Very interesting interview with professor Jeffry Sachs.

Quoting Jeffrey Sachs, regarding the letter that Donald Trump sent to the prime minister of Norway about Greenland:
“This (letter) is terrifying, either he (president Trump) is insane, or he’s not insane, we don’t know which, but either way it’s terrifying. If this is serious, and this is how our president speaks, we have lost our country, our democracy, our system and our safety.… This is gangsterism, and generally gangsterism ends in shoutouts.”

Jeffery Sachs BLOWS UP Over Greenland Letter, Gaza Board Of Peace

    - Also, interesting discussion on the hypocrisy and double standards of EU leaders regarding Israel, Iran, Venezula, etc.
    - And Trump's proposed 'Board of Peace' for Gaza is absurd, not going to happen.

We're now at 20 January 2026, exactly one year after Trump's inauguration. I thought of changing the thread title (it's hardly 'Day 1' any more!), but on balance I'm still feeling we may need to continue to review all this day by day.

Davos PANIC: Trump Arrives to Dismantle WEF (The End of Globalism)

06:31 Davos 2026: The Last Gasp of the Globalist Order
09:52 Trump's Board of Peace: Building the Post-Davos World

In this episode, Barbara Boyd from Promethean Action explores the dramatic geopolitical shift as European nations deploy military personnel to Greenland in response to President Trump's ambition to acquire the island. She discusses the implications of NATO's Article Five, the strategic significance of Greenland, and the potential economic repercussions for European countries.

Boyd also delves into Trump's unprecedented approach at the World Economic Forum in Davos, breaking down how his policies are dismantling the Globalist agenda and establishing new economic institutions. As Trump negotiates and possibly dictates terms with global elites, Boyd argues that a new world order led by sovereign nation states focused on economic growth and peace is emerging.

Note that this deal was done during the first Trump administration:

Quote In January 2026, Japan’s Board of Audit reported that military equipment worth about $6.9 billion, purchased from the United States under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program, has not yet been delivered to the Japan Self-Defense Forces.

The audit noted that more than five years have passed since the contracts were signed, but the equipment has still not arrived. According to Defence Blog, the findings were outlined in a report submitted to Japan’s parliament at the request of the House of Councillors.

The report revealed that 118 procurement contracts remain unfulfilled well beyond their originally planned delivery schedules. ...
    https://militarnyi.com/en/news/japan...n-in-weapons/]

    Trump's second administration:

"the U.S. president claimed Wednesday that Tokyo “had agreed to buy BILLIONS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF MILITARY AND OTHER EQUIPMENT." (It seems this was not a new deal as Trump claimed but the deal from his first administration, which Japan had paid for but nothing was ever delivered.)

    https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/20...defense-trump/

It is worth reading the first article in full to see what kind of deal Japan signed with Trump. This is how the USA does business?

If the lid ever does come off, there will probably be a lot of finger pointing and heated fights about blame, but, behind the scenes, the USA is a mess. I suspect that there are a lot of stories like this about Biden, and previous presidents, and that Trump's presidency is ALL like this. In normal countries, stuff like this is exposed and the people are not afraid to howl for the president to be held accountable, but this story was in the media and everyone just moved along, and Trump is 'the second coming of Christ' delusions continue.

🚨🇺🇸 WHITE HOUSE QUIETLY REBUILDS SECRET UNDERGROUND BUNKER BENEATH EAST WING

So while everyone’s arguing about Trump’s giant White House ballroom, the actual action is happening underground.

They quietly tore out the old Cold War bunker under the East Wing and are rebuilding something new, very secret, very expensive.

This is the same space where Cheney hid on 9/11, presidents practiced apocalypse drills, and the infrastructure still ran on 1940s logic.

Officials won’t say much beyond “top secret” and “national security”... which is just slang for: trust us, stop looking.

They even skipped normal approval steps because apparently democracy doesn’t fit in a classified bunker.

Public gets the ballroom spectacle. Real story's whatever high-tech doomsday cave replaces the old one.

Oh boy...... Trump's team in Davos (and George who made this video...)....kicking a**

And what's with Macron wearing the glasses looking like he's auditioning for a B Movie version of the Godfather - ?

