We understand the immense challenges that the Cuban people have faced over the years. We are now witnessing a particular period marked by new sanctions.

❗️ We reject such measures outright

    Translated from Spanish
As part of my visit to Moscow, in my capacity as Special Envoy of the Party and the Government, I was received by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of #Russia and Chairman of the United Russia Party.

I conveyed #Cuba's willingness to continue strengthening ties between both parties and governments.

We discussed the current international situation, characterized by the growing aggressiveness and threats from the United States to Peace, Security and International Law, in particular its escalation against Cuba, stemming from the fuel blockade decreed through an executive order of the U.S. government.

Putin held an emergency meeting with members of the country's Security Council:

"The situation unfolding around Iran was discussed"

The exact same situation is developing around Russia. Do you still hope to reach an agreement with the US? Well, Iran was also hoping for a deal with the US. However, the US attacked Iran right during the negotiations.

    Brian McDonald

Putin has just floated the possibility of ending Russian gas supplies to the European Union immediately, rather than waiting until 2027 when Brussels plans to fully phase out Russian gas:

PUTIN (my translation): "As for gas, the surge in prices on the European market isn’t even directly connected to any restrictions on supplies right now. The main suppliers haven’t reduced their volumes. Who are the main suppliers today? Algeria, the United States, Norway and Russia to some extent. None of them has cut deliveries to the EU.

"But prices have already jumped to around $700. Why? Because of the overall situation on global markets, including oil markets, and in this case the gas market as well. It’s the general global situation. There are now buyers willing to pay more for natural gas, particularly because of what’s happening in the Middle East, disruptions to shipping routes, and so on.

"When premium buyers appear who are ready to pay higher prices, then some traditional suppliers to the EU market, I’m sure of it, including American companies, will naturally go where they can earn more. That’s completely normal. There’s nothing political about it. It’s just business. So, once again, this is the result of mistakes made by the EU authorities over many years.

"That brings me to something I’ve been thinking about. As was mentioned earlier, they’re [the EU] planning to introduce new restrictions on Russian gas supplies in about a month. The deadline is the 24th, and from the 25th new limits will come into force. And then in 2027 they plan even further restrictions, up to a complete ban. At the same time, other markets are opening up. So maybe it would make more sense for us to stop supplying gas to the EU ourselves and move to those new markets, and establish ourselves there.

"Again, I want to stress: there’s no political motive here. But if they’re going to close the market to us in a month or two anyway, maybe it’s better to leave now and focus on countries that are reliable partners. That said, this isn’t a decision. I’m just thinking out loud. I’ll ask the government to look into it together with our companies."

I admire Putin immensely, he has brought Russia forth from the uncertainty of the collapse of the USSR, he is a unique man with a genuine vision for his beloved country. Putin must now be under so much pressure to kinetically finish off the Azov/Zelensky regime, I hope Russia does in fact overcome their natural civilized inclinations, tabling protests & describing the NATO/Ukraine actions as "Terrorist" is no longer sufficient, it seems Putin is too content to virtue signal the Russian position, this is a Kinetic struggle, now is the time to take out Bankhova St - metaphorically & actually, in my opinion: does anyone else feel this impatience with Putin?

I'm not feeling the impatience here, to be honest, although one could be pretty certain that it is there in the Russian Security Council meetings.

The patient approach here may perhaps lead to Ukraine imploding in on itself, eventually. I still harbour a wish that captured Ukrainians fit enough to fight would join with their Russian brethren and march together on Kiev, and liberate it, perhaps even with the assistance of Belarussians, and restore a much re-constituted Ukraine into the historically tripartite status which flourished between the three states before. In the meantime the gradual attrition of what remains of Ukraine's forces will I expect continue for many months with the eventual liberation of Odessa.

Putin, who has a law degree, is also conducting the SMO in line with the principles of (a) 'Just War' ethic and principles.

I searched the net and found this helpful outline on what defines a 'just war':
The following criteria frequently appear in comprehensive just-war theories: legitimate or competent authority, just cause, right intention, announcement of intention, last resort, reasonable hope of success, pro- portionality, and just conduct.
    .

Tempting as it really must be to stamp out the Zionist (yes, Zionist) Nazi infestation on Bankhova Street and its (illegally) incumbent Gollum, in a hail of Oreshniks, the patient approach will I expect continue, although the Chechen commander Apti Alaudinov has recently voiced some frustration with which I do have some sympathy.
“If a man does not keep pace with [fall into line with] his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.” - Thoreau

    International Women’s Day:

    https://t.me/DDGeopolitics/176307
President Vladimir Putin congratulated Russian women on International Women’s Day (March 8, 2026)

On March 7, Russia's President held a meeting at the Kremlin with women serving the Motherland on the front lines and beyond – military personnel, doctors, war correspondents, artists & professionals from across the country.

Vladimir Putin: We always celebrate this holiday with the warmest and most heartfelt feelings.

We admire our wonderful women and express our love, appreciation and gratitude from the bottom of our hearts.

Women make the world better and kinder with their generosity, compassion and genuine female wisdom. A mother’s love remains in every person’s heart for a lifetime – it warms us, multiplies our joyful emotions and gives us strength in the most difficult moments.

There are no heights beyond the reach of our women. You achieve remarkable success in many different professions. And when circumstances demand it – you demonstrate exceptional resilience, determination and strong leadership.

You never hesitate to help those who need your assistance, surrounding your families and loved ones with care and attention and dedicating yourselves to educating children.

Of course, managing to strike us with your beauty and charm while doing hard work, showing commitment and stamina is a formidable task, but you have succeeded in it.

It is essential that we recognise and understand this. As for us, we reaffirm our commitment to create all the necessary conditions, both at the state level and, no doubt, in our families to enable women to strike a balance between motherhood and professional excellence, empowering them to fulfil their potential so that they do not have to wait too long before they can experience the joy of having a family, becoming a spouse and a mother.

On a special note, I would like to congratulate women who are performing their duties in the special military operation zone and are facing extreme hardship while working in Donbass and Novorossiya and in our border regions. Wherever you find yourselves, you have been demonstrating valour and courage, selflessness and strength of spirit. You have my sincere and heartfelt gratitude for that.

    Dear women,

The sky is the limit for you. You are sources of creation and development, and you combine resilience with tenderness. Your commitment to create a better future for your children inspires all of us to keep moving forward.

I wish you happiness with those dear to you, success in everything that matters to you, and sound health and well-being to you and your loved ones.

Happy holiday! Happy International Women’s Day!

Although I lack detailed knowledge regarding the dynamics of Russian Political Power and the cliques behind the curtain, my sense is that Putin is safe in his position, as he has achieved so much, however the fly in the ointment is the resilience of the Ukrainians who are exhibiting the (Russian) characteristics of extreme doggedness and Toughness. (and having some success with Drone warfare)

There is a school of thought within the Russian Elite that favours a tougher stance towards the west. They believe that trying to progress peace via Trump is futile, and hardball is needed in Ukraine. Some think war with Europe is needed and the Dugin type of thinkers believe that Russia is the standard bearer for a battle between the good - God's people, and the Evil - epsteins Satanists.

Therefore Putin cannot be too comfortable in his seat until tangible progress happens in Ukraine.

The hawks in Russia and China need to realise that we are now looking at the latter stages of the collapse of western hegemony, with all the chaos and insanity that usually happens. As Sun Tzu said ' never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake'

So don't risk conflict with the west as its busily self-destructing now. That is in the nature of evil, it ends up devouring itself.
we have subcontracted the business of healing people to Companies who profit from sickness.
