Hi all

Horrifying books are ok only rule is it has to be really horrifying not just a little bit scary. Edit: the more personal the better

Disgust is part of it too, oh I hope this doesn't get deleted

Why do I care? Because I'm attempting to trigger myself before going further down this rabbit hole. Who else wants to get triggered lol

I'll go first

1. The alien love bite by eve lorgen

I read most of it, enough to know I'm involved, but can't get past there

2. Horse porn

Old man showed it to me cuz he thought I'd find it funny. No not funny man

3. Spiders

They turn my stomach. And some people think they're sweet!

I haven't been horrified or disgusted much over the course of my life so I guess I should consider myself lucky. Please share your experiences and then see what happens

Hi Petra. Eve Lorgen's books are quite good. Like you, I have had some experiences myself.
Have you read her other book, "The dark side of Cupid"?
About 25 years ago, I had a contact by phone with her once. Nice lady.

What horrifies me the most are my own struggles and demons - occasional feelings of restlessness, that nothing in this world is right, fear and terror for the future (not mine but my child's). Which brings me to the next horror - and that is the feeling that we live in a world where having a child means being trapped and blackmailed by fear for that little person.

In general, all the cruelty in this world towards all living things horrifies me, and it is terrible that we are all in some way subjected to it.
sidenote: I am otherwise a cheerful person

I tried to read it but was left with more questions. She does seem really nice, I just don't think I was ready to find out because every time I try to look into it I get sickened and disgusted. Healing is hard!
