"We will help Ukraine strike deep into Russia so that it ends the war," - US Secretary of State Marco Rubio (about Ukraine's strikes on oil refineries)...

And that's all you need to know about the "Spirit of Anchorage". To be honest, I never had any illusions about it myself.

Does not surprise me that USA helps Ukraine to destroy Russia energy sector. USA started this conflict to take over EU energy market from Russia and i would not be surprised if Trump starts to sell gasoline to Putin in near future.
    Will see.

New statements from Trump following the NATO summit:

▪️The U.S. may close the sky over Ukraine

▪️The U.S. plans to grant Ukraine a license to produce Patriot systems

▪️NATO countries commit to allocate €70 billion to Ukraine in 2026

▪️NATO countries commit to support Ukraine in 2027 at the same level as in 2026

But idiots like Phillips O'Brien keep telling us how the US stopped supporting Ukraine.

Russian human rights commissioner speaks on prisoner swap plans, return of Kursk civilians

International organizations have begun to acknowledge evidence of Kiev’s crimes against civilians, Yana Lantratova said

MOSCOW, July 8. /TASS/. Preparations are underway for further prisoner-of-war exchanges with Ukraine, Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova said.

She also told reporters that all civilians captured by Ukrainian troops in Russia’s borderline Kursk Region had been released.

TASS has compiled the key statements made by the Russian human rights commissioner.

    Preparations for further swaps

Preparations continue for further prisoner-of-war swaps, as work "does not stop for a single day," Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova said.

Efforts are also underway to step up the prisoner exchange process: "We don’t announce exchange dates in advance for a reason as we don’t want to disrupt the process because it involves human lives."

Communication with Ukrainian human rights commissioner

Communication with Ukrainian Human Rights Commissioner Dmitry Lubinets has been effective and fruitful: "As for communication with Dmitry Lubinets, it is rather effective and fruitful. Throughout the bureaucratic process, we maintain contact through phone and video calls, as well as in-person meetings. We share data on missing people, agree on mutual visits to prisoners of war, exchange parcels and letters for them, as well as documents."

Return of Kursk civilians from Ukrainian captivity

All civilians captured by Ukrainian troops in the Kursk Region have now been released from Ukrainian captivity. "There are no Kursk civilians left in Ukrainian captivity; we have brought everyone home."

However, some people remain missing following the Ukrainian army’s incursion into the Kursk Region, and efforts to find them are ongoing: "There still are some missing people that we keep searching for."

    Kiev’s crimes

International organizations have begun to acknowledge evidence of Kiev’s crimes against civilians: "It is worth noting that after a while, responses have started to come in confirming such facts."

Trump states that US-backed Ukrainian strikes in Russia is "an escalation—but it's also an escalation that can help lead to an end." But such strikes are much more likely to end peace settlement and not war & can lead Russia to escalate further in Ukraine & possibly beyond.
    https://x.com/RapidResponse47/status...695112/video/1

Rubio states the same: "I think that's one of the dynamics that's changed in this war over the last few months, and that is that the Russians are finding it more difficult to defend their own airspace—and what we hope that means is that's going to create the space now to negotiate the end of this war."

In response to all the latest and brightest ideas about intensifying strikes inside Russia, I would still like to offer a word of advice: Stop it!

If you want to get out of this terrible chain of escalation, you should stop, not intensify it. You will not succeed in destroying us. Only in destroying yourselves.

Stop claiming Ukraine is escalating this war. Ukraine isn't bringing the war to Moscow. Europe is.

Europe is bringing the war to Moscow, and very soon, Moscow will be forced to respond.

Once our angelic patience runs out, and we are left with no choice, we will be at war with you too — just as you have been at war with us for at least five years.

    Rick Sanchez

While Zelensky turns his back on grieving families by refusing to recover their sons' remains, Russia steps in with dedicated teams to retrieve Ukraine's fallen near Konstantinovka.

Zelensky may eventually relent, but only after the story fades from the headlines.

The longer this continues, the more it will damage his already declining popularity.

    Tune in to Sanchez Effect.

🇺🇦⚔️ 🇺🇸🇹🇷🇰🇿Ukraine attacked a tanker carrying Kazakh oil

A drone attacked the Turkish oil tanker "Yasa Polaris" in the Black Sea, which operates for Chevron. It was used to transport oil from Kazakhstan, loaded at the port of Novorossiysk. Now, Kazakhstan's oil exports have been hit. The authorities of the Central Asian republic have not yet commented on this matter.

