    Please forgive me if this is a bit off-topic but every time I listen to the beautiful music played by the Graystones I can't help thinking, generally speaking, this is what children can do when they're not vaccinated. It's good hear that they're planning on producing their own originals in the future.

    It seems that all good things often come to an end, and in this case I was so very sad to hear it.

    It's hard to know exactly what's happened, but Max (the bass player) and Hope (the super-talented singer) are no longer on the Greystones' website.

    Hope has released a single:

    ...and the band manager posted this statement a few days ago:

    ~~~
    A response from the Band Manager for the Graystones
    “Thank you for your email asking about changes happening with The Graystones. We apologize for the radio silence as we have been navigating through some transitions and privacy is very important to us.
    Yes, it is true that some of the musicians that have played with The Graystones have moved on to pursue other projects. We respect their decision and remain friends. Our position is that the more music and art brought into this world, the better.
    We will provide a little more clarity on the situation once things are more settled but will also be mindful of the privacy of the children and their families.
    We are immensely grateful for your continuous interest in the band, your love of the music and your concern for our well-being. As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited about the future and eager to create more music to share with all of you!
    Thank you again for your support."
    What are the odds some industry snake whispered in one of those kids' ears and tempted them away to pursue more green and "lucrative" pastures? Sadly, you see it very often with young, talented performers coming out with fresh, wholesome content. They get their ears bent, and their pockets filled. They sign a contract, and then the label rules their lives. They're told what to say, what to wear, how to act, and what to record. Their clean-cut image disappears. They're a member of the "club" now. Another industry clone. Then it's parties and drugs, and god knows what else. The downward spiral then begins.
