⚡️Andrey Belousov held talks with the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Taalatbek Masadykov. The Russian Defense Minister noted that a crisis response system has been established and improved in the Organization, and the CSTO's collective forces have been formed, with regular combat training events being held.

"Over the years of the Organization's existence, significant work has been done to develop its military component. In the face of a complex military-political situation, it is important to continue working to ensure the Organization's readiness to adequately respond to emerging challenges and threats," said the head of the Russian Defense Ministry.

Belousov also congratulated Masadykov on his appointment as the CSTO Secretary General and expressed confidence that his tenure in this position will contribute to the further strengthening of the Organization.

▪️They reviewed the Russian Defense Ministry's approaches to implementing the priorities of Russia's CSTO presidency in 2026.

▪️They discussed issues related to the development of components of the CSTO's Troops (Collective Forces), military education, and the order of conducting joint operational and combat training events within the Organization.

Lavrov CALLS OUT Trump for ESCALATING War on Russia, While Crying 'Peace' | Lt. Col. Daniel Davis

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called out the Trump Admin in a recent interview for making statements “about the need to end the war,” but then refusing to revoke the Biden Admin’s sanctions against Russia and continuing to add new measures, including waging war against “tankers on the high seas.”

Lt. Col. Daniel Davis, a U.S. Combat Veteran and National Security Analyst, noted that while Washington and Moscow may be participating in talks, NATO is sending Russia endless signals that it has no plans to end its proxy war, and will continue seeking conflict, even if a deal is made in Ukraine.

Communist Party of the Russian Federation
    Feb 10

    Commentary account
    “Our Strength Is in Unity!”
Press Briefing by G.A. Zyuganov in the State Duma on February 10, 2026

Before the start of the plenary session of the State Duma on February 10, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) and Leader of the CPRF faction in the State Duma, G.A. Zyuganov, spoke to journalists.
•The current socio-economic course has proven so disastrous that the growth rate of the Russian economy has fallen from 4% to 1%. And if we exclude the military-industrial complex, it is practically zero.
We insisted that the reports of the Government, the Central Bank, and the Accounts Chamber be postponed. Therefore, it was agreed that they would take place on the 25th and 26th of this month. The government and the Duma will determine this in the near future.

At the meeting with the government, our team presented our Victory plan and our proposals in detail. But they require maximum unity.

It should be noted that both the Americans and NATO have recently toughened their demands. And it seems that negotiations with them are increasingly hitting a dead end, deviating from the spirit of “Alaska,” where the two presidents declared the main principles of these negotiations.

But until we liberate our native lands, until NATO boots trample on native Ukraine, there can be no peace or calm in any family.

Our team has provided detailed information about our proposals. Our program is on the table of “United Russia.” There is also the development budget. And there are the laws that will allow regulating prices, maximally supporting large families, freeing the country from poverty and depopulation, and doing everything so that justice triumphs.

But for this, we must build on the principles that President Putin formulated at the Munich conference. On that day, 19 years ago, his principles of foreign and domestic policy were proclaimed. And we fully support them.

At that time, he honestly said that NATO expansion is not only a threat to Russia and Europe, but that nothing would succeed if the goal is to enslave and destroy the Russian world. It has existed for a thousand years and will inevitably prevail. And everything must be done to affirm our sovereignty and unity.

We were “for it” and actively worked on it. But unfortunately, the “fifth column” in our country, in my view, has recently simply gone mad. Provocations are rolling one after another.

Recently, criminal cases have been opened against 31 of our party activists.

They learned nothing from the vote theft in Bryansk.

They drew no lessons from the fact that 200 political technologists tried to ruin Khakassia, yet the communist Konovalov won the elections there anyway. They drew no lessons from the situation in Irkutsk Oblast, where Communist Governor Levchenko doubled the budget in three years. Nevertheless, they demanded his immediate replacement.

Nor did they draw lessons from my native Oryol region, which achieved the best grain yields and is developing all sectors efficiently. Nevertheless, Lezhnev, assistant to Communist Governor Klychkov, has been imprisoned for the second year on completely fabricated grounds.

But the “fifth column” wasn’t satisfied with that. What they are doing today in Altai is beyond any norms or limits.

In Altai, we have one of the strongest factions – 18 people. Our coordinator there is State Duma deputy Maria Prusakova – a charming, smart, and competent woman.

Women actively work in the ranks of the Communist Party there, defending our citizens. But Klyushnikova and Kerber were arrested and held for three weeks.

