We are listening to interviews now? Oh gosh, I have one too. Here is Falco just being himself, I love this man so much. I suspect he might have killed himself and staged it as an accident.

Great interview, John! Found it in my chan tabs, and catching it now (other iPad), and came here to post it. First I’ve ever heard him talk.

He’s 77, sharp as a tack, full of interesting ideas about and approaches to music. A real strong people-person, cool stories of working with others.

I only knew of him from his hit songs on radio, which I loved but never bought.

L=1:00:. Am at 31:, really enjoying it!

After the huge succes of the Falco track “Rock Me Amadeus” Rob and Ferdi Bolland were asked to write and produce another track for the Austrian singer. “Jeanny” came out in December 1985 as the third song of Falco’s studio album “Falco 3”. The single was very controversial due to the lyrics and some TV and radio stations boycotted the track, but … it still topped the charts in various European countries. For this week’s vlog I sat down with Rob Bolland, to ask him about the story behind “Jeanny” and more. Enjoy and thanks for watching! All my interviews with Rob Bolland:

    Lyrics:
    Jeanny, komm, come on
    Steh auf bitte
    Du wirst ganz nass
    Schon spät, komm
    Wir müssen weg hier
    Raus aus dem Wald
    Verstehst du nicht?
    Wo ist dein Schuh
    Du hast ihn verloren
Als ich dir den Weg zeigen musste
    Wer hat verloren?
    Du, dich?
    Ich mich?
    Oder
    Oder, wir uns?
    Jeanny, quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny, life is not what it seems
Such a lonely little girl in a cold, cold world
    There's someone who needs you
    Jeanny, quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny, life is not what it seems
    You're lost in the night
    Don't wanna struggle and fight
    There's someone who needs you
    Es ist kalt
    Wir müssen weg hier
    Komm
Jeanny (Jeanny), quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny (Jeanny), life is not what it seems
Such a lonely little girl in a cold, cold world
    There's someone who needs you
Jeanny (Jeanny), quit livin' on dreams
Jeanny (Jeanny), life is not what it seems
    You're lost in the night
    Don't wanna struggle and fight

    Hey ah
    Jeanny, quit livin' on dreams
    Jeanny, Jeanny, Jeanny
    You're lost in the night
    Don't wanna struggle and fight
Just know, there's someone who's gonna need you, baby
Jeanny (Jeanny), quit livin' on dreams

fun fact: the bikers in the video also carried Falco‘s coffin when he was buried.

    Another interview, sorry Petra.©️ 🤣

    T-ron Thomas, pretty striking talk.

, His life and music involvement since single digit ages.
    , Music industry, money, choices.
, Motivation, no drugs or alcohol, for family.
, AI, his and Rick’s thoughts on it and both of their kids’ thoughts on it.

Hi John K. I figure you’ve already seen this, pretty wild imo. Theron speaks his stories, and I believe that he’s talking truth. I’d like to hear your assessment.

L = 1:32:58. Recommended. The title here has been changed from “Pop Music’s Greatest Storyteller” since I found this vid on Rick’s chan yesterday.

Quote In this interview, Theron Thomas shares his incredible journey from his beginnings as a struggling artist in the Virgin Islands to becoming one of pop music's top songwriters. Theron openly shares his early struggles finding work, managing initial success, and his ultimate rise to the top winning the Songwriter Of The Year Grammy in 2024.

Honestly I thought the Womble song in this post above link would get a little more respect. It's a masterpiece. I thought that the thanks list would take up half the screen and everyone would be insisting I get a round of for he's a jolly good fellow. Womble songs are just like super good songs if you can see past the furries

Love the song and it is NOT AI, but the video, while colorful and somewhat entertaining, is just AI slop (for lack of a better word).

I think that it might be AI as it's got that "too perfect" quality about it that they all have, but it's a great song nevertheless rgray222 -

The Billy Joel Rick Beato interview was very good, Billy revealed his classic New York sensibility, his origins learning Piano to please his Mom, also Exomatrix I also posted that live Procul Harem in Denmark performance a few weeks back...so Snap!

This performance from David Crosby, not so long before he passed away in fact, out front of Steely Dan for a very poignant rendition of "Wooden Ships" - this struck me as being a very respectful arrangement of the CSN&Y classic Science Fiction story of the post apocalypse situation - it even has Stephen Stills-like jazzy neck pickup doodling from the 1969 release - I just thought this one was a bit of something special, I mean, come on Steely Dan performing Wooden Ships with David Crosby, it doesn't get any cooler than this:
