That's about what I thought too after I saw the movie yesterday - and was really disappointed.

But I do know why it abruptly ends after she says "Listen..."

I place Close Encounters in my all-time top 10, but after watching that Pitch Meeting video description of this movie all I can think of is how far Spielberg has fallen.

No spirit, no feel, just another action movie spiced up with extraterrestrials. See it for yourself and you might understand what I mean. It's just like any of those huge superhero movies Hollywood has been forcing to us for what? 20 years already?

Besides, I think Spielberg already did a perfect movie with the same subject and that movie of course is Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Richard Dreyfuss alone made that movie so much better than Disclosure Day. Another good one is the mini-series Taken which Steven Spielberg produced back in 2002. See those if you haven't already.

And very disappointed by the animals that look so fake for a movie with such huge resources that it ruins all the scenes where they appear. So many uncredible things in the script.

I didn’t hear a single person around me talking about it either.

Hi everyone! First of all, I'll say that on a personal level I expected more from the movie. Maybe I set my expectations too high, since there are several Steven Spielberg films that are incredible and also shaped my childhood (in a good way, haha).

I expected more ufological references. A fleeting scene about crop circles, another about abduction, another about telepathy and precognition. It also shows: the Kecksburg incident, the Roswell case, and Richard Nixon's secret trip. There are probably a couple more I'm forgetting. And too much emphasis on the animal-ufological connection — while there is some of that in the case history of the phenomenon, it's not to the level of importance, exaggeration, and distortion that was shown.

I find it striking that the protagonists are a man and a woman, and that they are the absolute key to the success of everything that happens. Integration of opposites? Union of the brain's hemispheres? The quality of androgyny as the epitome of being?

Finally, it's also notable the emphasis placed on some artifacts recovered from the aliens and how, through these, an imprinting had been done on the selected humans. But this biological (and spiritual too?) modification is done through the eyes. The belief that "the eyes are the mirror of the soul," or that they're linked to the essence of our being, is almost universal across different cultures.

Are we being told that these highly advanced beings have the gift of elevating our lowly, clouded condition to the level of exalted beings? Or, in a veiled and romanticized way, are we meant to understand that these beings have the power and ability to alter — without asking our permission — the deepest and most sacred part of us?

P.S.: I don't think it's minor, nor unintentional, that throughout the whole movie we're only shown the Greys typology... reinforcing the archetype as much as possible. And following the same old biased narrative. In the vast majority of Nordic-type being cases, they talk about love, caring for nature, and avoiding the nuclear threat. That's another message for humanity that could be shown. It would be good if that were ever given massive coverage.

For a detailed, alternative take on 'Nordic' types, I learned a bit from this discussion, where both the 'others' helping humanity and those controlling humanity are said by Jorjani to be Nordic types.

Just received a copy of his book Closer Encounters yesterday, so I will get a better understanding of his research and views reading this.

Hi Jim, thanks for your reply! First let's talk about Jason Jorjani. I've seen other videos of his. He's interesting to listen to and clearly a well-educated person. But at the same time he's been associated with far-right movements and white supremacism, which doesn't sit right with me at all.

That said, I watched the segment where he talks about the Nordics and I listened to his theory on it. The problem with this is that given how fragmentary, dubious, and often contradictory our body of cases on encounters with humanoids and their interactions with humans is, drawing unequivocal and definitive conclusions is something that can never really be accurate. Or if that theory does turn out to be accurate, it's by coincidence, and we have no way of knowing whether reality is actually what we assume it to be.

There are cases where the Grays, Reptilians, and Mantis beings behave benevolently. And cases where the Nordics behave with malice. Given that, we can't be certain of anything.

On top of all that, it seems there's a certain level of existence (very elevated planes) where the being has already transcended physical form and can manifest in whatever form it wishes. I know this, moreover, because I know a genuine contactee, and the beings who connected with him had this ability.

Finally, going back to the movie itself: there's a reason we're constantly shown only the Grays typology, which has been associated with the archons of Gnosticism. Given that it's a Hollywood movie made by a prominent, influential director, I don't buy that this is a coincidence. It's entirely possible that the CIA or some other organization tied to the NWO did its part to impose a particular narrative and symbolic line.

Someone somewhere pointed out that the story is almost the same as it is in Disclosure Day, only it's much better.

