Dear Avalon friends,

A gentle reminder to donate to keep the forum running. Costs are now over $6,400 annually, so if you can help it is so appreciated. For most members finances are tight with rising costs around the world. So, if many members could donate what ever they can, that would really help.

Circumstances have been difficult for Bill in the past year with rising costs in Ecuador, as well as care for Mara and himself. As you all know Bill is very reluctant to ask for help as long as he has minimal daily needs met, but when any extra amount is needed for the unexpected (which means very often needing to use his very modest pension to cover the forum running costs) he could sure use a little helping hand to make ends meet. We all care about Bill, so if you can help please do.


For all those that have been able to help financially contribute to the forum, thank you so much. And thank you also for all those members who contribute helpful, interesting, and informative information and sharing your thoughts on numerous topics that make the forum what it is

Yes, we do!!

I am going through a little health thing over here and am not working at present, BUT ... ( this is magical so I am going to share it here ) I went out yesterday with Bill on my mind, looking inwardly for a way to send a little support his way. My errands list included a pit-stop to bring $200 cash to someone, in exchange for them having put $200 onto an Amazon account I set up when I first moved from Los Angeles to San Diego, because many of the holistic items I use cannot be found down here, not easily or nearby. I refuse to attach my credit card to my account, so the account lives only by way of gift cards sent to me *which is how it came into being the first place. Anyway .....the person declined to take the $200 cash -because they know I am not working they decided to make it a gift. I was stunned. But instantly I knew what had just happened. The Magical.

75% of what I now have is already spoken for, but the remaining 25% is on its way to Bill.

How fun is that? !!!!!
