Update: It looks like youtube is not going to let Dutch leave his updates on this venue. I don't know if he's still posting them on Twitch or not.
In any case, there was a sizeable quake a few hours ago in the Russian eastern Pacific, with some variations in the reported size from two different agencies, but big enough that a tsunami might be a problem on the West Coast USA.

UPDATE: Actually, Dutch (not youtube) took the videos down himself. As he reports in the next update, he took them down because of apparently deliberate, grossly inaccurate and exaggerated reports from the USGS regarding the Kamchatka quake. Lots more info in that next report.

After uploading my update to youtube last night (August 2nd into Aug 3rd 2025).. several noteworthy events took place worth mentioning and noting in light of the major seismic activity currently underway.

A very large volcanic blast occurred in South Central Indonesia from Lewotobi volcano --- measuring up to FL630 (63,000ft / 19,200m), followed by two additional updates at FL450 (45,000ft) and FL370 (37,000ft).

Additionally, Northward in the Pacific, a volcano that hasn't erupted in over 500 years has come alive next to the large M8.0+ earthquake location in Kamchatka Russia.

Last known eruption of Krasheninnikov occurred around the year 1550 AD.

The eruption from Krasheninnikov volcano caused an ash cloud approximately 28,000ft (FL280).

Following the eruption of this volcano, another 28,000 foot high blast occurred from a nearby volcano called Klyuchevskoy.

After my previous update last night (August 2nd, into August 3rd, 2025) a series of noteworthy earthquakes occurred in the South Pacific (M6.4) and back in Kamchatka Russia (M6.8 to M7.0)."

"A volcano which has not erupted in over 2000 years has been elevated from Green to Yellow status by officials in Chile due to Seismic activity unrest increasing at the location -- Laguna Del Maule Volcano .

This volcano is in addition to Krasheninnikov Volcano in Russia which erupted after 500 years silence.

Add in the other volcanic seismic activity around the planet, and one could begin to paint a picture of coming seismic unrest which takes the next step up from the M7 to M8 level we were currently at.

OR another possibility is on the table, more rare volcanic eruptive activity spreading out to adjacent plates, and antipodes of the previous breaks."

"A large M7.0 Earthquake has struck the plate boundary in Alaska, followed 8-9 minutes later by a "mistake" M6.4 earthquake being reported in Europe, which was then downgraded to M4.8 by Geophon Potdam EU.

Additionally, the eruption at Kilauea Hawaii took a visually dramatic turn, as lava fountains broke forth, spewing lava thousands of feet, even burying the USGS live camera with molten lava fragments. Quite impressive to view live.

We are now watching for a spread to take place across the West Coast and North American Craton, a noteworthy increase should take place over the next 7-10 days , going up to M5 level in both North and South California, M4 level in Idaho, Texas, and up to M3.7 in the New Madrid ... maybe even a more rare M4.0+ in the Northeast USA New Jersey area, followed by Quebec.
