I've had lifelong electrical issues...weird occurrences. But one of them that outshines all the others in memory was brought to mind vividly when I heard the video below. That particular experience made neighbors come running and spurred a number of 911 calls due to their aural recognition and interpretation.

After considering Charlie potentially being electrocuted, and pausing to look at additional photos of Lichtenberg burns (which can present as dark purple bruises- not just red burst patterns) I went back to learn the timeframe of Charlie being shot and found this CBS report, which I only got 44 seconds into: video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjYfsl2aArE   

The auditory crack sound (if it was the actual audio from his event) reminded me very much of that electrical interference which culminated with blue ball lightning in Santa Fe, NM 1996, detailed somewhere on Avalon long ago.

The sound that rang out then, which everyone in the vicinity heard, was very nearly identical to this supposed "gunshot" noise near Charlie Kirk. Strikingly, hauntingly like this.


It feels worth noting that rapid, high voltage electrical discharge can sound like a piercing gunshot because of the explosive expansion of heated air, at supersonic speeds, such that it creates intense percussive pressure release which propagates sound outward.

Successful tests have apparently been performed using lasers to guide (untethered) discharge of lightning from drones, which could present not unlike a massively charged and pinpointed railgun to a target.

Though there is nothing visible in the public realm about whether they have accomplished storing such massive charges of energy for rapid, targeted weapons deployment, there are numerous articles describing efforts to do so that span decades. The idea would be that presence of a nearby storm should no longer be necessary to redirect such energy from a drone or vehicle sized device. Lightning carries an impact of ​ 1–10 Gigajoules which is more than the most powerful known military lasers.

However, lasers have been reliably used to guide the impact point of lightning.

The only record of a lightning strike or significant electrical discharge environmentally beyond burns and electronic interruption/destruction, is fulgurite formation in the soil where the energy grounds.

One could speculate that if an electrical discharge event occurred (or was suspected) on the UVU grounds where Charlie was speaking, investigation would include careful examination of the soil beneath where he was sitting for fulgurites.

Unfortunately, it appears that UVU tore up the ground beneath his stage and bricked over it within a week(?) of Charlie's murder.

I think there might be a matter here of not knowing which technology and capabilities we actually possess.

The endeavors and studies that mentioned effective storage, harvesting and conversion of lightning to refine an applied discharge while using drones and other mechanisms to redirect it, were usually framed in terms of Counter-UAS, but realistically this could be repurposed for any political or DoD interest.

Even though Japan gets most of the recognition for research utilizing drones to redirect concentrated tethered energy, US based tests for expansion of this technology in an untethered state appear to have been conducted at Whitesands, Kirtland, UNM, Yuma Proving Ground, Makani, Ft. Sill and Dugway Proving Ground in Utah, as well as at military FOBs involving Tawazun(UAE), Raytheon, Elistair, Blue Halo, and Zenith Aerotech among others (tethered to non-tethered applications.)

Max Blumenthal has accused Turning Point USA of deceptively presenting the slain conservative activist as a supporter of regime change

Journalist Max Blumenthal has accused conservative group Turning Point USA (TPUSA) of misrepresenting the stance of its late co-founder Charlie Kirk in order to defend the US-Israeli war on Iran.

Kirk, a popular podcaster, was killed by a sniper last September while speaking at a college in Utah. His widow, Erika Kirk, has since taken over the leadership of TPUSA.

On Monday, two days after the US began conducting airstrikes in Iran, TPUSA posted a video on X of Kirk praising the Westernization of Iran that continued until the shah was overthrown in the 1979 Islamic Revolution. “If you are serious about actually protecting human rights, you should want to make Iran Western again,” Kirk says in the clip.

The post, however, received a community note saying that the clip predates Kirk’s statement from June 2025, in which he called regime change in Iran “pathologically insane.”

“TPUSA got community noted for deliberately misrepresenting Charlie Kirk’s vehement opposition to a US war on Iran,” Blumenthal, founder and editor-in-chief of The Grayzone, wrote in response to the note.

Although Kirk supported US President Donald Trump’s decision to strike Iran’s nuclear sites in June 2025, he warned hawkish Republicans that an intervention to topple the Iranian government would likely lead to “unintended and unforeseen consequences.”

“How do you know it’s going to be better? Yeah, the ayatollah is awful but maybe he’s one of the few guys that can keep that country together and not have a 90-million-person civil war,” Kirk said on his podcast last year, adding that the downfall of the government could trigger sectarian violence and a wave of refugees into Europe.

Trump has publicly backed the protests and riots that began in Iran in December and urged Iranians opposing the government to use the ongoing airstrikes as an opportunity to seize power.
