I came here for the Apocalypse and I think many did. At this time, when we are retrieving shattered bits of a fragmenting artifice, NOTHING seems to make sense. Where do we find the ability to withstand the horror when we realize we cannot trust the "world" in any way we once wanted to believe.

In the Apocalypse, we SEE where in us, the WHOLE is expressed as we are fractals of LIFE. This unveiling is not for me about facts but discovering the qualities that are real under the illusion.

I KNOW that Source is within me and that I exist beyond any identity. The qualities I feel IN me are beyond context. So, I can FEEL happiness, compassion, peace... and anger, fear FROM my field. We are always struggling with the reflection of our own qualities that are un-owned. IMO God wants us to be thriving and we can perceive a new way of being. It starts with being authentic IMO... shining OUR light.

That is what I observe in people. I look for "authenticity of being... a REAL person expressing qualities. I am always seeking "how the quality FEELS"... its vibration to discern its value.

For instance, in Candace Owens, I feel some beautiful qualities like friendship, courage to speak and act, ability to reason, ability to let others have a POV and be unaffected. In the Apocalypse, IMO we will be able to feel true intentions from people. We can then decide to focus where we CHOOSE.

The feeling of SELF TRUST and connection to our kingdom of heaven within is what I choose for 2026.

Servant of God Maria Esperanza de Bianchini (1928-2004), a mystic and visionary from Barrancas, Venezuela, claimed her first mystical experience at the age of five, saying she had a vision of St. Therese of Lisieux giving her a rose. When she was twelve years old she reported having an apparition of the Blessed Mother. Throughout her life, her reported mystical gifts included healings, prophecy, reading of souls, discernment of spirits, the stigmata, transverberation, bilocation, the fragrance of flowers and perfume emanating from her person, miraculous materialization of roses, and visions and locutions of Jesus, Mary and the saints.

As a young woman, she desired to become a nun. But, in a mystical experience with Christ, she was told that it was her mission to be a wife and mother. She met her husband Geo Bianchini Gianni in Rome in 1955. They had seven children.

Maria Esperanza became known worldwide after 1984, when she and 150 other people reported seeing an apparition of the Blessed Mother at Betania, a farm in Venezuela. Her title was “Mary, Virgin and Mother, Reconciler of all Peoples and Nations.” The diocesan bishop, Msgr. Pio Bello Ricardo, approved the apparition in 1987, in consultation with Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger (the future Pope Benedict XVI), who was Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith at the time.

She died after a long illness in a home on Long Beach Island, New Jersey, in 2004. In 2010, Bishop Paul Bootkoski of the Diocese of Metuchen, New Jersey, opened her cause for canonization at the Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi in Metuchen, with 1,100 faithful present.

Fr. Timothy Byerley, pastor of St. Peter Church in Merchantville of the Diocese of Camden, New Jersey, is serving as vice postulator for the Beatification and Canonization Cause of Servant of God Maria Esperanza. He is also author of the 2014 book, Maria Esperanza and the Grace of Betania (Mary Mother Reconciler Foundation, 2014). He was ordained to the priesthood in 1985; his brother, Joseph, is also a priest of the Diocese of Camden.

He spoke recently with CWR.

CWR: You knew Maria Esperanza personally. How did you come to meet her, and what do you remember of her?

Fr. Timothy Byerley: After her Betania apparition of the Blessed Mother was approved by the diocesan bishop in 1987, she was thrust into the limelight. She was invited to be the keynote speaker at Marian conferences in the United States. She came to speak to such a group in New Jersey in the mid-90s, and I was invited to meet her. Her work was to proclaim the message of reconciliation and family healing in a world in which the family has been devastated, assisted by her extraordinary mystical gifts.

Maria Esperanza was from the rural interior of Venezuela and eventually moved to Caracas. She was naturally intelligent but had limited education. She became a woman of culture through her own efforts. Her first catechist was her mother, followed by her parish priest in the countryside. Even as a child she manifested great faith and devotion, and a concern for the things of heaven.

