I think you are pretty well right though, within the bounds of 'do nothing-get what they give you' world energetics.

Us deplorables had better pull our fingers out then. It's all up to us and the strength of our faith to change the environment those power grabbers are operating in so much that non of them get what their egos and intellects are going for. They, for a change, will get what they are given.

It's really not all that hard to do, but it's hard to inform enough people how easy it is.

This has always been a mind war.
Who said 'do nothing-get what they give you' ?

We can speculate, anticipate, experience, then recall, what goes on at that level, while choosing how to live and understand our own lives.

(Which is not to say I have zero influence at such power levels of our civilization ... which is a key reason I do what I can to empower this very web site, and before that to encourage my employers, computer hardware/software manufacturers, to invest in Open Source Software.)

This is just like the passing of the seasons, or Ben Davidson's 6,000 and 12,000 year cycles of solar system energy cycles and earth crust changes. Whatever will be at that layer of reality I don't fancy that I can change much, rather I do fancy that by understanding such layers, I can better adapt and better realize my own powers and support those around me. The breadth and depth of control that I have over my own life still exceeds my imagination.

The power we wield over own existence, within and about us, increases the more we understand the world we live in.

This will likely trigger an escalation of the war between Russia and NATO if it happens.
Best in that case that such escalations be between Russia and the EU/UK, with the US stepping out of its 70 year role as the "Muscle" of NATO. Trump's observations that the EU/UK weren't willing in some cases to even passively allow their airspace to be used in the current Middle East conflicts may well further lay the basis for the disintegration of NATO ... good riddance.

    Is Trump:
    • Destroying opposition to the globalists and building for the globalists, or
    • Destroying the corrupt governments/corporations/ngo's that extend globalist power?

Trump is a MAGA imperialist. He supports globalism if it benefits Americans, but in the modern world the US can no longer dominate through global institutions nor technological advancement nor by offering aid in return for supporting US hegemony. This is not a battle against evil globalists, but an all-out war to maintain American hegemony, increasingly through violence (although violence was always the the threat behind the smile).

This is not a noble war against globalists. There is nothing noble about killing about 260 little children in Iran in a deliberate double tap strike, nor supporting the genocide in and destruction of Gaza, nor attacking small boats at sea and hijacking cargo vessels, nor kidnapping a president and his wife and putting on a mock trial in the US, etc.

Of course MAGA wants one world government ... the USA. And, yes other countries, including China, Russia and my own protect sovereignty AND participate in a global world. Trump's MAGA attacks other countries who do try to protect their sovereignty. But Trump and MAGA supporters are convinced that he is on some global crusade against a globalist agenda and will not be persuaded by evidence, truth or argument, nor consider the basic rights of others. It was not globalists who killed all those children in Iran, it was American bombs. It was not globalists who de-industrialized the US, but capitalists looking to increase profits above all else.

The following is a very long article examining Trump's MAGA imperialism. I am sure there are many more.

So, Paul, we are on opposite sides on this issue and let us leave it there. Here is the article, long, but a decent description of MAGA imperialism (from June 2025 but still relevant if not more so) ...

Yup - two sides. You present one side clearly enough, and many of my relevant posts over the last decade have been more on the other side.

At the moment, as I type this, I suspect the aggravation of such divisions of humanity along various lines (race, culture, gender, religion, political, economic, territorial, tribal, generational, ...) are like the heating, blending, grinding, fermenting, leeching, ... of the ingredients in a prepared food product. Wheat grain going though such a process would be hard pressed to imagine or anticipate the result, a human enjoying a good loaf of bread (or of an industrially processed, more toxic, more profitable, facsimile of such.)

United we shall stand; divided we shall be shaped. It's a challenge to identify the axes along which, if united, we could better stand against the forces that would enslave and harvest us. Those forces strive to make this challenge as difficult as they can, especially when going through the periods of greatest change, thus to keep us divided, that we might not stand against them, or even agree on who "they" are.
