[OMTALKS] Penetrating the Out of Body Experience
    Self Inquiry to Self Discovery

The concept in this new series is a discussion-form tutorial which will peer into the tendency in which spiritual self development leads and paves the way into consciousness states such as the OBE -which we aim here to break open and begin to unveil component by component. From "The Benefits of Long Term Practice", "Getting Beyond Fight-Flight", "The Role of the CNS in the OBE" to "The Veil and Its Purpose", "Awakening Dormant DNA" , everything in between and much more, it will all be gone into in this (potentially 24 part) series. My sound boarding partner in this series, for as long as we are fortunate enough to have her, is Delia Blecka.

If anyone has questions relative to the focus of this series, please do ask them, either here or in the comments area of past-or-future uploads and I will aim to work them in where they best fit. We are beginning, I feel quite aptly with:

"The Benefits of Long Term Practice."

OBEs. You're definitely in the right place to learn about those. Avalon has a treasure trove of leads and first hand experiencers. I think one good question to keep in mind while studying OBEs is, after people have learned to unlock and explore them, what have OBEs then helped to unlock and explore after that?

    Episode 2: Getting Past Fear / Fight-Flight

At the base of the human central nervous system is a "fight-flight" mechanism, it is the first thing we meet in the OBE. It is the part of the nervous system ( the sympathetic system ) that many in our contemporary times live near to their entire lives from; the basic experience of this FEAR. It is the largest roadblock we experience as humans and it is the focus of our talk today.

    Hello, Joe

Yes!, I am one of those first-hand experiencers. I have logged into the thousands of experiences. Are you an OBEr? I suppose it could be said that I study-and-explore CONSCIOUSNESS (not just specifically the out of body state), so what gets unlocked are deeper levels and previously hidden avenues into my own being. Far more gets unlocked unwell, such as dormant capacities ( example ) and sense capabilities. What has been your experience with the phenomenon?

Thank you for your videos Casey. I have seen most of the first video and hope to finish that one and the second video posted above before too long. I really enjoy them and the expanded thoughts that come out of each one. Your presentations, and the work on editing are very good and come across to viewers in a relaxed natural way.

Delia Blecka is very forthcoming with her experiences and your teaching abilities and questions illustrate your personal understanding of expanded consciousness from you own observations. The inside/outside world around us, exploration and "remembering" seems just another natural unveiling, like a cell that is within the body environment which is within another environment and that just keeps going on and on in an expanded view, much like revelations from explorers of the past mapping the relationships of their surroundings

    Thank you, Harmony

The feedback from you and others continues to be very important to me, I genuinely appreciate you making time not only to listen in on the talks but also comment.

Just to say, my care client passed away 3 weeks ago now, and while I am not working I am doing a detox of my system, I've been in the first leg of the proverbial "thick of it" the past few days so, please, forgive the long pause before replying here. The head pain and nausea has been quite extreme. It is lightening up now as my body adjusts, but there will be more w a v e s before it is done.

[OMTALKS] This particular series of casual but critical talks will all be relative to clearing oneself mind, energy and body for expanded states of consciousness such as the OBE and although informal, unformatted and unrehearsed it is my hope that what is said during the course of the talks will be helpful in some way to those listening, who are themselves ready to begin further explorations.

The next talk is being recorded today, just a few hours from now..

Mastering the Basics, which will go further into surrender -- surrendering the body to the breath -and (later) the breath to mind, a state the yogis call "pratyahara" ( deep relation, equanimity, peace ) and the association of this in more contemporary OBE terms as the MABA state, the mind awake body asleep state. I am looking forward to the talk.

    [Talk 3] MASTERING THE BASICS

In practice, prior to reaching a true meditative state there is what the yogis call “pratyahara” (it is a state of deep relaxation and inner peace) — it is where the body, the breath and the mind approach union, and where our experience of these “fields” begin to reverse. When more normally we may seem a BODY, within which there is a breath and a mind—MIND now approaches the more fundamental, and within this is the energetic and bodily expression. This state (in the middle; pratyahara) is ground zero, the point that must be reached before we can go any further, such as into true meditation, the OBE itself and other more expanded states of consciousness. So how do we do this? Surrender,—through a process of surrendering the body to the breath, and the breath to mind, is the state of "pratyahara", or in OBE terms the "mind awake body asleep" state.

Dear Casey, I do hope you are feeling better now during your detox and no more head pain and nausea. It must be difficult when your patient is passing, with extra time and care needed to make it as easy as possible during transition. May you feel rested and peaceful

I am enjoying the second video in your series now, so many interesting parts so far. Each person has their own special way of understanding they interconnect the inner Self with what we observe in relation to everything and how reality interconnects as one in the consciousness that responds. Sorry I don't really have words and labels .

I do appreciate all your effort and sharing along with your guests or when you are a guest as well. I can see the joy when shared moments are related with your guests as well as gems of information that roll out while you discuss experiences.