I found her to be a loving mother, a joyful woman and apostolic. She visited my parish and many others; people would line up to 3, 4 or 5 in the morning just to have a moment with the mystic. The priest might ask her at 1 in the morning, “Shall we conclude with a general blessing?” She would respond, “No, I will not do that. I will be here until the last one leaves.” That could mean she’d be there for 12 hours. She had a heart for souls.

Yet despite her mission to save souls, her seven children and husband never felt deprived of her love or attention. They only recall great moments of joy and unity: her splendid meals, family singing and her undivided attention when they needed her counsel.

CWR: Do you have any favorite stories about Maria Esperanza?

Fr. Byerley: Once she was in Phoenix for a series of conferences. She had some free time one day, so she went sightseeing with family and friends. At one lookout point, she saw a young couple sitting in the back of a pick-up truck. The man looked like a rough character, covered in tattoos.

Maria Esperanza’s group took a group photo at the site. She told her son-in-law to invite the couple to join them for the photo. They agreed. Maria Esperanza said to the young man, “Those tattoos must have hurt when you had them put on.” He replied, “They didn’t hurt like anything I’ve gone through in my life.”

She read his soul, and could see he had had challenging moments in his life. She suggested he look out to the beautiful sky, talked to him about the beauty of nature and introduced him to the love and mercy of God. He came to tears, and was healed by the love and prayers and concern of that compassionate woman.

Maria Esperanza also suggested he marry the young woman with him. The man hugged her, and didn’t want to let her go. He asked those with Maria Esperanza, “Who is this woman?” A friend who was with the group told me this story.

These kinds of encounters happened thousands of times. One moment with a mystic, and a life can be transformed.

CWR: What about her mystical gifts, such as the stigmata, prophecy, bilocation and reading of hearts?

Fr. Byerley: They weren’t always active in a given moment. You weren’t likely to see the stigmata, for example, except on Good Friday. Bilocation is also something hard to see; she might be in both Venezuela and Italy at a given time, but people wouldn’t realize it until sometime later.

The gifts people could grasp were things like reading hearts, making prophecies, the scent of roses in her presence, a gold light shimmering around her that was unexplainable or rose petals beginning to fall. People at a prayer meeting might see her receive Communion mystically; a Host would appear suddenly on her tongue. I’ve reviewed many such written and spoken testimonies.

It is unusual for a wife and mother to have extraordinary mystical experiences on a regular basis, but not unprecedented in Church history. Note the lives of Blessed Anna Maria Taigi (1769-1837) and St. Catherine of Genoa (1447-1510). God dispenses His graces according to His will, not our expectations.

CWR: There have also been Eucharistic miracles at Betania.

Fr. Byerley: Yes. In 1991, the chaplain of Betania was celebrating Mass for a big crowd. The Host began to bleed. It is being preserved in a monstrance in a convent of sisters in Venezuela. I’ve seen it myself. It has been analyzed by medical experts; it is human blood.

CWR: She predicted George W. Bush would win the presidency in 2000.

Fr. Byerley: Yes. A few weeks before the election, she was in a hotel suite with about a dozen people. A friend of mine was there. Someone asked her, “Who is going to win?” They showed her a newspaper with photographs of both candidates. She said, “The short one is going to win, but it will take a long time.”

My friend was thinking that there was no way she got it right. Unlike the elections in Latin America with which she was familiar, in American elections you know the next day. Well, it turned out she was right. The vote count was disputed in Florida, and it wasn’t until December 12th that the U.S. Supreme Court stepped in and stopped the counting, making George W. Bush the president. But, no one saw it coming.

CWR: What was Maria Esperanza’s message for the world?

Fr. Byerley: Her message was that the fundamental problem in society is the terrible division between people. We need reconciliation and the healing of wounded relationships, which can be racial, national, international, economic, class or religious-related. At the heart of it all is broken families. As goes the family, so goes society. Our Lady came to Betania not only to call us to family healing, but to help.

CWR: Why was Maria Esperanza in New Jersey at the time of her death?

