Drone School

I found this fascinating, a report about Russian Drone Schools described in detail in the first half of this new video.

War reporter João Quaresma tells The Duran about his visit to a Drone School in the Caucasus. Any citizen can enroll for free. After the month-long course is completed, the students have a choice whether to enter the Russian military. If they do, the course remains free of charge, but if they choose not to they pay a small fee in retrospect.

Most of the students are young‚ and (interestingly!) most of them are young women. They study aerodynamics, maintenance, construction (using 3D printers), tactics, and of course undergo challenging control training steering the drones through complex obstacle courses. The account of the whole process was most intriguing.