George, who has put the video together doesn't hold back and is clearly a big supporter of Trump and enjoying the whole spectacle - as the (testosterone challenged?) WEF lackeys get what's coming to them - - - - when Trump makes his speech the whole world will be watching in anticipation - (let's hope his security is impenetrable and the skies around him protected from potential assassins....)

No doubt the likes of Andrew Napolitano and Jeffrey Sachs will be getting their fingers exercised ready to wag them at all things Trump and tut tut all over the place - lol -

World Jewish Congress President Ronald Lauder involved in Trump’s push for Greenland - report
Since Trump’s first term, Lauder has, according to the Guardian, acquired commercial holdings in Greenland. Some analysts see his suggestion to Trump as a way to personally benefit.

    January 20, 2026

World Jewish Congress President and longtime friend of US President Donald Trump, Ronald Lauder, may have helped spark Trump’s interest in acquiring Greenland, according to a new report in The Guardian on Thursday.

Former national security adviser John Bolton, who left the first Trump administration in 2019, told the British newspaper that Trump summoned him to the Oval Office and said that a billionaire, later identified as Lauder, had proposed that the United States buy Greenland.

According to Bolton, Trump's close friends hold sway over the president’s actions. “Bits of information that he hears from friends, he takes them as truth, and you can’t shake his opinion,” he told the Guardian.

Someone should tell Trump that Iceland and Greenland are different things ...

Trump: "There are windmills all over Europe. There are windmills all over the place. And they are losers. One thing I've noticed is that the more windmills a country has, the more money that country loses, and the worse that country is doing. China make almost all of the windmills, and yet I haven't been able to find any wind farms in China. Did you ever think of that? They put up a couple big wind farms but they don't use them, they just put them up to show people what they could look like. They don't spin, they don't do anything."

Cataract operations? The most likely explanation. It would explain the tinted glasses... protection while the eyes heal, but cataract operations do not always restore perfect eyesight so he may be wearing some kind of prescription glasses as he cannot wear contacts until the eyes fully heal.

Donald Trump addresses world leaders at WEF in Davos
Guardian News - 7 hours ago

The first 13 minutes of this recording is 'dead air' then there is a short introduction by Larry Fink (Blackrock), then Trump walks on and begins speaking.

He finally tells the world that the 2020 US presidential election was stolen. So far, the world's media is avoiding that and drawing attention to Greenland.

I do not think that that is the real Donald Trump at the WEF in Davos.

In this scene, at the 16:58 mark of the video that norman posted above, as Trump walks on stage, we see Larry Fink (with glasses, on our left, the CEO of Blackrock) and Trump, with his famous shock of blond hair, on our right.

By all accounts that I can find, Larry Fink is approximately 5 ft 7 in tall. In this image, Trump looks to be about the same height, maybe a wee bit shorter, than Fink, not the 6 ft and 2 or 3 inches that Trump is officially stated to be. If this was the real Trump, and if he was indeed that tall (and there have been many times in the past when he seemed to have such height), then Trump would be half a foot taller than Fink.

    That's not Trump.

WASHINGTON, January 21. /TASS/. A plane carrying US President Donald Trump has departed for Zurich after landing at Andrews Air Force Base near Washington, the AFP news agency reported.

According to the White House press pool, the US leader transferred to a smaller aircraft. The decision to return to Andrews Air Force Base was made after malfunctions were identified in the onboard electrical systems.

Trump is set to participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos.

    JUST IN | Davos

Trump arrived in Davos and nobody was there to receive him.

No official welcome. No delegation. Just silence.

That’s the sound of the world moving on.

Two things come to mind when I see this post

    1. No World leaders were met by the Swiss government or WEF officials. This is just another effort to make Trump appear isolated from the world; nothing could be further from the truth. Some leaders may be upset with him, but isolating him, they absolutely will not do.
    2. One thing is for certain, the Davos contingent hates Trump because he has once again set back their efforts to move a One World Government forward. Trump is an unabashed antiglobalist and some are even calling Trump's second term in office the end of globalism.