Fr. Byerley: About 1995, Pope St. John Paul II began to manifest the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. Maria Esperanza was distressed; she thought, “He’s the moral pillar holding the world together.” So, she did something radical: she offered herself on behalf of Pope John Paul II. Shortly after, she began to manifest symptoms of Parkinson’s. She had trouble walking and had to use a wheelchair. Eventually, her organs started breaking down.

In 2003, she forced herself to come to the U.S. for a mission. She spent Christmas 2003 in Connecticut, and then came to New Jersey. She was too sick to return home. She stayed at a house on Long Beach Island, New Jersey, where she died surrounded by family and friends.

CWR: Are her children carrying on her work?

Fr. Byerley: Yes. Her seven children are leaders of the Betania Foundation, which carries on her mission. There are 20 Betania communities around the world, including ones in the United States, South America and Rome. People in prayer groups live her spirituality.

CWR: The people in Venezuela have suffered from poverty, starvation and political repression in recent years. What do you think Maria Esperanza would say about this?

Fr. Byerley: She predicted that it would come to pass. She also predicted that the country would recover, and become a model for other nations on how to overcome civil strife.

CWR: What did she have to say about the Church?

Fr. Byerley: She loved the Church, and gave her life for Her. She was concerned about unity in the Church, and authenticity and faithfulness in doctrine. She had reverence for priests and religious.

CWR: What is the status of her cause for canonization?

Fr. Byerley: We’ve made progress. The theological commission has concluded its work, declaring that there are no errors in her teaching. The historical facts of her life have been confirmed. Right now, what we’re hoping for is greater enthusiasm from the Venezuelan bishops.

CWR: Do you have any final thoughts?

Fr. Byerley: Maria Esperanza is an ideal model of family life for our contemporary world. She was exquisitely balanced and joyful, yet fully committed to her Catholic Faith. To read her story is to believe that living a full and happy life is not in contradiction to Christian virtue, but in fact, unattainable without it.

Maria Esperanza exemplified the beatitudes, and therefore was continually reconciling people with God and with one another. The mission of her life was to proclaim and spread Our Lady’s message of reconciliation and to establish it in society by witnessing to authentic Christian family life. As St. John Paul II always reminded us, “Society passes by way of the family.” When the family is fractured, society is fractured. When the family is healthy, society is healthy. The promotion of Maria Esperanza’s beatification cause is one of the greatest things the Church can do today to heal the family and thus reconstruct society.

The Power of the Great Holy Water: Healing from Illnesses and Expelling Evil Spirits, through the Grace of the Holy Spirit

Christian brethren, at the heart of the Orthodox Tradition, the Great Holy Water, sanctified on Theophany (Epiphany), carries an unlimited divine power!

The 15 Promises of Our Lady to Those Who Pray the Rosary

To all those who shall recite my rosary devoutly, I promise my special protection and very great graces.

Those who shall persevere in the recitation of my rosary shall receive signal graces.

The rosary shall be a very powerful armor against hell; it will destroy vice, deliver from sin, and dispel heresy.

The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies; it will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world to the love of God, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. How many souls shall sanctify themselves by this means!

Those who trust themselves to me through the rosary shall not perish.

He was one of the more notable Exorcists of the Diocese of Rome who has written few books.

12) The Politicians who call themselves secular are the forerunners of my kingdom…The lies masterly studied, the abuse of power diligently executed, the robbery in Mafia style, the maneuvers diplomatically done, the immorality diffused by means of press and mass media, the homicides, the kidnapping organized and executed under the threat of weapon, the spreading of different drugs through the most rigid conspiracy of silence, and many, many other crimes and social disorders.

