after weighing all of the possibilities, she assesses that this directive is actually a cover-up for what may be Xi's severe health crisis.

Since July 2024, Chinese dissidents have spread unsubstantiated rumors that Xi Jinping suffered a stroke during the Third Plenary Session of the Chinese Communist Party.

Last Friday, Lei reported on rumors that Xi had suffered another more serious stroke last Thursday, just 11 days before the upcoming Fourth Plenary Session.

For months, Lei's Real Talk has reported that China's political and military establishment has become divided into a pro-Xi hardliner faction that insists on fighting the US and the more US-friendly anti-Xi faction headed by retired CCP elders, including Hu Jintao, Wen Jiabao and the active duty General Zhang Youxia, that wants to ease tensions and to restore good relations.

It's Good Cop, Bad Cop and Lei explores opinions about how either faction could be playing both roles. However, in her opinion, the surprise rare earths directives are coming from the pro-Xi faction, likely because he is gravely ill.

"It is Xi Jinping’s camp making this 180-degree turn on the surface, against the will of the party elders who have been trying to mend relations with Washington in the past couple of months.

"But why? Well, the key lies in the timing. Think about it: It's just 10 days before the CCP's Fourth Plenum. It's in the middle of damaging rumors that Xi could step down at the plenum. It's while China's Premier Li Qiang is away in North Korea and right when speculation about Xi health is getting feverish.

"And remember, on the very day the rare earth restrictions were announced, which was Thursday, the rumor that Xi had suffered a stroke was all over social media outside China. It's very likely that this is a desperate move by Xi's team to conceal his health crisis.

"To prove Xi Jinping is still actively in charge, they had to roll out policies that bear his personal signature: Heavy-handed, hardline measures that scream 'Xi Jinping!' all over. And these actions may look irrational, but that's because the motive behind them is desperation...

"If you want to understand what's really happening in Beijing, in Zhongnanhai, then the next five minutes or maybe seven minutes is crucial…

"Even though Xi Jinping has lost the core of his power, he's still the leader. His loyalists have been purged from the military and key posts but many technocrats in those ministries still follow his orders, because by training, that's what they do. So as long as Xi Jinping remains in his position – even in name only – his command chain isn't completely paralyzed.

"One analyst estimates that Xi Jinping still controls about 10% of the military, 20% of personnel decisions, 50% of economic policy, 80% of foreign affairs, and nearly all propaganda. So on average, he still has 50% of the power left. So the CCP machine continues to operate as if Xi were fully in charge...

"And to cover up his health crisis, his team likely instructed those bureaucrats in the foreign ministry, in the commerce ministry and in the transport ministry to carry out the new directives. None of them would dare challenge their superiors in the CCP's system. And remember, Premier Li Qiang, who oversees these ministries, is currently out of country in North Korea to attend Kim Jong-un's military parade. So that helps, too.

"Xi Jinping must be in such a bad shape that his people resorted to such drastic moves. And the goal is to buy time by creating chaos, chaos that the anti-Xi camp will have to clean up."

Interestingly, Trump's post over the weekend kind of seemed to reflect an understanding of this:

NY Post: "Trump says ‘don’t worry about China’ after Beijing responds to 100% tariff threat" - Pub. Oct 12, 2025
Regardless of whether Xi is ill, Lei believes the hardline rare earths directives can serve as a way to get the bureaucracy to consolidate around him.

Something Lei never talks about and doesn't seem to be aware of is the role of the CCP in stealing the elections of 72 countries, including those of the US over the past two decades.

President Trump has never discussed this publicly. He's said the 2020 election was stolen but he's never gotten into exactly who did it. This is because the answer is very complex and the subject of an active investigation by the Department of Justice.

Gary Bertsen and Ralph Pezzullo book, 'Stolen Elections' summarizes the global election theft operation as being run out of Belgrade, Serbia, using giant Chinese Huawei servers, running Venezuelan software operated by hundreds of engineers from Venezuela, Cuba, China, Iran and Serbia. They also say that members of the FBI, CIA and DHS were recruited into this operation and that the media has been completely bought off to lie about this by the Venezuelan Cártel de los Soles.

But the election theft operation is not really a Venezuelan or a Chinese operation. It's a Globalist operation, as with COVID, the mail-in ballot hoax and with the nanotech bioweapon.

In this October 6th podcast with Michael Jaco, Juan O Savin began to speak about who's really behind all of this and who "They" are, at around 43 minute mark:

"What is, at first look, China; to understand that there is a royalist component; these people seeking their empire and to continue with their empire, their imperialist ideals out into the next centuries, they want to destroy humanity as we now know it. They believe that they can own the future by killing the rest of the planet off; starving us to death, choking us to death, through war and seeing us destroyed.

"And so, we will see the American component of that; where they have infiltrated, become part of our government, been supported, funded to bring America back under the heel of these royals and the organizations that they operate and fund, in plain sight that seem so 'benign' or 'American'.

"It's not just one, it's multiple organizations that seem disconnected at one level, but at another level are totally connected. It's not 33 degrees, it's 360 degrees of various, groups and people working together – most of the time, even those individuals not understanding how completely interconnected their actions are at the highest, highest levels…

"What I'm going to put a lot of my energy into [is] helping to connect all of those dots, so that people see that even these minions who seemed so powerful, here in America at various times and got their way, there's other chessboards that are out-of-sight, where these manipulators are moving and working from, to try to control the course of the world for their advantage – and to destroy the world with their wars and famines and stuff like that, for their desired outcome, which is a depopulated planet where only their Chosen Ones get to be part of the future.

"And I want people to understand that, think about it. We'll try to, to pull the pieces together as much as possible to make it clearer and clearer. And I think as these prosecutions go through, that's what I hope, within this audience and other similar that begins to gel and make sense, so we see beyond the visible people, just like you would see beyond Soros, himself and understand he's just a figurehead for something much larger, a conflict that's much greater.

"And then understanding that, you know, we're only at some level, at a midpoint, as we begin to go and pluck up some of these useful idiots that are even in powerful positions, who, themselves are just pawns in a much larger game to own and control the world." "

I have never been to China. Only know China thru Vietnam long history of struggle with its giant neighbor to the North. China always has her eyes on her neighboring lands and Vietnam has always been the stop gate to the southeast and beyond for millenniums. When China is strong, she is all over Vietnam. Lately, the Chinese friendly faction in Vietnam is being purged left and right. China did not come to the rescue when Cambodia clashed with Thailand. As a matter of fact, Hun Sen who was set up by the Vietnamese, ditched Vietnam for China but lately has come back to his former backer. China only lets go her grip on Viet land when she has internal struggles which usually ends up with the fall of the dynasty/regime.