This, from former Gollum advisor, Iuliia Mendel: who better, some may wonder, to help cut through the fog of war, and she's not the only one either:

    Source: https://x.com/IuliiaMendel/status/2074812511002427444
The claim of 30–35 thousand Russian soldiers killed every month in Ukraine is a fabricated figure pulled out of thin air. Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief recently stated that the current Russian offensive grouping on Ukrainian territory exceeds 721,000 personnel. At a rate of 30–35 thousand eliminated per month, it would take Ukraine only 10–11 months to completely wipe out this force. This is especially striking given President Zelenskyy’s own statements that Russia cannot recruit soldiers fast enough to replace those Ukraine eliminates. The losses are being counted by a few media -- see the numbers below.
For context, at the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, the Russian troop contingent numbered around 180,000.
You are being sold fairy tales to keep some profiting from this war. The lives of Ukrainians lost and the fate of my country apparently don’t matter for these people. As
@JDVance said: the "math does not add up" for Ukraine.

    ---------------------------------

My view, for what it's worth, is that that is probably a fairly accurate count, in as much as anyone can be certain. Compared to the estimated 'casualty' numbers for Ukraine (KIA, and MIA) ~2.4 million, judging from the near 4000+ pieces of film of battlefield action now stored in the library, I'd give some credence to this. The NATO proxy army has been taking a total hammering, really. The FAB/KAB glide-bomb destruction footage alone is testament to that.

That's a 1:10 Russia/Ukraine ratio (1 Russian killed or maimed versus 10 Ukrainian killed or maimed). Horrendous

The formidable (and very attractive) Polish MEP Ewa Zajączkowska-Hernik has been added to the Myrotvorets 'kill list': here's what she has to say about that :

    ***
I just found out that after my speech in the European Parliament, where I condemned the UPA genocidaires, I ended up on the Myrotvorets page—the list of "enemies of Ukraine" maintained by Ukrainian services.

It's very interesting that the Ukrainian side maintains a list of Polish patriots to be eliminated. If you end up there for denouncing the bestial murders of innocent Poles by Ukrainian UPA units, it shows what they're guided by and what "values" they're defending there. They're testifying against themselves. Why isn't the Polish MSZ reacting and standing up for Polish diplomats? Why is it tolerating these scoundrel methods of harassment and intimidation? This is an overt act of hostility toward Poland.

And such a state, the European Union wants to admit into its structures as quickly as possible? No way. For Ukraine, which carries the criminal ideology of Banderism and rampant corruption on its banners, there should never be a place in the Community.

If anyone there thinks that I'll be intimidated by stunts like this, congratulations on your optimism, and here's a message: I won't back down an inch in defending Poland's vital interests and the memory of the Volhynia genocide victims.

You can add that to the description on the page.

    ***

For those who haven't remembered this list is being operated in conjunction with the CIA, out of Langley.

    The speech (In Polish):

    ***

    More from Ewa, here:
    My message to President
    @ZelenskyyUa
on behalf of millions of Poles - there is no place for Ukraine in the EU that glorifies the murderers of Polish citizens❗🚫

In the European Parliament, I said and did what was necessary. These words had to resonate on the international stage, to reach as many people as possible. The Polish Nation, for the gigantic aid provided to Ukraine, received in return from their authorities a slap in the face in the form of naming a military unit after the "UPA heroes" and building a Bandera pantheon of heroes. This is cruelly shameful and worthy of condemnation!

The UPA flag that I tore is the flag of Ukrainian units that committed bestial murders of Polish citizens, including women and children. It symbolizes the hell prepared for our Compatriots, only because they were Poles. This is exactly how criminal ideologies should be treated - reject them completely, tear them up and throw them in the trash. That's where they belong.

Thank you for the countless words of support for my speech. I hear that I expressed the feelings of many of you... in that case, we feel the same. It is an honor to represent you 🫶 Together, let's take care of historical truth, the memory of the victims, and Poland's good name! 🇵🇱

    Down with anti-Polish, Bandera Nazism❗

An interesting report from Ukrainska Pravda provided by a Polish commentator (Thorkill) via X:

    Original source: https://t.co/krTJI7HWBL
Title: From Heaven to Earth. How Ukraine is Using and Wasting a Summer of Opportunity on the Front

    Published July 8th
    Author: Olga Kyrylenko
    ____________________________________
    Translated from Polish

"We feel no effect from the mid-strikes operations." The most interesting excerpts from the UP article on the current situation at the front.

Yesterday, a longer text appeared on the Ukrainian Pravda portal, in which war correspondent Olga Kirilenko tried, through interviews with Ukrainian soldiers, to figure out whether, as a result of the Ukrainian air campaign of mid-range strikes using drones, there has actually been a breakthrough at the front in favor of the Ukrainian forces, as many analysts and observers of this war write and say. Below are the most interesting excerpts from this text:

"To the question: 'Do you feel the impact of the mid-strikes operations on the front?', most of UP's interlocutors among commanders and servicemen of various levels—from the Konstantynivka, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Aleksandriya, and Pokrovsk directions—helplessly shrug their shoulders.

