🇨🇳Chinese scientists have successfully tested a non-nuclear hydrogen bomb amid the People's Liberation Army's (PLAs) push towards cleaner energy solutions. The move comes amid the US' increasing defence support to Taiwan, and China's quest for dominance in the South China Sea.

According to a report in South China Morning Post, the explosive device, weighing 2 kilograms, was developed by the China State Shipbuilding Corporation’s (CSSC) 705 Research Institute, which is known for its work in underwater weapon systems. Unlike traditional nuclear bombs, this device uses a magnesium-based solid-state hydrogen storage material known as magnesium hydride, which is capable of storing more hydrogen than pressurised tanks

The bomb doesn’t just deliver a single blast. Instead, it unleashes a roaring fireball that remains scorching hot for several seconds, allowing it to cover a wide terrain. This sustained heat makes it ideal for sweeping away dispersed enemy forces across an open field, while its energy can also be concentrated on a single, high-value point.

I have always believed that the weapons that we have been told about should never worry us as much as the weapons that we have not been told about. I often wonder if/when the world will start putting all the financial and human resources to use solving humanitarian problems instead of building new deadly weapons. Russia at War, America is at war, and apparently, China is preparing for war. It is a hell of a world we are living in.

Once again, I feel the same way about this video that I mentioned in this post. I suppose DDGeopolitics amplifying war porn is good business. It is horrifying to see such destructive technology glorified in a way that is extremely appealing to children. It is becoming clearer that the road to peace (if it is to be achieved) will be through great suffering.

It's becoming more clear, I hope, for more people, that the "nuclear weapons" so many countries bragged about, were nothing but psy-ops. If we had them, we would have consistently used them.

Same goes for nuclear power (new clear power) plants. Big steam engines.
