Default Field Theory of Consciousness book

On July 14 I posted my theory of the Field of Consciousness on the forum and it was met with a warm reception. I have just completed a mini book in the form of a presentation and placed it on Google Drive. I warmly invite you to read it and take part in the discussion. I would be happy to learn your opinion about my theory.

    Edyta
I am glad you have returned. I thought the discussion you started before was worthwhile. I am asking a few questions below and it really does not matter what the answers are but it is important (at least for me) to know.
Can you give some background on this new book and theory (When did you develop it and why)
Did AI inspire your theory, or was it human-generated
DI AI refine or help write this document https://docs.google.com/presentation...d.p#slide=id.p
I know that you somewhat answered the AI question before but it might be a good idea to address it at this time.
    Thanks for your answers

Thank you for your kind words — I’m glad you found the previous discussion valuable.
I’ll be happy to answer your questions.

About the background of the theory:
The Field Theory of Consciousness grew gradually — it came from my personal reflections, inner experiences, curiosity about the nature of awareness, and many long months of thinking, writing and refining ideas. I felt that consciousness may not be something “produced” locally, but rather something universal — like a field that different receivers (brains, organisms, maybe even AI systems) can tune into with different levels of complexity.

Was AI involved in the book?
AI did not create the theory. The ideas themselves came from my own insights and reflections. AI has been more like a conversation partner — sometimes helping me structure wording, sometimes helping me express things more clearly — but the core vision, structure and meaning of the theory are completely human-generated.

    So you could say:
    the inspiration — human,
    the thinking — human,
and AI’s role — supportive, like a tool for editing and clarity.
