They continue to replicate in corpses and send out signals.

Maybe the case, who knows, but one thing is certain: those corpses, contaminated or otherwise, are in the ground and six feet under, not walking around on the grass. What those sensors are picking up isn't physical!

Update: I may have got something wrong, as the nanotech in corpses are still sending out signals, according to the microscopy work that Dr. Ana and her colleagues at Humanity United Now have been doing, but I am not sure that they are still replicating. They appear to be harvesting energy from living cells in living humans, but that would logically no longer be possible in corpses.

This location in Altadena, California is called Gravity Hill. There are two folklore stories listed below of why cars roll up hill.

The most popular folklore involves a school bus full of children who allegedly died on the road. Their ghosts are said to haunt the hill, pushing cars up to prevent drivers from suffering the same fate they did.

While another myth is that a high school girl took her parents' car out for a joyride with friends, but it spun out of control, rolling down and crashing before killing everyone inside. Locals believe the spirit of the girl and her pals haunt the road.

This demonic looking sculpture appeared near Joshua Tree Highway in Nevada which isn't far from Area 51. As he gets close to it you can see the tips burning as if it's real. This story also popped up on Dailymail on 12/08/25 in the same area.

Speculation claims it could be a promo for an upcoming video game.

One fan traveled to the desert and suggested it might be linked to God of War. Others floated theories pointing to Doom: The Dark Ages DLC, The Elder Scrolls VI, Elden Ring 2, a Diablo IV expansion, a new Castlevania, a brand-new dark-fantasy IP or even Lords of the Fallen 2.
