Question Is there a secret TI named Ashley?

I posted a similar question about this in the Cults & Societies forum as well. (I had originally copied and pasted the other here but it was deleted by admin and I am not really sure where the best place to post this would be)

Has anyone noticed a pattern in movies and tv with the name Ashley/Ash? I'm starting to see patterns with what feels like predictive programming. It is giving me eerie feeling and I keep thinking about Donald Marshall. I have not found anything else on the internet about this but I would like to start gathering evidence because it feels like there is a larger story playing out. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

    Hi Twelve Trees, and Welcome!

Well, looking up girls names, Ashley peaked in popularity in the early 90's. It was even the number one girls' name in '91 and '92 and number 2 in several other early '90's years.
So that would mean there are a whole lot of Ashleys in their early thirties now.

Name trends are interesting, how some get so very popular suddenly, and then fade out in popularity to become almost non-existent. In my day, there were a so many Susans. My school classes always seemed to have a Susan1, Susan2, Susan3, etc. Not so many little Susans now. Parents often think they are being unique when some name trends start, but little do they realize how many others are picking up on the same name in a given year.

I started compiling some evidence in my other thread, but you just reminded me of another!

In the tv series Wet Hot American Summer: 10 Years Later, the ending reveals all the presidents were in a cult, everything was a prank, and everyone is an actor. It is set in 1991 and one of the sub-plots is about a baby named Ashley that appears to be targeted by a suspicious woman.
