Radio traffic from response to Sen. Graham’s home: Emergency radio traffic indicates that Senator Lindsey Graham suffered chest pains before going into cardiac arrest Saturday night. Efforts to revive the South Carolina lawmaker were not successful. Graham died two days after his 71st birthday.

This is the second time within a month that the DC Fire & EMS Department was dispatched to the Capitol Hill home of a Republican U.S. Senator reported to be in cardiac arrest. The first was Senator Mitch McConnell from Kentucky on June 14th.

The radio traffic from http://OpenMHz.com indicates that the 911 caller last night was a woman in Baltimore. The crew from Engine 7 arrived and could not get anyone to answer the door. They apparently forced entry into the home. The radio traffic gives the impression that Senator Graham may not have immediately been in cardiac arrest when they arrived, but there is no confirmation of that information. Here’s the unofficial timeline for the call:

· 8:27:34 Engine 7 and Medic 7 (a paramedic ambulance) were dispatched to Graham’s home on South Capitol Street SE (I’ve omitted the street numbers).
· 8:32:34 Engine 7 requested a callback to get someone inside to open the locked front door.
· 8:33:34 (timestamp missing on video) Dispatcher reported that the caller said she was not in the home and the door is unlocked.
· 8:34:15 Dispatcher reported that the caller asked if they knocked on the door, believing the patient would answer. Engine 7 responded, “Yes. Repeatedly.”
· 8:35:05 Dispatcher said the caller is coming from Baltimore. The dispatcher asked Engine 7 if they would like a ladder truck company to force entry and asked about the need for DC Police. Engine 7 said they will need police, but they could handle forcing entry into the home.
· 8:53:28 Engine 7 reported CPR was in progress “now” and requested an EMS supervisor (standard on cardiac arrest calls).
· 8:54:00 EMS 6, an EMS supervisor, was dispatched.
· 9:13:41 Battalion Chief 2 told the dispatcher to attach him to the run with Engine 7 (this is not routine on most cardiac arrest calls and is likely an indication of who the patient was).

Lindsey Graham arrived in Kiev on the morning of 10 July. The trip to Kiev entails flying to Poland and then taking a 8-10 hour train ride. He was visiting a drone factory in Kiev that was hit by the Russians. He did not have enough time to depart Ukraine on Saturday morning, take the train to Poland and then catch a flight back to DC.

The former chief financial officer of The Epoch Times, a conservative multinational media company, interrupted jury selection at his money laundering trial on Thursday to plead guilty to a conspiracy charge in a $67 million fraud scheme.

Weidong “Bill” Guan, 63, of Secaucus, New Jersey, entered the plea in Manhattan federal court, admitting his participation in what prosecutors described as a scheme to launder fraudulently obtained unemployment benefits and other funds through the New York-based media company’s bank accounts and related entities.

The conspiracy charge relating to illegal financial transactions carries a potential prison sentence of up to 10 years in prison, but the deal with prosecutors spares him from the possibility that he would be convicted of other charges at trial and face the chance of more than a decade in prison.

Judge Victor Marrero did not immediately set a sentencing date for Guan, who remains free on bail.

As he admitted his role, Guan said he knew there was “a high probability” that money passing through accounts he oversaw “were the proceeds of criminality.”

He said that despite the probability that the money was linked to fraud, he “chose to accept” explanations he was given and “did not look deeper to verify my concerns.”

“This was a tremendous lapse in judgment,” Guan told the judge. “It was wrong and I am very sorry for my actions.”

In response to a question posed by the judge, Guan confirmed that he knew what he was doing was wrong and illegal.

But when the judge asked him if he was pleading guilty, he responded: “I feel like I’m guilty.”

Marrero told him it was not a question of what he felt, but whether he was guilty.

“I’m guilty,” Guan responded.

According to court papers, members of the company’s “Make Money Online” team, which was managed by Guan, used cryptocurrency since 2020 to “knowingly purchase tens of millions of dollars in crime proceeds,” including funds from fraudulently obtained unemployment benefits that were loaded onto prepaid debit cards.

Stolen personal information was then used to open accounts as part of the money laundering scheme, prosecutors said. The money was further laundered through other bank accounts held by Epoch and Guan’s personal bank and cryptocurrency accounts, they said.

Prosecutors have said the charges are not related to the media company’s newsgathering activities.

A prosecutor told the judge that a trial would have included testimony from current and former Epoch Times employees along with cryptocurrency records and hundreds of emails and text messages, including some in which Guan misled banks about the nature of the income going through various accounts.

Federal prosecutors said the media company’s revenues jumped approximately 410% when the money laundering began, from approximately $15 million to $62 million. Guan, they said, lied to banks when they asked about the increase in transactions and said there was an increase in legitimate donations.

The Epoch Times, which has promised full cooperation with prosecutors, has become politically conservative over the years and has embraced President Donald Trump.

After Thursday’s plea, the Epoch Times said in a statement that it was never a party to the litigation and it “remains focused on producing award-winning and independent journalism” under the leadership of its chief executive, Samuel Zhou, and its chief financial officer, William Cheung.

Bill Guan, the newspaper’s ex-finance chief, admitted he ran a team out of Vietnam called “Make Money Online” to carry out the scam.

MANHATTAN (CN) — A former finance executive at The Epoch Times pleaded guilty Thursday to running a $67 million fraud scheme that funneled illicit proceeds to the right-wing newspaper.
Weidong “Bill” Guan, 63, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to engage in transactions involving criminal proceeds. The plea came on the third day of jury selection for Guan’s federal trial as prospective jurors waited in a neighboring courtroom.
The jurors ultimately were not needed. Guan admitted that, as The Epoch Times’ chief financial officer, he began working with a Vietnam-based group known as the “Make Money Online” team in 2019.
As he explained to U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero, the goal of the program was to “increase the amount of donations” made to The Epoch Times — a controversial newspaper associated with the Falun Gong new religious movement, which has tied itself to far-right politics and conspiracy theories in Europe and the United States.
Prosecutors say the scheme worked. During the fraud, The Epoch Times’ annual revenue grew from about $15 million to roughly $62 million, according to Guan’s 2024 indictment.
Somberly delivering his allocution from the defense table Thursday, Guan explained the details of the project. He told the judge he directed the “Make Money Online” team to use cryptocurrency to purchase prepaid debit cards at a discount before transferring the funds on those cards to The Epoch Times.
Guan admitted that he saw several “red flags” that he ultimately overlooked. He said he “became aware” that some of the debit cards had been stolen or were the proceeds of fraud.
Prosecutors said much of the money came from fraudulently obtained unemployment insurance benefits and that Guan and his team used stolen personal information to open bank and cryptocurrency accounts before transferring the criminal proceeds to The Epoch Times.
“I am guilty,” Guan told the judge through a translator, calling the ordeal “a tremendous lapse in judgment on my part.”
Had the case gone to trial, prosecutors said they planned to present bank and cryptocurrency records showing Guan laundered tens of millions of dollars to the newspaper. They also said emails showed Guan misled several banks about the source of the funds and ignored repeated warnings about the legality of the operation.
Prosecutors have said the charges were not related to the paper’s newsgathering activities.
The Epoch Times distanced itself from Guan in a statement Thursday.
“Today, former Epoch Times CFO Bill Guan reached a plea agreement with prosecutors following his indictment in June 2024,” the publication stated. “The Epoch Times was never a party to this litigation. Under the leadership of CEO Samuel Zhou and CFO William Cheung, The Epoch Times remains focused on producing award-winning and independent journalism to serve our readers.”
Guan’s defense lawyer, Guy Petrillo, declined to comment.
Guan was originally charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, and two counts of bank fraud, each punishable by up to 30 years in prison.
The conspiracy charge he pleaded guilty to came in a superseding information filed during plea negotiations and carries a maximum sentence of 10 years.
Guan, who lives in Secaucus, New Jersey, and is not a U.S. citizen, could face deportation. Marrero, a Bill Clinton appointee to the Southern District of New York, scheduled sentencing for about 90 days from now.
Guan’s co-defendant, Le Van Hung, pleaded guilty last month to one count of conspiracy to commit identity theft. He worked with Guan on the “Make Money Online” team.
Founded in 2000 by Falun Gong affiliates, The Epoch Times is a vocal critic of the Chinese Communist Party and has supported President Donald Trump and other conservative politicians across North America and Europe. The newspaper suspended Guan after his 2024 arrest.