I don't know what happened to Spielberg. Maybe it's him trying to do something different but it just doesn't work for him. Or maybe he's got too many flops and he thought this might be instant classic and that's why there was so much buzz. He's done a lot of good ones though so he's got nothing to lose.

Now THIS is funny!

On a serious note.. I was very surprised to find Disclosure Day on Amazon Prime already, so I bought it for $9.99, and watched it multiple times. I found a lot of things in this movie that people are ignoring entirely, when the reality is? They're disclosing a LOT of things that many non experiencers have any context for. But Contactees, Abductees, and Experiencers would certainly recognize.


The REAL DISCLOSURE :

The first thing being we have made contact... and it continues

The alien presence... and how they were/ and are possibly still are being treated.

(What they didn't do was suggest whether or not they meant us harm... or if they came to be friendly. I would assume that there would be both around us. To me, it lacked their intentions, which we need to know. )

The tech.
There is advanced technologies that allow for one mind to connect to another remotely, as this man does. And it is in human hands. (Or it boosts the signals our minds send and receive naturally). The telepathic abilities of humans, can be boosted with said tech.

(THAT is a HUGE disclosure... As this now gives the TI community some room for credibility...as well as many contactees and experiencers, and especially the abductees, at least with their loved ones, if they caught that in the movie. )

It is probably a reference to not only remote viewing, but remote abilities to gain control of the actions and behaviors of another using this mind link, so long as one is mentally capable of doing such a thing.

It acknowledges Stealth, or Cloaking capabilities.

It shows what has been happening to those who speak out about their contacts, IMMEDIATELY people are suggested to seek out a psychologist about such things. which only serves perpetuates the notion that those who make such claims "Are sick" somehow.

It not only validates et have come here... (It covers that with the Nixon info, and the videos of craft, and things that have been spoken about for many decades, but it shows the side effects, and how humanity handled it)

They used the possible "destabilization of religion" as their claim, as to why they couldn't tell anyone, (which is the one thing that has ALWAYS been pointed to in the past for non disclosure), and in the movie they made great strides to let everyone know, "Hey, God made many worlds". So we can tell you now!

It's more a movie about "look at the state we're in now", "They've inadvertantly given us absolute and ultimate control over the mass population on our world as a result" Than, "Yeah, we have neighbors, let's see what happens"

They showed how inhumane they behaved towards them. And didn't justify that necessity...

They showed the terrible side of humanity. Those that had the power to hide it and benefit themselves only, did so, KILLING OFF HUMANS FOR THEIR SECRETS. and were willing to continue to kill, to keep their power and control, up to and including now. While turning the ill gained technologies as a weapon against their fellow man.

It suggests that with this added technology, not only can the human mind can become highly telepathic,but it is advanced to the point where it can override the mind systems of the human it remotely engages.. It can DRONE a population... They needed the ability for ultimate control before they would acknowledge such things. God played no role in that decision, power and greed did. And they had to wait until they had enough tech to drone the population, (for that control), before they could release the truth.

And they disclosed all of this, without saying who "They" are... Just eluding to the fact that they are now the seat of ultimate power and control.

This is our years of conspiracy research, coming to the big screen, and openly to the mass population.

It was, in many ways, Public Disclosure, without anyone having to take actual accountability. It was the disclosure everyone wanted. But to be framed as a movie, lends the deniability, as they wait to see what the reaction would be. Meanwhile, the projects continue, those killing for their ill gotten gain, have finally enslaved us to the point where our every move is monitored, recorded and judged... If they wanted to remain in power on this world, They HAD to get to that point before they could disclose.

This is not just a movie about celebrity meetings with presidents, or lights in the skies, or terrible special effects, things we already talk about as past news... and whether or not the movie was of good production quality. It was about what they did when they had the chance to hide it, and keep it for themselves. It was about acknowledging the truth in many of the claims. The ugly underbelly of our society.

Spielberg himself suggested it was true. And as such, all you need do is watch the movie and listen to everything it is telling you. This is where we are now, where a rogue element of our own civilization, has the tech to drone an entire planet (ours). To kill without leaving a fingerprint, with access to any and all agencies that we have in place to protect us. And to control the masses. What better time is there to finally admit, that they have accomplished their goals, but once they have accomplished it?

Not exactly a feel good movie for certain... I wonder how much of this is directed towards Edward Snowden, and those in the disclosure movement?
