"That brings me to something I’ve been thinking about. As was mentioned earlier, they’re [the EU] planning to introduce new restrictions on Russian gas supplies in about a month. ⚡️ Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Government to study and scale up the experience of the Kursk region in assessing housing damage using unmanned systems.

What's the point?

🪖 Due to active hostilities in peaceful territories, residents have a problem: how to get a certificate for destroyed housing if the commission physically cannot enter the settlement - it's dangerous?

🇷🇺 A solution was found. Back in February last year, when our soldiers were pushing the enemy to the border, we began applying aerial photography with drones of the Ministry of Defense and the "BARS-Kursk" brigade - this decision was developed at the initiative of the residents themselves at meetings of the Coordination Council on border issues. Using video from drones, experts in assessing housing damage remotely assessed the damage. Thus, it was possible to record the destruction in 34 settlements: thanks to aerial photography, 438 houses were inspected, of which 340 were recognized as destroyed. This allowed to already issue 170 housing certificates to citizens without waiting for the military's permission to enter the settlement. The process of issuing certificates continues.

This is not a "stopgap", not a temporary measure: it's a modern technology and a real practice that saves time and, most importantly, saves lives.

🌆 Now the Kursk approach will be applied more widely: in the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Belgorod and Bryansk regions. People should not wait for months until "the situation calms down". They have the right to receive state support without unnecessary bureaucratic delays.
