Snowstorm Chaos in Japan! 7 feet of Snow Buried Roads, Homes & Cars in Sapporo & Aomori (8:24)
(Feb 3, 2026) Northern Japan is hit by one of the heaviest winter snowstorms in decades, with Hokkaido and Aomori Prefecture receiving up to 7 feet of snow. Sapporo recorded over 3 feet in January, causing severe disruptions to transportation and municipal services. Emergency crews and the Self-Defense Forces are deployed to clear roads, support residents, and prevent structural hazards.