"No effect, absolutely none," a UP officer from the 19th Corps, operating in the Konstantynivka direction, tells UP.

"What mid-strikes? We're paratroopers; the only thing we can feel on our own skin is Russian 'Molniyas' and FPVs," a reconnaissance soldier from one of the DShV (Air Assault Troops) brigades, which is currently conducting offensive operations in the Aleksandriya direction, replies to UP."

    (...)
"Probably, a tangible effect from mid-strikes operations conducted by line units and SBS (Unmanned Systems Forces) subunits will be noticeable by late summer or early fall."

    (...)
While the Defense Forces are currently fighting for the aforementioned window of opportunity through mid-range strikes (mid-strikes) and attacks deep into Russia, the situation on the contact line remains largely unchanged in a significant way.

"We are conducting active defense with elements of counteroffensive actions, but we have not seized the initiative. May was a month of increasing pressure from the enemy, and early June—its implementation. The enemy decides where, when, and with what forces to attack," notes a UP interlocutor from the Kramatorsk and Sloviansk directions.

Moreover, as UP has learned, in the statements of the supreme commander about "the Defense Forces liberating more territory than was lost," the so-called "gray zone" or "zone of influence" (which is probably extremely difficult to record in principle) was not taken into account. And under conditions of constant infiltration by the Russians, there is plenty of this "gray zone."

"As far as UP knows, the Defense Forces are conducting offensive operations with varying intensity on two directions—Aleksandriya and Lyman. On all the others—from Sumy Oblast to Kherson Oblast—they are holding defense, counterattacking in places, and 'putting out fires' with assault regiments (such as the enemy's repeated border crossing in Kharkiv Oblast and entry into Kozacha Lopan, as UP reported)."

"As for the Defense Forces' offensive operations: the second wave of offensive actions by the Defense Forces in the Aleksandriya direction, as far as UP knows, has so far not yielded the desired result. After advancing about 10 kilometers deep into Russian positions, paratroopers and assault troops encountered massive enemy resistance and slowed down. This is precisely why, after one of his recent visits, Syrskyi announced that he had 'adjusted the plans' of the Defense Forces on this sector.

One of the groups that was clearing the area of infiltrated enemy forces in the Aleksandriya direction, which UP spoke with, was hit by 12 'Molniyas' within 30 minutes."

"As for the Defense Forces' defensive operations: according to UP data, the most 'hot' directions currently are Sloviansk, Konstantynivka, Pokrovsk (de facto Dobropillia), and Huliaipole. Separately, due to its similarity to last summer's scenario, it is worth dwelling on the Konstantynivka direction.

    (...)

"Everything happening now in Konstas (Konstantynivka) is one-to-one what was happening in Pokrovsk a year ago. There, my unit was held until the end in the Shakhterska district. They told us that clearances were ongoing, but we saw what it all looked like," recalls a UP interlocutor from the 5th Assault Brigade about Pokrovsk in 2025.

"They are hunting pilots; we can't bring them into the city—they simply can't work there. We value infantry, we're raising their pay, but infantry without drone operators is nothing. Do you know how many pilots we've already lost in Konstas?" adds the serviceman."

Rybar analysis of Russian Northern Group forces activity in Kharkov - June through to July 8th

    Source: https://x.com/rybar_en/status/2075224606281998490
Offensive deep into Kharkiv Region — Rybar's analysis

In early June, Russian forces continued operations to encircle the AFU grouping in the Burluk direction. Units of the "North" grouping attacked near Volchansk and Dvorichna, aiming to bring unmanned systems closer to the enemy's main supply routes.

On the eastern flank, Russian forces pushed Ukrainian troops back from Volcha and straightened the front line from Vilcha to Pokalyane. In early July, assault troops broke through along Highway T-21-04, liberated Zemlyanoy Yar, and cleared surrounding forest belts. This allowed them to reach the near approaches to Belyy Kolodets.

On the eastern flank, Russian units methodically attacked Petro-Ivanovka and by mid-June reached its outskirts from the Novomlynskoe side. After nearly a month of fighting, the settlement was liberated. Russian forces also crossed Verkhnyaya Dvorichna and entered neighboring Mitrofanovka.

In the coming weeks, events around Belyy Kolodets will be decisive. Its capture will create a bridgehead on the southern bank of the Pylnaya River and open the way toward Prikolotne, whose fortifications are not adapted to attacks from the northwest.
