(This youtube channel features lots of interesting videos, usually more than one commentators (Dutchsinse is a frequent guest).
This particular video is exploring many different "anomalies" -- or are they ancient manmade structures?? (starting with the Bosnian Pyramids) all over the world. )

That title of the youtube video needs correcting... modern humans could probably not build that complex now, but humans of the past ages might have with the unknown building techniques they apparently had.

Wow, that is fascinating by any standard, including all "artifacts still shrouded in controversy".
We just don't see evidence every day of a highly advanced civilization living separately but in tandem with "the norm".

I call fake on this vid. Watched the whole thing yesterday. No disrespect OP greybeardor anybody else who supports him, nor to anybody who has watched the vid and believes it isn’t completely fake.

The narrated story has little to zero relation to the accompanying vid clips.

The vid clips and the pics, bounce around and are repeated, in a nonsensical manner with the annoying “swoosh” audio as the visual frame slides to the next clip/pic.

The whole premise is goofy. Why would anyone be worried if their well never went dry?

Only one supposed cavern was shown repeatedly from different angles, like a big interior art project tilted 40 or 45 degrees from level, with a whimsical squarish pillar that looks like it would have a hard time standing on it’s own if it wasn’t bolted to that tall ceiling.

    Down this road we walk.
Same road but only ones there.
    We’ll meet up later.

Those caverns are old news. There are probably posts on this here from years ago.
What struck me at the time was that the grooves on the rock match the ones in Petra.

I’d love to see a better videography of the place, and maybe hear a more cogent explanation of the features. I still have trouble with all of today’s vid, but would happily change if adequately convinced.

Yes, having taken a closer look I think the channel is very suspect. Here's one of their videos posted a few days ago. This is clearly 100% nonsense.

The reason the video looks so suspect is it is mishmash of clips linked together with little apparent thought and littered with projected feelings - "chilling discovery" for example.

Nevertheless it is a real place.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longyou_Caves

Quote The caves are very large for human-made excavations: The average floor area of each cave is over 1,000 m2 (11,000 sq ft), with ceiling heights of up to 30 m (98 ft), and the total area covered in excess of 30,000 m2 (320,000 sq ft).

The ceiling, wall, and pillar surfaces are all finished in the same manner: A series of parallel bands or courses, about 60 cm (24 in) wide, containing parallel chiselling marks set at an angle of about 60° to the axis of the course.

The caves' ceilings, walls, and pillars have remained whole since they were constructed, with no apparent damage or loss of structural integrity.

Although near each other, uniform in construction and design, and apparently made for the same unknown purpose, the caves have no cross-connecting passages, even though excavating a small tunnel would have required very little effort compared to the task undertaken to excavate any one cave.

Correct, there was definitely a video posted about these before - and way better quality than the offering above.

That said, I wouldn't call it old news. For plenty of people previously unaware it is fresh information.

I was aware of the one in Turkey bur not this one, no doubt there are others -- it would seem earlier human civilisation had to protect themselves from "extinction" which is cyclic. Seems more volcanic activity and earthquakes are happening at this time. Chris

I vaguely remember the original posts about this site, and it is pretty amazing if the original reports were authentic.
But considering that it's in China and given that reports about it now that the CCP is attempting to control anything and everything that is being reported about what's going on there, (and much of what they do allow is propaganda), I would have to agree that that video is suspect.
It seems likely that access to the site is very limited too, and I had thought when I first saw this new report that it might simply have taken a long time for the data to be properly interpreted.
The CCP's policy of denying the existence and relevancy of ancient pyramids there might reflect on their policy about this site too.
It would seem they simply don't want to admit they don't know who, how or why such structures were created.

Among these are the Yangshan Quarry, the Longyou Caves, and the numerous pyramids scattered throughout China, often shrouded in mystery and suggesting a legacy of pre-flood megastructures. All of these ancient sites and megalithic structures have some kind of machine marks that suggest they were built by an advanced civilization lost to history."

Old news, new again, about Roman roads. 200 years of studies, including some good recent ones, mapping known roads made by those guys and used by everyone. Most wut factoid: estimate of known roads might be only ~3% of all the Roman roads.

    https://www.sciencealert.com/massive...nt-roman-roads

Quote It turns out that not all roads lead to Rome, after all – at least, not in a literal sense.

A new map of the empire's ancient land routes has nearly doubled the length of the confirmed ancient Roman road network, from 190,000 to 300,000 kilometers (118,000 to 186,000 miles) – with the major hubs located far from Rome itself.

And yet, the map – named Itiner-e, and made publicly available – represents, at most, just 3 percent of the entire Roman road network, says a team led by archaeologist Tom Brughmans of Aarhus University. "This was a huge surprise and a sobering realization: Roads are one of the most enigmatic topics in Roman archaeology and history, they were all over the place, we have proverbs like 'all roads lead to Rome'. How can it be that we only know the location of 3 percent with certainty?" Brughmans told ScienceAlert.

"This is in fact a hugely constructive finding. Thanks to our work, we know that localizing Roman roads precisely requires more research attention."

The ancient Roman Empire was hugely influential, with a far-reaching dominion that, at its peak, spanned 5 million square kilometers, controlled from the hub of Rome near the coast of Italy. Today, its echoes live on – its literature and propaganda, its graffiti, its art, and its architecture.

Quote Its road network was also the stuff of legend – a vast web spanning the empire, credited with playing a crucial role in the expansion and maintenance of Rome. Such was their craftsmanship and record-keeping that, even thousands of years later, we still find those ancient paths, sometimes in the most unexpected places.

Roads can teach us a lot about the ancient Romans, such as how they moved around and traded with each other, the extent and timeline of the empire's reach, and how disease spread. Yet the available data on the Roman road network was old and fragmentary.

Brughmans and his team embarked on the Itiner-e project to centralize the map in one place and make that information freely available to anyone who wished to use it.