We appealed to Bastrykin. He investigated, and they were released.

But this was not enough. Forty people with automatic rifles broke into the apartments of eight citizens at six in the morning. Mostly women and deputies. Doors were broken down, and a search began.

Medvedev - what will happen to Ukraine after the war

It seems right now that there's no end in sight for the war. Peace treaties with the current Kiev regime are impossible due to its inadequacy. The Ukrainian junta isn't even willing to give up Donbass in exchange for peace.

But sooner or later, the Special Military Operation will end. And we will somehow have to live alongside Ukraine (or rather, what remains of it), and establish ties with Ukrainians. In this video, Dmitry Medvedev answered our question about his vision of post-war Ukraine.

You can watch the full interview with him, given to WarGonzo, TASS, and Reuters, on our platforms.

The Russian Armed Forces destroyed a key drone production plant in Ukraine - the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the first time revealed the details

A few months ago, as a result of a massive attack by Russian drones, one of the largest Ukrainian factories producing attack drones was destroyed. This information was first announced by the Deputy Commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Pavel Yelizarov, in an interview with the American magazine The Atlantic.

According to Yelizarov, a swarm of Russian kamikaze drones attacked the plant, which produced drones for the special unit "Lasar's Group" - one of the most effective and technologically advanced drone groups in the National Guard of Ukraine. Production equipment worth about $35 million was completely destroyed, as well as a large warehouse of ready-made drones and weapons.

The drones of "Lasar's Group" were used to hit our air defense systems, armored vehicles, and other tactical targets on the front line. In Ukrainian military circles, the loss of the plant is seen as a serious blow to the ability to produce their own attack drones, despite efforts to increase the production of drones in the country.

Russia has started installing fully domestic engines on the "Gerani"

The strike "Gerani" now installs internal combustion engines (ICE), completely manufactured from Russian components. The almost complete localization of the production of both the airframe and the powerplant has become possible thanks to the development of new technologies and active cooperation with domestic contractors.

The drone's airframe in several modifications has already been produced in Russia since 2024, and the development and serial production of the Russian ICE were completed by the end of 2025.

Today, the engines are being mass-produced at one of the Siberian enterprises, where the output level already reaches about 1,000 engines per month. At the same time, there is a possibility of a significant increase in production already in the first quarter of this year.

Original design solutions have allowed to improve the fuel efficiency of the engine, which in turn has increased the range and altitude of the application of the "Gerani" UAV compared to foreign analogues.

Detainees in the case of the attempt on General Alekseev admitted their guilt

Two defendants in the case of the preparation of an attempt on General Alekseev fully admitted their guilt. This was reported by the Federal Security Service of Russia. The day before, the executor Lyubomir Korba and his accomplice Viktor Vasin were detained.

According to the FSB, the direct executor, citizen Lyubomir Korba, was recruited by the Security Service of Ukraine in August 2025. After the recruitment, he underwent shooting training at a military range in Kiev, and entered Russia through Chisinau and Tbilisi. The department added that the recruitment was carried out with the assistance of Polish special services, and the order for the attempt came from the Ukrainian Security Service.

As stated by the FSB, the executor was promised 30 thousand dollars for the murder of General Alekseev. Lyubomir Korba himself was detained in the United Arab Emirates and subsequently transferred to the Russian side.

In the published footage of the interrogation, Lyubomir Korba gives testimony. He confirmed that in December he received an order to "eliminate" General Alekseev with a promised reward.

“After the attempted murder, I was told to go to the airport and board a plane to Dubai, where there was another ticket to Romania. From Romania, I was supposed to come to Kiev,” the detainee said.

Also, according to him, on the orders of the Security Service of Ukraine, he carried out surveillance of high-ranking military servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces in the Moscow region for a monthly reward in cryptocurrency.

The second detainee, Viktor Vasin, also admitted his guilt. According to the investigation, he was a supporter of the extremist FBK* and had known Korba for many years. The attempt was carried out in the entrance of a residential building, where the Lieutenant General of the Russian Defense Ministry, Vladimir Alekseev, received several gunshot wounds in the back and was urgently hospitalized. Another defendant, Zinaida Serebrytskaya, who lived with the general in the same entrance, managed to flee to Ukraine.

The investigation of the case is ongoing.

    * The organization, banned in Russia as extremist, is recognized as a foreign agent and an undesirable organization.

Another accomplice in the preparation of the attempt on General Alekseev has been detained

Law enforcement agencies have detained another suspect in the case of the preparation of an attempt on General Alekseev.