How good are these friends, how faithful these my slaves of justice! At long last I was able to politicize also the judges! Finally, I was able to buy them with money and under-table envelopes! How many innocent people I managed to have condemned for years and years…While my followers, considered murderers and rogues I see to it that they are absolved…I make them leave prison because they have to continue to expand my kingdom of disorder, homicides, robbery, drug pushing, kidnapping of persons and of children…What a marvel are these my politicized politicians. I have such an influence on them as to make them no longer recognize what is right from what is wrong…! They are today my specialized assault-unit against justice! What a marvel to be able to free from prison the Mafiosi and leave in jail the poor who are more or less innocent! How nice to set free the false repented with whom I act with more security! And what is the never ending fighting among magistrates, if not the fruit of my presence and of my constant and insistent work? And what is the continuous fight among magistrates and politicians and the peace forces, if not the effect of the poison that I am able to constantly inject among them? 14) My particular predilection are the sects, that I continue to create and spread in the whole world. 15) My theologians, with the doctrine inspired by me…Oh, this, yes, constitutes my “diamond point” of first front line! What intelligent theologians! They have understood that those very rigid dogmas, dictated by some idiot ecclesiastical heads, in reality, they are infantile untruthfulness, which tumble down at the simple comparison with daily realities…How nice they are…Very nice…!

Besides, I convinced them to teach my doctrines not only in ordinary seminaries, but even in the highest and prestigious Pontifical Universities, even to the Roman one of your white priest (the Pope; the Lateran University). (4/7)

I inspired the doctrine of the “Death of God” and with it millions of scholars have come after me, they have become my disciples and convinced followers. Since I rule, your God is dead, He exists no longer. Therefore any restricting law is finished, all can and should live freely, as I am teaching: freedom of ideas, freedom of thought, freedom of action…One is totally free to act and do what he believes and wishes, everywhere and always, and with everyone…There is no longer any norm and rule…Each one is as I am, master of all and of everybody; your God is dead! But if God is dead, all the other dogmas have fallen: Creation, Incarnation, Resurrection, Immaculate Conception, the Eucharist and all the Sacraments, are all little stories invented to keep the Christians submissive…Behold hundreds and hundreds of my theologians, who have even the courage to challenge the white priest (the Pope) with letters and signatures…Let him prove the contrary, if he has the courage and if he is able…He has shaken his head and let my theologians continue these teachings, without the least reprimand and punishment…Hence he himself agrees with me, in the denial of all dogmas…What a wonderful man! WHAT DISPLEASES THE DEVIL MOST (DEVIL IS SPEAKING):

1) Confession…What a stupid invention…How it hurts me…It makes me suffer…The Blood of that false God…How that Blood crushes me…It destroys me…It washed your souls and make me leave you…(Horrible screams of cries)…That Blood…! That Blood…! It is my most atrocious pain…But I have found those priests who do not believe any more in confession and send the Christians to receive that false God in state of sin. Good…good…Very good…How many sacrileges I make them commit…

2) The meal where you eat the Body and Blood of that Crucified whom I have killed…It is here that I find myself hopeless and have no more strength to fight…Those who nourish themselves of this bread and drink of this Blood become very strong against me, become unconquerable to my wicked temptations and seductions, they are different from the others, it seems they have a special light and a sharper intelligence…They discover me instantaneously, they keep away from me and treat me like a dog…How sad it is, what a pain to have to do with these cannibals…(Shriek of tears) But I persecute them ferociously…And many go and eat that Host in sin…Hahaha! How happy I am for it…What a joy…They hate their God and eat Him, hahaha! My victory…Victory…Hurrah…Hurrah…

3) How irresponsible are those who waste hours and hours, day and night, kneeling, to adore a piece of bread hidden in a box on the altar of that false God! (The hour of adoration). How I hate these persons! They destroy all my success, which I draw from so many sacrilegious Christians, priests, sisters, bishops…How many sacrileges I harvest, it is my continuous victory…How much pain…How I hate these irrational adorations…!

