Daniel MacAskill is a Scottish trials cyclist and street trials legend from the Isle of Skye, widely recognized as one of the most influential mountain bikers in the world. Born on December 23, 1985, he rose to global fame in 2009 after his video Inspired Bicycles went viral, amassing tens of millions of views and redefining the sport's creative potential.

He currently rides professionally for Santa Cruz Bicycles and has built a prolific career through high-production films like Way Back Home, Imaginate, and The Ridge, which have collectively garnered hundreds of millions of views. Beyond his YouTube success, MacAskill has performed stunt work in Hollywood films such as Premium Rush, released an autobiography titled At the Edge – Riding for My Life, and founded the Drop and Roll team to perform live street trials shows globally.
