I’ve always paid for the TV Licence until the last term and I received an Enforcement Notice last week even though I completed a Declaration online to say I didn’t watch live TV or BBCiplayer and this is true. I also received an acknowledgement from them that they’d received it. I don’t miss watching live TV one little bit, not even GB News which I used to watch every day, and I’m no longer being indoctrinated or bashed by any right or left wing bias any more.

Months ago I read that the cost of the tv licence is added to the Council Tax in Germany and that it may be one option in the UK in the future. It’s more expensive than here btw and the barrister in the above video said it would probably be going up (It’s currently £174.50 a year).

Other countries where a tv licence is mandatory are: Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Ireland, Japan, and some African countries. Countries where the tv licence has been abolished or isn’t paid are Nordic countries Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway and Iceland, France, Slovakia, Australia and New Zealand.

There’s no love lost between the BBC and Reform, who are tipped to win the next General Election, and hopefully this may stand the UK in good stead. A subscription and/or advertising would be the best way forward for the BBC imo but they have blotted their copybook over the years for their bias, paying people off like Hugh Edwards, not to mention the link with Jimmy Savile, and more recently doctoring interviews to mean something quite different.

Oh waw, do I now have to rip the radio (including the podcast listening function) out of the car I got last summer ?

I don't mind dumping all radio receivers out of my house ( I'm sick of radio ), but mess with my car ?

This crap has got to end. They have no case to argue that they are a necessary public service. They abandoned that path a long time ago. At this point, the more they say that they are, the more we know they are not, and the more ashamed many of us are to have ever been fooled.

Ironically, the 'covid' seniors culling they more than supported has weakened what was their strongest excuse to stick around a while longer.

Can BBC TV Licensing Do This?

So to be clear a STATE broadcasting organization with a huge US and Global audience deliberately spliced audio from a Presidential candidate weeks before an election to make it appear that the candidate had said exactly the opposite from what he actually said.

This is blatant and deliberate Election Interference by a foreign state.

If you say it was not the British State, but an arms length agency that does not represent UK State narratives - OK, it might be argued as such but it still means that the US state was 'attacked' by a UK state agency, and their BEEF should be with the UK STATE. It should be 'how did you allow your National Broadcaster to attack our Democracy so blatantly??

Its a part of the growing detestation that the Right in America is feeling towards the UK and Europe, a lot of it justified.