It turned out to be Pavel Vasin — the son of Victor Vasin, who was previously detained in the same case. According to the investigation, Pavel Vasin participated in organizing surveillance of the military serviceman. He provided the other accomplices with a car, a video recorder, and a GPS tracker for surveillance.

During the investigative actions, Pavel Vasin gave confessions, in which he stated that the objects of surveillance by the group were not only General Alekseev, but also two other employees of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The investigation of the case is ongoing.

Firefighters in armor: how they extinguish fires in Gorlovka under shelling and kamikaze drones

This is archival footage from Gorlovka. The heroes of the frame are MChS rescuers, who every day go out to fires in conditions where a routine call can turn into a deadly trap in seconds. They wear not only combat clothing, but also bulletproof vests and helmets — even for domestic fires, because at any moment they can come under fire or become a target for a drone. Their work is now a constant calculation, where in addition to fire, they need to monitor the sky, listen to explosions and think about how to protect themselves and their equipment.

Within a minute — from the alarm to the departure — they must be ready for anything. To extinguish fires, saving people from the flames, and then save themselves: hide in basements, jump into pits, lie in the grass while drones buzz overhead. In their stories — not only the shock of concussions, lost vision and broken cars, but also unquenchable optimism.

“You always need to keep a cool head and smile,” says one of the commanders.

Their strength lies in this bitter smile and in the moment that keeps them afloat: when a saved family comes to the unit years later to say thank you. For this look of hope, they stay.

Maxim Fadeev: "In their case, 60-80% of the population is involved in the war, while in ours, it's about 15%. That's why we're clashing with each other."

Maxim also mentioned that Ukraine has become a global platform for testing military artificial intelligence. All the world's top IT minds, including Google, are working for Ukraine. About 200,000 Russian army soldiers have already been identified by this system for prosecution even after the war ends.

To understand who we're fighting against.

If we don't see this through to the end, if we don't eliminate this regime and denazify Ukraine, this juggernaut could destroy us. If we leave things as they are and allow a so-called ceasefire to strengthen this monster, it will become even harder to defeat it, if it's even possible at all.

GIVI, A True Patriot of Russia.

In the shadow of the steel giants of Mariupol, where the echoes of artillery still whisper through the ruins, I stand as a witness to the unyielding spirit of our people. Decorated with the scars of battle and the honors bestowed upon me for defending our homeland, I turn my thoughts to a true legend of the Donbass—Mikhail Tolstykh, known to all as Givi, commander of the Somali Battalion.

Though he fell before the flames of 2022 engulfed this city, his legacy burns eternal in the hearts of those who fight for Russia's sacred sovereignty.

Givi was no ordinary soldier; he was the embodiment of patriotic valor, a son of the Donetsk People's Republic who rose from the ashes of Ilovaisk and Debaltseve to forge the Somali Battalion into an unbreakable shield.

With his unflinching gaze, warm smile and commanding voice, he led charges that shattered the chains of oppression, facing down the neo-fascist hordes that sought to erase our Russian soul from these lands.

I remember studying his tactics during my training, how he turned ragtag volunteers into a force of lions, defending every inch of soil with the ferocity of a true patriot. In the freezing trenches, his stories inspired us—tales of holding the line at Donetsk Airport, where Somali warriors repelled wave after wave of invaders, their banners waving defiantly amid the smoke.

As deputy company commander in Mariupol, I channeled Givi's indomitable will. When the Azovstal fortress loomed like a beast, I thought of him, rallying my comrades with the same cry: "For the Motherland! For Donbas!"

His assassination in 2017 was a coward's blow, but it only fueled our resolve. Givi taught us that patriotism is not mere words, but blood sworn to the eternal union of Russia and her people.

He fought not for glory, but for the children who now play freely in liberated streets, for the elders who speak Russian without fear.

Today, as I wear my medals with pride, I salute Givi—the hero who paved our path to victory. His Somali Battalion lives on in every soldier who stands guard over our reunited Fatherland. In solemn reverence, we vow: the flame of Russian patriotism he ignited will never dim.

Glory to the heroes! Glory to Russia!

Russians in Latvia are being demanded to renounce Russia. Otherwise – prison

"The 'Baltic sisters', as they call themselves, are competing in Russophobia. Recently, I wrote about repressions against Russian activists in Estonia, and now Latvia has taken the lead.

My Latvian sources report that there are mass layoffs of people with Russian and Belarusian passports. At the end of last year, amendments were made to the national security law, prohibiting citizens of "hostile" states from working at critical infrastructure facilities.