4) Hatred for the Rosary…It is like a hammer which cracks my head…Ahii! It is the invention of the false Christians who do not obey me, for this reason they follow that wicked woman! They are false, instead of hindering me that I reign over the whole world, these false Christians go to pray to that wicked woman, my first enemy, with that how much evil they do to me….(Tearful screams…)

5) The greatest evil of this time, for me, are the continuous presence (apparitions) of this wicked woman over the world…She appears in every nation and persecutes me, snatching from my hands very many souls…Thousands and thousands…To hear her false messages…Luckily bishops and priests defend me, they do not believe in that Woman…They do not believe and so they cause confusion…Good, how nice these my apostles of hearsay…Hahahaha!

6) What destroys me mostly is the blind obedience to that man, dressed in white, the Pope, who commands in the name of the false Redeemer and of your false Savior…What a lot of senseless men…To obey a man who loves that woman….Who persecutes me for ever…What a shame….This destroys my kingdom…But I have stirred up hundreds of my followers who fight against him…War without restraint to that white man…I will win, I will win…Hahaha! I will cause him to die, murder…I will make him have a bad end…He is hateful to my followers, that Polish who loves that woman…What propaganda the rosary of that Woman, as her favorite prayer…What an enemy…! 7) Contemplative Sisters. I am much worried for those small servants with the veil on the head, who abandon everything and everybody to enclose themselves within four walls, to sacrifice everything that is beautiful and good for that God that only I was able to defeat (he refers to the enclosure sisters)…

Day and night they mortify themselves with midnight watch and foolish and inconsistent fasting…They do not sleep sufficiently…Do not eat according to the needs of the body which claims the necessary food…Do not speak freely everywhere and always…reserved…long faces…full of sadness, the most inhuman….They pray, they sing…And for whom do they do all these sacrifices? For what particular motives…With what end….with what results?

The greatest majority, fortunately, are people of little intelligence….Obtuse minds…without will…who allowed themselves to be convinced by some unsatisfied priest…Poor women who do not know and did not experience the true pleasure of sex with all the relative joy it gives…! Poor little servants, who have never felt the sensations of the flesh, caused by the kisses and the intercourse with my men…And yet, how many of them I make fall…I reduce them to a miserable life, sterile, void of every fervor, plunging them in the utmost tepidity…Yes I should make a real destruction of them…Because I am particularly afraid of the cloistered ones…I have a terrible fear of them…!

They are the most terrible and aggressive enemies…they snatch souls of every sex, of every class and condition from my hands…What terrible enemies…When they begin to pray for the conversion of a soul, to snatch it from me, they do not cease….Do not stop any longer…They are tenacious and hardheaded! If then the prayers to the false God Crucified, of whom they call themselves his spouses, were not sufficient, then they would give themselves to strenuous penance of every kind….What enemies….What soldiers of first assault…! I have attempted so many times to diminish the vocations to this stupid life…But unfortunately I was not successful…They are still many the small stupid and foolish women, even though they often are just graduated from college…What strong enemies….!

8) My most great enemies are those priest whom they call exorcists…What an ugly race…What a disgrace of the world…Fortunately there are few of them, very few because I convince the bishop not to appoint them…These bishops believe in me and obey me, in spite of the command of their Crucified Christ who commanded them: “In my name, expel demons.” What a clown!!! These bishops are afraid of me, much fear! I possess them in a way perhaps very delicate because though they do not realize it, I possess them…And I convince them not to perform exorcisms against them and I do not permit them to nominate exorcists…What ferocious enemies…Many times, I was able to punish them…To slap them…To beat them, to stop them with many and various diseases, sometimes even grave ones…But unfortunately they do not cease…Do not give up…And when they come near to my prey, I have to flee…Sooner or later I have to quit…What prayer do they recite…? It is always in the name of that God…and of that their Woman, Mother of the Crucified…Oh, what a pain, what an agony for me…!

Comment: The list is shocking. It deserves reflection, deserves an examination of conscience for everybody. Above all, it asks for continuous prayer and penance. It deserves the frequent practice of sacramental Confession, where the blood of Jesus purifies us and gives us a powerful shield with which to defeat our enemy.

These are examples given as a lesson to all of us, so that we may keep away from sin and live in the true LOVE, Jesus Christ, who has given his precious BLOOD for us, our life and salvation. (7/7)
