"Veteran of UFO Disclosure, Nick Pope" has announced that he has been diagnosed with late-stage cancer and does not expect to survive the illness. “I’m afraid my diagnosis and my situation leaves no doubt whatsoever: I can’t beat it.”

“Unfortunately, it’s Stage 4 and has metastasized to my liver,” Pope said of his esophageal cancer, a terminal diagnosis that followed an examination into digestive issues that he was experiencing.

“While I know that it’s kindness and hope that leads people to suggest healers and supposed miracle cures, and to say things like “fight it”, and “you can beat it”, I’m afraid my diagnosis and my situation leaves no doubt whatsoever: I can’t beat it.”

Before he became known as a preeminent UFO investigator, Pope had a 21-year career with the UK Ministry of Defence, where he was “involved in subjects ranging from financial policy to counter-terrorism; from military policing to UAP,” according to Pope.

It was Pope’s three-year stint investigating UFOs for the MoD’s UFO desk with Secretariat (Air Staff) 2 from 1991 to 1994 that led to a career investigating the phenomenon after he left the government; in that time he became “a regular commentator on TV news shows and documentaries, as well as consulting and acting as spokesperson on various UFO and alien-themed movies, TV series and video games, ” adding that “the media called me the real Fox Mulder!”

“The things I’ve done; the places I’ve been; the people I’ve met; and the secrets I’ve been privy to,” Pope remarked regarding his work with the MoD, “I wouldn’t have swapped it for the world.”

But Pope described the “true highlight” of his life to be his “wonderful, beautiful and incredibly smart wife,” “a real-life Agent Scully” to his Fox Mulder, “a scientist, a skeptic and a redhead.”

“To everyone who’s followed me on my journey, thank you – and good luck with your own journeys. I wish you every success and happiness.

“It’s all been amazing, and I’m grateful for the things I’ve done, not mournful for the things that I won’t now get to do.

Sad news. I really liked Nick Pope. He brought seriousness, balance, and credibility to a subject that desperately needed all three. In a world full of noise, he was one of the few who stayed measured and real. My condolences to his wife Elizabeth and all who loved him. Rest in peace, Nick.

Received this old photo from a friend, left to right is Roy Lake, Dan then myself. I'm guessing this is from the 90s. Roy unfortunately passed away last Christmas, I've known him since 1974 when I joined his then Ufo group EUFOSG (Essex Ufo Study Group), continued onwards and eventually became an investigator for his then group LUFOS (London Ufo Studies). I guess Roy must have been around 82-85 when he passed, a lifelong Ufologist.

You will notice the two bottom books, the big ones are Jerome Clarke UFO ENCYCLOPEDIA, vol 1 and 2. These beauties cost 60 GBP each, hows that for dedication to Ufology LOL. In the archives are virtually everything on Roswell and Rendlesham, two very important cases, both have secrets yet to be uncovered and both have a sting in the tail.

Hi Barry. Wow, that stack of intruiging titles!

The one “World War II From Above” catches my eye. My dad flew for Ferry Command, Mitchells across the north and south ocean, then later flew Sabres out of France and then England. And one of mom’s brothers flew bombers in the ETO.

I’ve heard of “foo fighters”. Dad never much spoke about any of his service, and I sometimes wonder what he knew of stuff like that.

The stigma must have been in full swing, even as far back as that, and the military culture was don’t be talking about anything.

A vid from Miles which I had not seen before. I trained Lisa to be a LUFOS investigator in 1994 and I also reviewed her book, as shown by Miles, in 1994 for LUFOS. I spoke with Lisa over a length of time via email a few years back, sharing info and data, we spoke about Miles wanting to do a 20 year update of Bases One, I told her I was not really interested but she gave way and did the update, I believe with Christine Hart on her radio show. If I can locate that vid I'll place it here.

Well blow me down with a feather LOL, just finished watching on Amazon Prime one of their docs, this one is called Asymmetric disclosure. I had to replay it a couple of times near the end as I could not believe my eyes and ears. Steven Greer talking on camera with one of the Cousin brothers about false flag, man made ufos and then onto manufactured beings. At 1hr 36mins Greer mentions ..........A guy in United Kingdom described these beings, Peasemore.......(as already known i passed my full disclosures to Greer when he was at Glastonbury in the summer of 2000, these documents were delivered to him by special courier] I have been thrown under the bus by Greer ever since because my data could not be verified (as if the NSA is going to acknowledge a facility here in UK dealing in black budget topics). And at last he mentions it on camera in this 2024 doco.

Give it a watch guys it is interesting.

Greer mentions 672 whistleblowers on his team, no one has seen or heard from over 500 of these supposed people, am I one of those within the quiet 500+?

Just a few words guys. Some of you might assume sour grapes but I am far from that. I am very happy for both Andy Collins and Graham Phillips as they continue to publish books and carry investigations and research into their respective fields. In 1978 thru 1979 we were the 3 amigos, roaming UK on case investigations and field trips galore, we were the team. Both Andy and I became so high profile 1977 thru to 1979 that we were dubbed, laughingly I must admit, the Starsky and Hutch of ufology.