British oncology professor Angus Dalgleish argued that "the use of Covid-19 vaccine mRNAs in youth and children was the crime of the century".

The British oncologist also made reference to genes that function as "brakes" for the development of tumors, such as P53, BRCA and MSH.

"What worries me the most is that tumor suppressor genes may be linked and turned off.
If someone has a natural mutation in one of these genes, which happens in humans, then the cancer may appear 20 or 30 years earlier than it would normally appear", reported.
He went on to say that if more than one protection mechanism of the organism is affected, then "the brakes" are removed which prevent the development of a cancer.

Dalgleish also referred to personal experiences from his surroundings, claiming that he saw incidents which troubled him.

As he said, a close friend took a booster dose of vaccine in order to travel and a few weeks later he developed serious health problems.
"He never felt well after that, had severe back pain, and when examined, was found to have extensive melanoma", reported.

At the same time, he claimed that another person from his cycle showed a similar picture, with a diagnosis of multiple myeloma.

"I have never seen such a sudden appearance in 40 years working in the field. For me there is a clear correlation", he declared.

" The famously incompetent government agency created by Jimmy Carter to provide the nation with disaster relief is involved in yet another scandal for doling out billions of dollars in COVID-19 aid that ended up being spent on fraudulent and wasteful causes that clearly did not qualify for the funding. It marks the latest of many transgressions at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), which received nearly $100 billion in supplemental appropriations plus additional disaster relief funding to support its doomed pandemic response and recovery effort. Instead, the agency, which operates under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), executed the cash giveaway without bothering to implement effective controls, resulting in “large, organized fraud schemes,” according to a recently published audit conducted by the DHS Inspector General.

More than $13.5 billion in pandemic recovery awards went to ineligible recipients and unallowable or unsupported costs, investigators found. The disaster relief money flowed to the illicit causes because FEMA failed to implement controls to ensure the funding went to eligible recipients, follow its own policies aimed at ensuring pandemic funding was used for allowable costs and maintain consistent data collection and management processes to inform decisions and allocate resources. For instance, FEMA’s Lost Wages Assistance (LWA) and Funeral Assistance programs awarded ineligible recipients around $3.7 billion in potentially fraudulent or duplicate payments because it relied on state workforce agencies for the management of the programs despite repeated warnings from the Department of Labor (DOL) and the DHS IG that self-certifications are high risk and may lead to improper payments. Adding insult to injury, FEMA did not require state workforce agencies to report LWA fraud, hindering the efforts of its watchdog to recover stolen funds and combat future fraud.

FEMA’s faulty process for reviewing funeral assistance expenses allowed the disbursement of duplicate payments to multiple parties for the same decedent, investigators found. The disaster relief agency also failed to follow its policies to ensure pandemic funding was used for allowable costs under federal law. “We identified approximately $8.2 billion in unallowable or unsupported costs and an additional $1.5 billion in over-obligated funding that could have been put to better use during the COVID-19 pandemic,” the DHS IG report states. FEMA was also slow to take action to recoup improper payments once they were identified and the beleaguered agency paid applicants beyond the maximum reimbursement amount. In a multitude of instances FEMA applied inconsistent document review guidance, resulting in payments for unallowable costs related to the funeral assistance program. This is why the agency watchdog summarized its latest probe in a sentence that reads: “Key finding: Ineffective Controls Led to COVID-19 Funding Being Susceptible to Fraud, Waste, and Abuse.”

It marks the latest of several embarrassing lapses at FEMA in recent years alone. Earlier this year Judicial Watch exposed an outrageous program in which New York City spent tens of millions of dollars in FEMA funds over just a few months to house and feed illegal immigrants. Judicial Watch had to sue FEMA for the records because the agency failed to respond to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for payment and funding allocation files, internal communications and directives, as well as policy and procedural guidelines involving the migrant project. The records show New York City received $188 million under the Biden administration from a federal shelter program administered by FEMA and the money was spent on around-the-clock security staffing at a converted Manhattan office building used as a migrant shelter, and daily meal delivery to migrants housed in 33 hotels—including major chains such as Ramada, Best Western, Wyndham and Courtyard/Fairfield—across New York City.

FEMA was rocked by two other scandals last fall that were exposed in separate investigations. In the first numerous employees were fired for consuming pornographic content on government issued devices during work hours.