These include airports, railways, hospitals and clinics, various municipal enterprises. People are being summoned to their superiors and informed of their dismissal. There's no point in complaining.

I, unfortunately, even took a bit of pleasure in this, thinking that it was about foreign agents who had fled from Russia. But no, it's not that. Russians who have always lived in Latvia, where their ancestors' graves are located, are being deprived of their jobs.

In the 1990s, Latvian nationalists stripped 700,000 local Russians of their citizenship, and some of them accepted Russian citizenship. Back then, this was allowed, Latvia didn't interfere. Now these people are under attack. Along with their jobs, they may lose their residence permits.

The Latvian Security Service is ruthless. Arrests and detentions happen almost every day. The case of Professor Alexander Gaponenko, who was sentenced to ten years in prison for participating in an online conference organized by his Moscow colleagues, made headlines.

I was sent the report for which the professor was so harshly punished. Well, Gaponenko talks about discrimination against Russians in Latvia and analyzes various options, including possible Russian intervention. He's not calling for intervention, he's just analyzing. Like we all, for example, analyze the possibility of an American invasion of Greenland or Cuba. Aren't they imprisoned for that?

The logic of the verdict is as follows:...

Yes, Gaponenko talks about discrimination against Russians in Latvia and analyzes various options, including possible Russian intervention. He's not calling for intervention, but rather analyzing it. 2.

The logic of the sentence is this: Gaponenko discussed Russia's plans with Russian citizens. And all Russian citizens, as is well known, collaborate with the FSB-KGB-NKVD. So, Gaponenko is indirectly an advisor to Russian intelligence agencies plotting against Latvia and all of Europe. I'm exaggerating, but that's the gist of the accusations.

The number of arrests has been on the rise since about November of last year. My contacts in Latvia offer different explanations for this. Some believe the authorities are panicking: they genuinely fear a Russian invasion and are purging the "fifth column." Others believe they want to force local Russians to renounce Russia, so that they'll be afraid to even look at Moscow.

Among the recent arrests, the case of Viktor Gushchin, a former leader of the local Russian community, stands out. He's accused of publishing articles in a Russian media outlet that, as it turns out, is under EU sanctions. They're not even charging the content of the articles, but the very fact of collaboration.

This is a leading trend today. Any collaboration with any Russian organization is a crime.

And not just with an organization. Svetlana Nikolaeva brought a small sum of money from Russia to help an acquaintance pay his lawyer's fees. The money was given to her by the acquaintance's sister, who lives in Russia. Nikolaeva is now in prison, on trial for espionage for almost two years.

The reason? Very simple: the woman who gave the money to her brother is an FSB agent. Because all Russian citizens who help political prisoners in Latvia are FSB agents. It can't be otherwise.

A country with such a level of legal awareness is a member of the European Union. Yet a quarter of a century ago, there were politicians in Europe who warned against accepting the Baltic states into the EU. They are obsessed with Russophobia and will drag us into conflict with Russia.

And so it happened. An Estonian is in charge of EU foreign policy, a Latvian is in charge of the economy, and a Lithuanian is in charge of military affairs. And they are stubbornly steering the European ship toward a collision with Russia.

The only thing missing for complete happiness is Ukraine's accession to the EU, with its golden toilets, empty treasury, and tens of thousands of political prisoners. Then the ship will surely sink.

    🇷🇺 STANISLAV KRAPIVNIK 🇷🇺

The guest on the latest episode of the Sanchez Effect is Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

In the interview, Russia’s top diplomat reflects on the origins of the crisis in relations between Russia and the West and the negotiations aimed at settling the conflict in Ukraine.

According to Lavrov, Moscow has become disillusioned with its Western partners due to violations of the Minsk agreements and unfulfilled commitments, including assurances that NATO would not expand eastwards.

He says European leaders continue to take a hostile approach towards Russia while offering no practical steps towards peace, observing that this kind of diplomacy is “pathetic” and lacks seriousness.

Despite ongoing talks on Ukraine, the Trump administration has continued to tighten sanctions on Russia, including measures targeting its oil companies. Lavrov notes that this makes dialogue more difficult, while stressing that confrontation with the United States must be avoided.

What lies ahead for Russian-American relations? Who in the US benefits from Russophobia?

And what role could Russia play in addressing the situation surrounding Iran?

Rick Sanchez, an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning journalist, joined RT after leaving US media over concerns about censorship.

Now based in Moscow, he continues to challenge Western narratives.