During the summer of 1978 Graham Andy and I, on one particular Saturday, perform a specific ritual in Epping Forest. This was allegedly put into Grahams mind by the order of a specific occult society (remain nameless at this point) to actually perform this specific ritual that very day. Graham was at Andys place and phoned me to drive over for a very important issue. Graham was given precise information, that we had to make up a special brew to drink at the ritual. We concocted this smelly brew in Andys mums kitchen LOL.

We were to purchase specific items for the ritual from a place in London, I drove us to that location but after realising the costs of these items was way beyond anything we had between us. Graham was ;told' in his mind to go to a bookies and place bets on certain horses in order to accumalate the funds needed. So I drove us around to a certain bookies and walked in, the 3 of us, bold as brass, never put bets on in our lives LOL.

The weird things is every bet we put on a horse actually won, time after time, after several such wins we were getting some odd looks by the bookies, lucky for us we had enough funds so hurried away from the bookies. We got back to that shop and bought all the items we needed. Graham directed me to drive to Epping, its as if he knew exactly where to go as I parked up in a sort of layby at the edge of the forest. It was still light as we gathered materials for the fire in the circle we made, and waited till nightfall.

There we were drinking the brew and running around the fire chanting certain words Graham told us to chant, we must have looked a right crazy sight LOL. Anyways at the end, at daybreak, Graham seemed happy and satisfied that the ritual was a complete success so I drove both Andy and Graham, asleep in the back of my car all the way to Wickford and dropped them both off, driving home half asleep myself.

Graham never told us, never stated what the ritual was for, its meaning or its possible outcome but after days it was nagging in my mind, my guardian Sem-Ra (for another time details) kept insisting that I should reverse whatever was instilled in me at the ritual, she was adamant, so telling Andy I had to drive back to Epping a reverse the thing. He watched on from a distance whilst I cleansed myself from the ritual. Driving home I ignored Andys questions just telling him all was OK now.

It was not till many years later that I was informed exactly what the riual was and its intended purpose. James Casbolt years ago posted on a forum about this incident but he was wrong when he stated it was done so the 3 of us, Andy Graham and I would become Watchers. Obviously James did not know my full background and full life details. Anyway it actually was a ritual to make us fame and fortune as our lives progressed. A ritual of success in life as it were.

Yes I cancelled out my part in that but true to its intention both Andy and Graham have become famous in their fields, both published many books, appeared on Ancient Aliens etc etc etc. Good luck is wished to both of my fellow amigos in their endeavours. They went their way and I went mine, even though I had no choice in the direction life took me. I'm pleased to see how well both have done when I see them on Facebook. I'm rather glad in a way my past was kept much more hidden and quiet, as much as I was allowed of course, the rest is as they say, history.

Of course it is debateable whether the past, the history, my life, has been one of positive and negative experiences in maybe equal measure. Whether the Barry King whom died at age 2 and miraculously came back is the real meant to be Barry King, or was the original whom died would have taken a different life course if the death did not occur. I have pondered that thousands of times.

Moving on. Something kept niggling at my brain regarding that statement by Greer in the above clip, something does not make a whole lot of sense. Just the idea of him suddenly stating what he did after 25 years of silence and denial seems a little odd. From his statements in his various talks etc he himself stated that he knows where the PLFs are made and even gave a few locations (including DULCE LOL). In his talk at the 2009 Barcelona he mentioned 3 things that were very important, the most important being PLFs. It was that particular subject that he stated gave him the most threats aimed at him. Time and time again he mentioned his team had this data, HIS TEAM.

I was so perplexed by his statement in that clip that I asked a friend whom studies facial and body language. Interesting what he told me after viewing the clip a number of times as opposed to other portions of that doco. According to my friend the facial expressions when he stated ......a man from the United Kingdom.......my friend was very intrigued about the facial expression of Greer as if he was very reluctant to state what he did yet at the same time directly stating what he did giving the impression he(Greer) had no other knowledge of PLFs and was distancing himself from that topic. As if he had no other knowledge, curious.

I know I have been different person till about age of 5 and different person from some point onwards but I don't remember how or when exactly it happened.
The "serious -maybe too sirius" person who took over in me, had to take care of parents problems too and life in general.
My new smart self was not "dependent" on them. It always dreamt of "way out" and living in another world. It took me through preries and jungles of books and thrill of laboratories pursuing path of discovery. It got me trapped in the most complicated questions about dimensional equations as teenager and eventually, dragged me off to holy India to find true answers to self.

It longed to "be useful to humans" in every possible manner but it could never understand its failure in doing so and the need for human niceties.

It claims to be "friend of all living beings" .

The only problem comes up when some "kind humans" try to convince me that what or who they would prefer instead is the "other person" and try to "bring back" ,
committing a crime on the entities witts and emotions ,
it's when all "they need" is the happy homely drone . Homer in short , there's nothing shorter than.
