The more I watch Lei, the more she earns my respect for her analytical ability to think in geopolitical terms. She's just a great common sense thinker and she understands both the world global political arena in general, as well as the Chinese culture. She just gets better and better.

In this recent live talk she discusses the repercussions of the Epic Fury Iran operation within the Chinese political context. Very insightful.

The best thinkers on this topic are talking about it within the larger context of the GCC, Venezuela, Cartels, Ukraine, Russia, Muslim Brotherhood, the Al-Qaeda, Hamza Bin Laden, led Islam Army, terrorists in partnership with cartels, as proxies to Iran, which is a proxy of China. Lei doesn't go into these other aspects, but she adds solid "big picture" thinking that compliments the overall thinking process.

Of special note is how there is a sort of shift in thinking among the Chinese people regarding the Republic of China (ROC), aka Taiwan. It's an interesting development. And one that likely makes the CCP very uneasy.

In addition to her analysis of how Epic Fury in Iran is likely to affect what's happening in China she brings up a couple of other points I want to highlight.

She mentioned the Chinese elderly who died this winter because they couldn't afford gas, after the ban on coal and wood-burning.

And, a bit concerning, how China is trying to export it's organ-harvesting operations into Canada.

I think her insights into the how authoritarian powers think is useful to keep in mind, when thinking about China, Epic Fury in Iran, and the overall geo-political landscape.
